Beautiful apartment and amazing view, but owner/management service could be improved The apartment itself is beautiful, very spacious and clean. There are two bathrooms and two toilets, comfortable beds, a washing machine and a very well-equipped kitchen with everything needed for cooking. The huge terrace and sea view are amazing, especially in the evening. The pool and large barbecue area with tables are also great. Our children really enjoyed spending time by the water, watching and catching little fish with a net and releasing them again.

However, we feel that the owner/management service and attention to guests could be improved. There was only a capsule coffee machine despite Booking.com listing a coffee machine and coffee maker, and there were no capsules provided. After asking, we eventually received a very basic additional coffee maker around 10 hours later. There was also no soap, shampoo or garbage bags, and not enough towels for our family of five. These are small and inexpensive things that would make the stay much more comfortable. The mosquito situation was also extreme. We have visited Curaçao three times, usually staying for around a month and changing accommodations several times, and we have never experienced so many mosquitoes. Even with our own sprays and plug-in repellents, we had many bites. When we asked for help, we were told that mosquitoes are normal in Curaçao and that we should buy something ourselves. Considering the number of mosquitoes around the property, it would be helpful to provide mosquito candles, repellents or something similar for guests. The biggest issue for us was the check-in and communication. We informed the owner through Booking.com that we would arrive around 16:00 and also informed the local manager via WhatsApp that we were leaving Lagun at 15:00 and would need approximately one hour. Nevertheless, nobody was there when we arrived and we could not enter the apartment. We had no internet at that moment and were travelling with three children, so we spent around 45 minutes outside trying to get connected and contact someone. We even had to pay around $10 to use our SIM card to reach them. Once we finally contacted the local manager, he arrived within about 15 minutes, but said that we had not communicated our arrival time, although we had done so twice. A simple message beforehand explaining exactly how the check-in works and that we needed to contact the manager immediately before arrival would have avoided the whole situation.

Locatie was good, pool was good. Grote koelkast, goede bedden. Alles bijelkaar gewoon een mooi appartement voor een zeer goede prijs.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment and the surrounding areas were clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was a laundry room in the apartment. The views were awesome, and the pool was very nice. It is in a great location with beaches, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place if you want a quiet and peaceful stay.

The bedroom tv was not working properly. We could not get it to connect to the Wi-Fi, so we were unable to use it during our stay. The living room tv was connected to cable and worked perfectly.

De prachtige plek

Dat wij vooraf niet zijn geïnformeerd over verbouw werkzaamheden. Het was een aantal dagen een enorme herrie vlak naast ons appartement!

Der Ausblick ist einfach wunderschön. Der Aufenthalt in der Anlage hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Hermoso el departamento, muy cómodo, buena piscina, el Internet de diez, Hermoso lugar para disfrutar, lo único que no tiene playa, pero igual se disfruta mucho la naturaleza!

Que no tiene playa y hay que alquilar auto, lo demás perfecto todo!

Excelente vista. Cerca de la piscina y de la playita privada. Espacioso el departamento y el espacio de piscina para pasar el rato con reposeras amplias y cómodas. La calidad de las instalaciones excelente.

No llegas a ningún lado sin vehículo pero no tiene que ver con el alojamiento, pasa en toda la isla.

the tv only works on you tube. Nothing else. And the AC is hot in the living room and the bedroom And then one of the toilets stopped working at the dryer don’t dry. And on top of all that, they charged me an extra 15$ a day for using too much electricity, which was plainly the fault of the ac never shutting off because it would not cool down, and the temp outside was only about 85.

El complejo es muy lindo y también el departamento, moderno y funcional. Destaco la comodidad de estar cerca del centro y de mambo beach! Hermoso el lugar. Siempre respondieron rápido a nuestras consultas sin problema. Me volvería a hospedar!

The pool and the garden were good

It took 1 hour and a lot of phone calls to find the person who could let us in. Something went wrong with our reservation, that is why they did not expect us. The furniture of the apartment was outdated and old. We got old and dirty bed sheets. The oven and microwave did not function. Ther kitchen equipment like plates, knifes was not enough for 4 persons.

