Reviewed Aug 28, 2026The place was beautiful, a bit far from the main road so is silent and the staff is helpful and friendly beyond their work, all round a welcoming place that made an already beautiful experience even better, for the price is probably the best place around
The road is a bit damaged outside but it's not the hotels fault, and even with that, they even take care of your transportation if you ask them and pick you up at the entrance of the hotel

Las cabañas no resultan comodas,no tiene ningun complemento para poder colgar o colocar la ropa,si tienes q tenerlo en la maleta en el suelo es un caos,para una nochebte puedes arreglar pero cuando te quedas entre 4 o 5 noches no es comodo.Pone q tiene secador pero hay q pedirle,lo normal es q si lo ofrecen en la habitacion es q este dentro como ocurre en otros hoteles.El desayuno esta bien pero no es variado,al final si desayunas muchos dias lo mismo te acabas cansando.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026酒店环境优美，位置优越，靠近海岸几步地，离沙丁鱼风暴潜点大约步行十分钟路程，走着去就可以了，老板给我们提供了许多帮助和建议，推荐的餐厅很好吃。最让我喜欢的是，住宿环境很安静，空调基本没噪音，对我这个睡眠不好的人来说太友好了，每个客房都有一个大大的晾衣架，玩水回来晾湿衣很方便，老板是个用心做旅店的人。

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Le concept de cabanes a beaucoup de charme, et le personnel est vraiment très gentil et disponible. Ma fille était malade pendant le séjour: le directeur chinois de l'hôtel est régulièrement venu demander des nouvelles et proposer son aide, de même que les employés: Un très grand merci pour votre gentillesse!
L'hotel a du potentiel! Mais il manque certaines choses: Tout d'abord des étagères, car il n'y a rien pour poser ses vêtements dans le bungalow Donc il faut tout laisser dans les valises: pas pratique. Il manque aussi une Safety Box pour laisser son passeport par exemple, même si les philippines sont très secure. Ce n'est pas leur faute, mais je suis plongeur, et les plongées sur Moalboal sont très décevantes par rapport au reste des Philippines

Comfy beds, AC worked well, great breakfast and staff helped organise pickup from/drop off to Cebu airport for us! About 7-10min straight and easy walk to the main moalboal streets with restaurants etc

The owner was rude and disrespectful. He knocked on our room door multiple times around midnight, even though he knew we were already asleep. He could have waited to speak with us in the morning instead. His behavior made us feel very uncomfortable and traumatized, especially since there were only two of us and we are both girls. Overall, this staycation was not recommendable.

The boss was nice to us, but we heard him openly yell at his staff a few times. To begin with, this was unprofessional toward us as guests and also inappropriate toward his staff. These ladies work really hard and did not deserve this.

Es gibt ei freien Platz im Garten, der wäre perfekt für den fehlenden Pool:-)

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Staff was helpful, room was clean and the place itself is somewhat unique- beautiful, tropical vibes. The owner itself offered us fruits for us early morning to take, as we wouldn’t be able to have our complimentary bfast, that was very sweet gesture indeed. Thank you!
The AC control is in chinese character which we can’t understand and it got colder at early morning, we couldn’t adjust the temperature.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Nice property. Wifi and AC were working well. It's conveniently located if you plan on renting a motorcycle (we did through them directly and all went well). Breakfast was simple but tasty. The staff is simply amazing.
The biggest downside was the semi-open bathroom: we found a huge cockroach the first two days of our stay. After that, we started closing all drains and that seemed to do the trick. It's understandable for small huts surrounded by greenery, but still a bit unpleasant. It would be nice if rooms had a mini fridge and some more storage or furniture in them. The location is good, but prepare to walk a lot if you don't rent a motorcycle. The term resort is used a bit loosely. Apart from the huts, there are no other amenities.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Ставлю твердую 9. До 10 баллов не дотягивает из-за отсутствия вешалок для одежды, и хотя бы мини холодильника. Да, это бунгало. Но в этом весь кайф. Кто путешествовал по странам ЮВА, тот поймет. Очень внимательный персонал во главе с великолепным менеджером. До моря 7 мин пешком. Тучи сардин и меланхоличные черепахи в 30 метрах от берега. Маску, ласты, трубку бесплатно выдают в отеле. Завтрак включен (сок, растворимый кофе, яичница и сосиски), что позволяет не искать с утра точку общепита, которых и так, не то чтобы много. Но это Филиппины, а не Таиланд, не ждите вкусной уличной еды. Кстати, рекомендую трапезничать исключительно на фуд маркете на главной дороге, пешком также минут 7. Там представлено несколько кухонь, включая индийскую и итальянскую. Обязательно закажите в отеле плавание с китовыми акулами. Всего 40$ на человека. P S. Больше 5-7 дней на острове делать нечего, поэтому лучше в поездке совместить два острова: Себу и Боракай.

