We had a wonderful stay at Axel Beach Mykonos. The accommodations were great — comfortable, well-kept, and exactly what we were hoping for. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a drink, which set the tone for the whole trip. But honestly, the real highlight was the staff. They are the best I have encountered in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and they are without question the property’s biggest asset. They struck the perfect balance: fun, warm, and genuinely good company, while always staying completely professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble. If you’re deciding where to stay in Mykonos, this is the place. We will certainly be returning.

מיטה רכה מידי, והמיקום די רחוק מהעיר בערך 18 דק הליכה והרבה עליות וירידות ברגל. אבל מלון מהמם ויפה ובהחלט אחזור שוב למרות המיקום כי ככה זה במיקונוס.

מלון יפה ומהמם הזמנו שהייה של כמה ימים ואז הזמנו עוד לילה כי הוא אחלה מלון.

Partiamo dalla pulizia delle camere davvero pessima. Spacciate un’hotel che potrebbe essere massimo 3 stelle, un 5 stelle (che naturalmente non è) Le camere sporche piene di ragnatele, e ruggine. Le finestre e le persiane rotte! Non è possibile soggiornare in un’hotel dove la musica in piscina inizia alle 13 e quindi non riuscire più a dormire perché hai i bassi delle casse nella stanza che suonano di continuo. Capisco tutto! Ma se dovete mettere la musica a palla in piscina, insonorizzate le camere, io torno dalla discoteca alle 8 del mattino, vuol dire che alle 13 voglio dormire, non continuare a sentire musica. Avevo chiesto esplicitamente che nella mia camera non entrasse nessuno, in quanto avevo oggetti costosi, eppure non è stato così. La cucina del ristorante è molto buona ed il personale al bar è gentilissimo, ma se cercate una struttura a 5 stelle, di certo non scegliete Axel hotel Mykonos. Ero partito con grandissime aspettative, ma è stato tutto molto deludente.

החדר עצמו היה קטן, צפוף ולא מתוחזק. כבר בכניסה לחדר הרצפה הייתה שבורה, באופן שממש היה שקע ושבר עמוק ברצפה ששקע מטה. הוילונות ישנים, מלוכלכים מאוד ובלויים. ביום הראשון שהגענו היה המון שיער במרפסת כתוצאה מגילוח של האורחים הקודמים (מגעיל מאוד וחבל שלא בדקו לפני שהביאו לנו מפתח שהחדר והמרפסת אכן נקיים). לאורך השהות כן הקפידו לנקות את החדר ולהחליף מגבות. זרם המים במקלחת חלש יחסית, ועוצמת הזרם וטמפרטורת המים השתנתה כל רגע, כנראה בשל שימוש של חדרים אחרים במים (חבל שאין הפרדת תשתיות ובקרת לחצים וטמפרטורה). סטנדרטים נמוכים ביחס למלונות במקומות אחרים בעולם, אך אופייניים למלונות המיקונוס, שנראה שנשארו הרבה מאחור ולא מכבדים את התיירים בסדנרטים הבסיסיים של היום...

Beds are not great, mattress was very very soft (for me). Rusty old shower taps. Sink and shower water is yellow. Taps are rusty and a but falling apart. Furniture looks pretty dated and like it needs urgent maintenance. AC unit was very noisy (hard to put up with the noise at night). Breakfast is decent,but again not a 5 star type buffet. I went on last week of august and pool was always very quiet (plenty of chairs and space. Overall you can find much better resorts for the same price in the area.

We had a great stay at Axel Mykonos, with the staff being the absolute highlight. The reception and overall service were exceptional, with genuinely friendly and attentive people throughout the hotel. The breakfast, pool and bar area were also great, and the location is convenient, around a 10-minute walk from Mykonos Town. The gym is small but enough for a simple workout.

Our room was a little small, with limited space for luggage. We also had an unpleasant incident with a cockroach appearing during the night and crawling onto our arm, which obviously scared and woke us up. We informed the hotel, and they took care of it and thoroughly cleaned the room the following morning. Overall, despite this incident, we really enjoyed our stay and would probably come back.

The hotel is not too far from Fabrika and the city center. The rooms were stunning and clean. The staff was friendly and the pool and amenities were excellent.

Amazing stay at Axel Hotel Mykonos! Everything was possible and nothing a problem. The design was calming but fun, you will love the pool area, there was always fun lgbt-inspired inspired music playing at the pool area which was great, the gym had everything you needed. The food was so nice, especially at breakfast. Healthy options with protein-focussed dishes but also many treats. Maria at reception upgraded us to a room with a private pool, which was a dream. She helped us to hire a scooter and gave us complimentary breakfast in the day we arrived. Couldn’t ask for more. Angela, Amelia and Apostolis brightened up our day too.