Apartment layout comfortable, nice view all around. Beautiful surroundings. Quiet and enjoyable inside and outside.

We had some bumps in checking in, the accommodations, however, thanks to Giovanni Rosario he ironed out the bumps. We pointed the things out him and he looked after them. If it wasn't for him the experience would have been very different. Thank you again. Maybe next time we will bring back our nephew and his family with us to enjoy the property and that great pool. De locatie is heel rustig en ideaal voor gezinnen. Het appartment is ruim en bevat 2 slaapkamers. We hebben ons heerlijk vermaakt bij het zwembad. Als er iets gebeuren moest werd het meteen geregeld door de host, top!

De keuken inventaris (na vragen wordt het geregeld) en dat de stroom zo duur is. Maar goed daar kan niemand wat aan doen

The property is very comfortable and Melissa and Giovani are wonderful hosts. Great location, close to Jan Thiel Beach, Mambo Beach Club, and several supermarkets. The Wi-Fi works well and the pool is excellent. My only suggestions would be to add a few more kitchen utensils and improve the quality of the bed linens and towels

La piscine, la vue sur le port (attention ce n’est pas une vrai plage vous ne pouvez pas vous baignez dans la mer)

Nous avons dû payer 130$ pour l’eau, l’électricité, et taxe de séjour à notre arrivée. À notre départ il nous a été demander 80$ supplémentaires pour l’électricité! Nous sommes restés dans ce logement que 6 jours! Aucune explication sur le wifi qui n’était pas le bon, nous nous sommes réveillée un matin sans électricité car fallait relancer une machine et nous n’avions pas eu les infos à notre arrivée (heureusement la gestionnaire était efficace et nous a répondu rapidement). Nous avons dû payer pour des frais de ménage 85$ mais lors de la semaine personne n’est venu et il n’y avait aucun matériel pour prendre soins nous même du logement. Je vous conseille la villa santa catarina où nous avons passer la même durée et avons payer 300$ de moins car ne réclame aucun taxe tourisme ni même de surplus d’électricité. La villa est bien plus propre, équipement +++, de quoi faire de la plongée, des jeux de sociétés, gel douche, shampooing, de quoi faire le ménage, une piscine privée et une piscine commune pour faire des longueurs et j’en passe.

Nice appartement with a nice view. There is a swimming pool and a small beach (no swimming is possible) on the territory. There is air condition in each bed room and in the living room. You have a dish washer and a washing machine in the apparement. The parking slot is next to the apparement.

The owner wrote in the 'important information': "Electricity fee of 9 USD will be applied if the guests consume above 15 Kw/day. Water fee of 9 USD will be applied if guests consume above 0.25 cm (cubic meters)/day." The electricity fee were already in the total price in the booking receipt. The managers have another guideline that said that 0,5 USD will be changed per each additional kw and 9 USD per each additional cubic meter of water. And they said that electricity fee in the payment is already for normal and not exceeding consumtion. After long arguments, they put the electricity fee away. There are probably so worried about electricity consumption as they have really bad isolation on windows. You cannot make self check in and check our because they check electricity and water consumption and you should arrange a meeting time with them. You don't have any soap, sponge/rag (they have a dishwasher but only one pan for example) or no even one plastic bag in the rubbish bin. Actually, the managers are nice and helpful and the apparement itself is nice. Thus, I would give 10 instead of 6, if it would be no strange rules and extra payments for water and electricity and I can at least make self check-out. And a bad surprise at the end: you have an exact parking slot, where you are allowed to park and it's under a tree. It was a strong rain on the last night of our visit. The car was full of small leaves / flowers in the morning. They went away with the next rain during our ride but there were yellow residues on the car. Because of this, the rental company charged us a lot for an extra polishing of the car.