Frühstück war soweit OK. nach dem das Personal am Abend ca. 18 Uhr gegangen ist hat sich der chinesische Besitzer um einen gekümmert man konnte kalte Getränke auch Bier zu einem sehr guten Preis erwerben Mopeds rum mieten waren ebenfalls zu einem guten Preis verfügbar. Der Sardinen Run ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar liegt direkt gegenüber der Chili Bar
nächster Strand ca. in 5 Km Entfernung Tuk Tuk oder Moped nötig

While the area the huts is in is really lovely and aesthetic, the inside of the accommodation itself felt very basic. It’s essentially a shell with a bed in it and a bathroom, which doesn’t reflect the effort that has gone into making the outdoor area feel so homely and welcoming. My only other gripe would be the breakfast, the options are very limited and we opted to eat elsewhere towards the end of our trip

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Amazing stay. The room was very comfortable and all the staff were so kind, helpful and always happy to book any tours or transfers. The main strip is about a 10 minute walk or just a few minutes by tuktuk. I would definitely recommend staying here and it was great value also.

Je vous recommande vivement ce lieu - nous avons été super bien accueilli par le propriétaire malgré notre arrivée tardive - le logement était parfait , lit avec couette - staff très gentil et qui nous a réservée notre scooter + trycicle - resort très bien entretenue - super petit déjeuner - plages, restaurant proches Merci à l’ensemble de l’équipe c’était super !
Prévoyez de vous déplacer en scooter ou trycicle :)

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026I had a wonderful stay at East Holiday Resort! It's very close to both the beach and the city center, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly! I also booked the spectacular tours to Kawasan Falls and the Sardine Run directly through them.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026麻雀虽小，五脏俱全，房间干净简洁，设备设施实用性强，淋浴有热水，床铺舒适，连插座位置、卫生间的防虫网都能感受出老板对于使用便利舒适的细心考量，及优先考虑用户体验的初衷。 也许上述描述并非对于一个优秀度假村的判断标准，但在当地，能够有如此的入住体验，真的是难能可贵的。 老板乐于助人，从我预订时候就给了我很多建议和帮助。度假村的地理位置也很好，步行即可抵达沙丁鱼区域。
早晚都有摩托车的噪音，可能是因为我住的是靠近马路的房间。

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war einfach aber lecker. Die kleine Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Hütte war sauber.
Eine kleine abstellmöglichkeit für die Koffer und Rucksäcke wäre schön. Da es teilweise geregnet hat, konnte man seine Sachen nicht draußen trocknen. Drin gab es allerdings auch keine Möglichkeit zum aufhängen der Sachen.

The breakfast is very simply and not really healthy and also the room was not soundproof and it was overall very noisy (but I have the feeling that’s the case with almost every hotels in the Philippines).

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026El sitio limpio y bien cuidado. El dueño respetuoso y muy atento. Las trabajadoras eran super simpáticas y resolutivas. Fuimos a bucear temprano y aunque el desayuno empezaba a las 7 nos lo hicieron a las 6. Un detallazo. Lo recomiendo mucho.
