ربما الصعود الي السطح انا لاتوجد لدي مشكلة ولكن ان كانوا كبار بالسن او مرضاء فالصعود سيصبح متعب بعض الشي

Los anfitriones son muy amables, te falicitan y ayudan en todo lo que necesitás! La Respuesta de ellos es muy rápida por wp. La habitación es cómoda y cuenta con balcón, y A/C muy necesario para los días de mucho calor. El baño tiene agua caliente y buena presión. Quizás las almohadas necesitan un cambio.

A tener en cuenta: se sube 3 pisos por escalera y está cerca de una mezquita. Para lo que tenemos sueño liviano puede ser un problema. Se encuentra a 20 min a pie del centro y a 9 min en tuk tuk. No tiene demasiados sitios para desayunar alrededor.

Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, with A/C and ceiling fan, wardrobes and a balcony (with windows) overlooking the alleyways. Kettle, tea, coffee and white sugar always available. Some crockery and a filtered water dispenser were available in the common living area. The best thing was the host family's hospitable and friendly approach; Arun and his father Devanand were always available to answer questions and share tips during our stay. They also ensured we had fresh towels and fixed small issues promptly which made our stay very comfortable! The accommodation is also conveniently located to explore Fort Kochin and Mattancherry, and around 40 mins by car/uber to Eranakulam Junction (train station)

These are minor things, overall we had a great experience! Sometimes the crockery and water dispenser weren't stocked up (e.g. missing spoons, dispenser ran out of water), but Arun was always quick to respond whenever we flagged something was missing. Milk for tea wasn't available, whereas in other places we've stayed around India there's usually a powder milk option. We would have enjoyed the balcony in the room more if it had nets to shield the windows from mosquitoes.

We got room at 3rd floor.there was no lift.they didn't inform us regarding this earlier.we had senior citizen in team. Heater and tv was not working too...

Had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, airy, and very clean. The linen and bathroom were also well maintained and hygienic. Another big advantage was the location; the beach was within walking distance, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

One small area for improvement could be the food options. Homemade meals or local home-style food would have added a more personal touch to the stay. Not a complaint at all, just a suggestion that could make the experience even better.

What a wonderful place to stay. Shortly after booking, I received a warm welcome via WhatsApp along with plenty of photos showcasing just how lovely the property was. I certainly wasn’t disappointed on arrival. Dev was the perfect host, he handled the usual check-in formalities quickly and then left me to settle in and enjoy my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was absolutely spotless. Dev was always available to help, whether it was arranging trips, organising laundry, or even helping with train bookings through a local agent. Although breakfast wasn’t included, for a small additional charge Dev prepared a selection of delicious dishes that were well worth it. I would definitely recommend staying here. The location is perfect and ideally situated.

Location was good. Nearby tuktuks and taxi stands. Walking distance to beach and ground. Also host was very welcoming and had spent time explaining activities in and around locations.

The rooftop was beautiful and a lovely place to relax outside. The room had everything I needed and it was in a great location. Arun and Devanand were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and kind. I was traveling alone and felt safe the whole time. They connected me with a driver, who was safe & helpful. They’re wonderful hosts.

Beautiful property. Our room on the roof which was lovely with lots of plants. The room itself was spacious and comfortable with a fridge and kettle plus filtered water. We took one look and booked an extra night! Arun took great care of us answering all our questions, recommending places to eat and booked us a massage.

photos on Booking.com matched the Homestay perfectly. Roof top terrace amazing place to sit and relax. We had a 'suite' and it was perfect - large room - dining table - perfect shower with hot water. Nice comfortable chair to sit and read. Staff more than helpful - available at all times on whatsapp. Quiet room despite it facing the road. Fridge!!! There was also a communal sitting area outside the room with comfortable seating. Large drinking water station in communal area was great for filling up water bottles and therefore using less plastic

Tout était très bien.

Les conseils et la gentillesse du personnel ainsi que les espaces communs. L’emplacement est également parfait pour visiter fort Kochi.