A beautiful hotel. Really impressed with most things.

Our private room with an outdoor swimming pool was very dirty and was not cleaned for the entire week. We couldn’t use it most of the time. The air conditioner leaked all over the table that we had to leave our things on. Maintenance came once but the problem continued. There were some bugs/insects in the room including ants, centipede etc. we had to get rid of. House keeping did not leave us any new soap to wash our hands after the first night and we were in the hotel for 6 nights. One of the main receptionists (blond haired lady) was a bit rude sometimes and didn’t appear to listen to anyone. She just talked over guests and is quite bossy and abrupt. The night staff did not help us when we asked for ice or drinks for our room and were unhelpful about this. The day bar staff and breakfast staff are all excellent and lovely, however,

My wife and I felt this was an excellent hotel offering great value for money. While it doesn't have sea views, the location is convenient, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pool area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and our room was fantastic, complete with a private plunge pool which was a real highlight of our stay. There is very little to fault. The only drawback is that it is around a 20-minute walk to Mykonos Town, with steep hills and limited pedestrian pathways along parts of the route. As a result, having a car is highly recommended. Alternatively, be prepared for Mykonos' notoriously expensive taxis, which can cost around €30 each way for a journey of only 1.5 km. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mykonos.

A bit more vibe, but its not a complaint, they have only 30 rooms so not enough guests to give it more energy.

Angela (Aggeliki) and Marios provided fantastic, attentive service every morning, making breakfast a daily highlight. In general, every staff member at Axel is remarkably attentive. They have a true gift for hospitality—they literally anticipate your needs the moment you look up! Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay, and a special thanks for the lovely gift at checkout. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Mykonos!

Our stay at Axel Beach Mykonos was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The pool is simply amazing, we loved spending time there every day, whether to relax or just enjoy the atmosphere. The location is also perfect: just about a 15-minute walk from Mykonos Town, making it easy to enjoy the city while staying somewhere peaceful. But what truly made this place special was the staff. The only suggestion we’d have is to have Axel’s fantastic drag shows on a bit more often. They were such a highlight of our stay, so much fun, full of energy and brilliantly entertaining. We’d definitely love to see even more of them on future visits!

We really enjoyed the overall vibe and atmosphere of the hotel. It has a great energy and is the perfect place to relax while still feeling connected to the Mykonos party scene. Most of the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool is absolutely perfect and was one of the highlights of the hotel. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice, and we loved the music and playlist around the pool, which created a great atmosphere all day long.

The main downside was the location. Getting to Mykonos Town isn’t easy, and the hotel is not very accessible on foot. Finding a reasonably priced taxi was almost impossible, with fares of around €40 for a 1.5 km ride, while the hotel charges €45 for an airport transfer, even though the airport is also only 1.5 km away. For a 5-star hotel, we believe a complimentary shuttle service to Mykonos Town is essential. Many other hotels in the area already provide this service, and it makes a huge difference for guests staying outside the town center. We also felt uncomfortable with the tipping situation. We were happy to tip the staff who served us during our stay, but at check-out the reception staff explicitly asked us to leave them a tip as well. Considering the price of the rooms, we believe Axel should pay its employees fairly instead of putting guests in the position of being asked directly for additional tips.

Axel beach was amazing! room was perfect and defs appreciated the upgrade. Beds are comfy and enough space in the shower for a group, which was cheeky. The environment was very manicured, clean, aesthetically pleasing. I did stay here at pre preak season, so not alot was happening but my overall experience was amazing! buffet breakfast helped for the hangovers too. and its just a short walk to the centre of mykonos town which was amazing! Will recommend to everyone!

The gym could of used some A/C or open windows and maybe an upgrade on the equipment.

Our stay at the Axel was an incredible experience for the end of our Greece trip. The pool, bar, gym, and breakfast all exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a great air conditioner, private pool, and modern bathroom. The staff throughout the hotel was incredible and so helpful with recommendations, booking taxis/transfers, and exceptional food and drink service. The pool and bar were perfect for days we didn't have the energy to venture out to the beach or to recover from a late night out. Maria at the front desk was incredibly accommodating, allowing us a late checkout on our last day with a late ferry, and even giving us an incredibly thoughtful farewell gift!

We would've liked more clothes storage in the room and possibly a little more privacy fencing for our private pool and patio area.