Uncomfortable Stay – Major Issues with Cleanliness and Amenities Unfortunately, this Airbnb was a huge disappointment. From the moment we arrived, the unit felt neglected and uncomfortable. The worst issue by far was the presence of bed bugs, which made the entire trip extremely stressful and left us feeling unsafe. On top of that, the coffee machine and toaster didn’t work, there was no soap in either bathroom, and the shower in one bathroom had no door or curtain. The second bathroom had a broken nozzle, making it nearly unusable. No paper towels were provided, and at one point, the power went out entirely. To top it all off, we were charged extra for power usage at checkout, which felt completely unfair given all the issues we experienced. I would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made. Overall a huge disappointment and I emailed the owner to notify them and give them an opportunity to make this right. I was ignored and no response from owner was relieved. Even more of a disappointment.

The location was absolutely perfect—an ideal spot for relaxation.

We booked the apartment six months prior our holiday. It was a booking that could not be cancelled. About a month before our holiday, we received an e-mail from the host, that we could cancel the booking for free if we wanted to. We wanted to keep the booking, se we did not respond to the email. Then about four days before travelling we were sent another email that we should get into contact with the host via WhatsApp to confirm check-in time. Which we then did. Not until the morning of travelling we got a text message back saying: "I'm sorry! I never saw or read your message. I should be ashamed🤦🏼‍♀️😔" -we did not think anything of it and just replied that we would see eachother this evening for check-in. Then we arrived at the gates and called the WhatsApp number. No one picked up. Then we called the number at the gates but they said they could not help. Then we got a text from the host saying that we had no booking, it was cancelled! There we were with a small child, no place to sleep and no one to help. Booking.com should not let this host be on their site. Later the host sent a mail via booking.com, claiming that they had cancelled to booking and it was my fault. Yet they fail to produce any such evidence.

Quiet on property, pool was clean and nice, lanai was accommodating, property grounds were well maintained and lush, relatively close to some amenities (restaurants/beaches), neighbor guests were friendly, gated community with easy parking, apartment was nicely furnished and clean.

The apartment came with limited amount of electricity and the overage fee for using over the limit was not disclosed at the time of booking. Our host did explain the daily power meter upon our arrival and even though we greatly limited our A/C usage and did not use the washing machine or dishwasher, we still went slightly over each day. We didn't argue the fee - we were more frustrated not having full disclosure at booking. Unfortunately, there were no window/door screens or any inside ceiling fans or fans to utilize since the bugs were too bad to leave the windows open. The unit was older and the door was missing from the master shower, one of the toilets didn't flush well and the louvers didn't function correctly on one A/C unit.

The apartment is very nice in a beautiful condominium. Melissa was super responsive and helpful. We enjoyed it very much and had a relaxing time.

When I asked if it was possible to check out later as our flight was only at 8 pm the owner agreed but made me pay an extra 15$. In my opinion (I own 5 apartments which I rent to tourists) it is a joke to ask for that money if you have nobody coming that day. Especially as we stayed 15 nights and paid more than 2000$. Plus cleaning 85$ and water and electricity. The least he could have done is let us stay a few extra hours . And we even paid the extras at the end, right before we left..

Location is great. It‘s super calm, perfect for relaxed vacation. At the same time, everything is fast reachable by car. Pool is great, and majority of the time we we’re having it for ourselves. 👍

There is nothing we did not like.

Impossible to find condo; no numbers anywhere. Had to ask the neighbors. Furniture needed a good cleaning, as did the moldy blinds. Broken microwave was a big problem for 10 day stay.

It’s very well equipped, incredibly comfortable and there are many services. The AC was a life saver, but the best thing was the pool. It has an amazing view and it’s so quiet at all times

There is nothing I can think of that I didn’t like. Not a single complaint.

The house is very well located with a private beach on site. Very close to the Caracas bay beach and short distance to both Luna park supermarket and Van der Tweel supermarket as well. Clean and good quarters and staff was very helpful and nice. Would highly recommend for a stay of a few days or even longer.