Par où commencer ??? Séjour idyllique… Les espaces communs sont magnifiques et très bien entretenus. Notre chambre avec piscine privée était parfaite. La chambre était nettoyée tous les jours avec un passage supplémentaire en soirée pour le réassort de serviettes. A l’arrivée un cocktail de bienvenue est offert, ainsi qu’une bouteille de vin dans la chambre et un petit cadeau de départ. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel avec un buffet de large choix et possibilité de commander des plats chauds sans supplément . Vous pouvez manger au bar de la piscine pour des prix raisonnables. Les plats y sont bons et copieux. L’hôtel est à 20 mn à pieds de la gare routière et du centre ville de Mykonos. Une supérette est à proximité (2 mn à pied). Le meilleur pour la fin… le personnel d’une gentillesse infinie et toujours prêt à vous satisfaire. Je n’ai jamais rencontré un personnel aussi bienveillant et chaleureux. Mille mercis pour avoir rendu notre séjour inoubliable

Ho trascorso un soggiorno assolutamente fantastico all'Axel Beach Hotel di Mykonos e non posso che dare il massimo dei voti a questa struttura! Tutto è stato perfetto, dall'inizio alla fine. Ci tengo a fare i miei più vivi complimenti a tutto lo staff per l'atmosfera e la cura dei dettagli. L'accoglienza è stata calorosa e impeccabile: un ringraziamento speciale va alla reception, in particolare a Maria, che ci ha supportato sia fornendoci preziosi consigli per visitare l’isola sia per il noleggio della moto. Un plauso grandissimo va anche ad Angela del servizio food e beverage e al personale delle pulizie sempre sorridenti. Ci siamo sentiti sin da subito come a casa. Se cercate un posto dove sentirvi coccolati, con un servizio eccellente e un'atmosfera unica a Mykonos, l'Axel Beach è la scelta definitiva. Ci torneremo sicuramente! Grazie di cuore a tutti!

Excellent from the beginning to the end. They welcomed us with a cocktail. The room was clean. There is some fresh fruits, bottles of water, Nespresso coffee machine…, Breakfast is also excellent with a large buffet and a choice of omelet,toast and more The swimming pool is stunning And all the staff has been lovely throughout our stay. I highly recommend this establishment.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Axel Beach Mykonos. A beautiful oasis not far from town, this property was clean, comfortable, and the staff and service was beyond ! A big shout out to Maria at reception, Amelia and crew at the Skybar, Angela, Mario and team at breakfast. The friendliest team we have encountered on our 4 months of travel. The facilities were great for our 7 night stay, the pool area was a delight and we loved our gym workouts before a cooked breakfast each morning. We highly recommend this adults only resort !

The only negative and its not the hotels fault, the road into town can be quite congested.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The atmosphere, the attention to details, welcoming and delicious food, made this stay outstanding!

Magnifique hotel, et bien situé même à pied : 15 min de la ville, 25 min d'une des plus jolie plages, moins de 5 min d'une agence de location de véhicules, à côté d'une supérette... mais surtout des professionnels attentionnés à l'accueil, au bar ou au restaurant. Nous avons séjourné au Axel Beach hotel Mykonos et ce fut une excellente expérience. L’emplacement est idéal : environ 10 à 12 minutes de marche du centre-ville de Mykonos, ce qui permet de profiter de l’animation tout en étant dans un endroit plus tranquille. Le fait d’avoir un stationnement disponible pour notre véhicule a aussi été un gros avantage. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été impressionnés par le professionnalisme et la gentillesse du personnel. Les employés sont souriants, accueillants et très attentionnés. Le site est magnifique, très bien entretenu et d’une propreté impeccable. Notre chambre était parfaite : propre, confortable, avec un lit très agréable qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer. Le déjeuner inclus était également un gros point fort. Pour un hôtel avec déjeuner compris, la qualité et la variété étaient vraiment exceptionnelles : œufs, omelettes, saumon fumé, pâtisseries, fruits frais, yogourt et plusieurs options pour tous les goûts. Stef and Maria at the front desk were outstanding and always willing to help with anything I needed. The housekeeping team was exceptional. Every single attendant and manager that I encountered knew when I left my room, it was cleaned almost immediately, and evening turndown service included fresh towels and a thoughtful sweet treat. They even had my room ready early and graciously accommodated my arrival first thing in the morning. Everyone at the Pool Bar was fantastic. I genuinely enjoyed spending the week with the team and other guests—it felt less like a hotel stay and more like being at home with friends.

we were lucky enough to have a private plunge pool but it needed the bugs sieving out of it a little more frequently.

There was nothing I didn’t love

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed and relaxed. Special mention to the amazing Maria at the front desk and the lovely Marios who were always so attentive and friendly. We have been to Mykonos numerous times however this was the first time staying at The Axel Hotel and needless to say this will be our new favourite place which we will be staying at for future visits to Mykonos.

真的非常棒的體驗，不論飯店的設施，人員，跟早餐，實在想不出缺點，特別感謝櫃檯小姐（對不起，因為我的手機在雅典綠線捷運上被搶，所以照片全部沒有了，只能從朋友的手機分享一些照片，而且忘記了你的名字），不但三晚把我們升等為有私人泳池的房間，退房時還送我們小禮物，進出飯店時還熱情的招呼，真的很感動跟感謝，期待能再一次拜訪米克諾斯，當然只選這間美麗又棒的飯店，再次感謝讓我們留下美好的回憶～

Das Axel Beach hat uns von Anfang an abgeholt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, der Pool einfach traumhaft. Was uns aber am meisten begeistert hat, war das Personal - herzlich, hilfsbereit und einfach warm. Nicht das übliche Hotellächeln, sondern echte Gastfreundschaft. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen ein Highlight. Als queeres Paar haben wir uns von der ersten Minute an vollkommen wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

The furnishings were good, the beds are comfortable, the balconies are perfect, the garden is lovely and the staff are very friendly. If getting stuck in a lift is always that much fun, then I’d be happy to do it again... :P

I really missed having a large mirror in the room; I think it would be nice offered a steamer too next to the iron. The noise from the cars on the street can be heard very clearly in the room.

We had a lovely stay at Axel Hotel. The staff were amazing, a special thanks to Mario, Stefanos and Angela who made our stay special with their friendly faces. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and only a 15 minute walk to little venice. The breakfast was so good too! Pool area was picture perfect with good vibes and music all round. Would highly recommend.

Wish bar prices were more reasonable as we would have spent more at the hotel, but they are the same as most other places in Mykonos.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. The service was of a very high standard and made us feel truly welcome. In our opinion, this is one of the better Axel Hotels in Europe in terms of overall quality and standards. The hotel also has a gym, which was a great advantage for us. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the centre and the free parking. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return in the future.

pool aspect means sun all day. Sensational! Same for overall resort pool. Outstanding planning! Rooms are modern, spacious and clean Bed is incredibly comfortable Super friendly and helpful staff especially at breakfast and the bar. (Marios and Angela) Pool tunes pumped out all day long, absolutely banging dance music that creates an excellent vibe. No fear of discrimination. Inclusive and accepting environment. Surprise afternoon drag show as I was having a 4pm swim. Just fantastic!

No sun-beds around private pool. Only option: to lay on the floor. A premium suite with private pool and all that’s outside is two upright wooden chairs - the same as those in the restaurant? Madness. Needs loungers provided. Nowhere to hang wet swimwear to dry. I have never been on a holiday with no drying facility. Enough space outside, don’t understand this at all! The only hook for towels is IN the shower… that wasn’t thought through 🤣 These may all seem minor but when you pay top price for the most expensive room type you expect these standard provisions as without them it just doesn’t make sense. If these improvements are made this room would be perfection as this resort is sensational in so many ways.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Personal ist super freundlich und Serviceorientiert, Zimmer haben eine gute Ausstattung mit Klima. Beim Frühstück sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein. Lage des Hotels ist relativ zentral (man ist in ein paar Minuten in der Innenstadt)

Beautiful hotel with many self contained apartments with their own individual stylings. The main area of gym / breakfast area / pool / sun loungers / bar and dining area makes you feel like you are on the set of love island. And what makes this are the staff! Special shout outs to Angela, Mario, Amelia and stefano!

It’s about a 15 min walk from Mykonos town without pavements and you have to breathe in the traffic pollution

I've stayed in other Axel Hotels before so know the brand. Axel Mykonos did not disappoint. Incredibly friendly staff - nothing was a problem during our stay. Lovely vibe by the pool - happily spent full days there. Equally convenient to walk down into Mykonos town - about 15min walk. Very comfy beds, and rooms get cleaned twice daily if you want it by the very friendly cleaning staff. Gym is small but enough in there to do a bit of a workout. There is a proper gym just behind the hotel which does day passes, and a supermarket 1 min walk away. Breakfast was very very good - lots of selection, and hot stuff cooked to order. I would definitely stay again if I visited Mykonos.

Only downside for me was the shower in my room was so low I had to duck down to get under it.