Tout dans son ensemble! Les chambres de l’étage supérieut avec terrasse attenante, sont remarquables, j’y retournerais sans hésitation aucune.

Il n’y a que le bruit des portes qui soit sporadiquement incommodant; il serait facile d’y remédier par de simples ajustements.

Having to claim two floors to reach the room.

Perfect location, clean and comfortable room in a really nice house, AC works very well, beautiful rooftop. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Kochi! Best of all is the hospitality of the owner who greeted me with a fruit platter when I arrived past midnight, helped book excursions and arranged an early morning Tuktuk to the train station.

As soon we arrived we were notified that's it's in the third floor obviously without lift. We had 2 large heavy suitcases. The son of the owner that he was eager to get paid he didn't even tried to help with the luggage. My husband has respiratory problems and I have back problems. The bathroom was dirty. The mattresses are hard as a rock. Pillows yellow. God know when the bedspread and the blanket was washed. And to top it up, it's says homestay which doesn't feel like it. The pictures shown are completely different from reality. I spent whole day crying. It was the worst lodging from 7 in india It is only good for young backpackers that they want to just sleep there for one night.

The property in the centre location everything is walking distance.

The host are very humble, even he help in the place to visit the hotel and everything. Really like the hospitality and the stay was pleasant

Devanand the host gave us all the info on the sightseeing and , places for breakfast etc. we booked tkts for a martial art show at the Kathakali venue. One of his sons helped us to carry our bags to the second floor

The bathroom could be cleaner. The hot water kettle can be of Stainless steel

Agréable maison, bien située, confortable et bien équipée. Notre chambre était spacieuse, la terrasse était vraiment un plus pour boire notre thé le matin au milieu des plantes avec les oiseaux à la cime des arbres autour. Le propriétaire Dev est très accueillant, sérieux, communique bien et donne de bons conseils.

Pros - Good location, 15 min walk to centre or 2 min tuktuk ride for 70 rupees - Quiet at night and in the property - Free filtered water

Cons - Uncomfortable bed - Bedding and towels were dirty and stained - Room was very dusty and dirty, we had a few mosquitos which bit us at night - Room was barely big enough for 2 people & 2 bags - Bathroom was not very clean and mouldy - Though it was quiet at night, we woke up every morning at 5am due to the mosque prayer call that was nearby - We arrived at midnight and host said he’d be asleep and we’d have to check in ourselves, I had expected the host to greet us at that time. Other reviews say they were checked in during the night but we didn’t receive that experience, the host was quite anonymous during our stay. - It didn’t feel like a homestay, no kitchen or food served despite photos showing people eating together in a kitchen. We were under the impression before arriving we could have food served at the property.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The location was great. We enjoyed exploring the streets around the homestay.

Very friendly host and proper care was given to the room cleanliness.

Loved how close this is to the beach. I used to take strolls to the beach and old historical monuments nearby, and this was located close to most of the places to visit. I also got passes to some of the best events nearby including the traditional dances. Dev has been a gracious host with good understanding of the local hotspots including places away from Kochi. My journey included visits to Vagamon and Alleppey house boat, which he was able to arrange for us at a discount.

Arun was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and had air con and fan + mos nets. Communal areas including rooftop. Decent location short walk to main tourist area.

There is a Mosque very nearby and if your room faces it you will get woken up by dawn prayer.

The hosts were friendly and efficient in their approach to check in, requests for items, information about things to do. The areas were generally clean. Room cleaning did not take place whilst we were there for 3 days. No mention of it at check-in.

Main issue is the check in book with guests personal details are left in the communal area. Having used other homestays in close proximity there is no need for a paper based registration nor the need to leave it unsecure. We had Room 4 which came with a balcony. Unable to make use of the balcony as no furniture available! Please consider placing 2 chairs and a small table to provide guests with value for money. The communal fridge needs a,clear out. A,previous guest had left food, and 3 days later after our stay it remained. The bathroom is clean, save for the rusting shower head. Please change as it's not expensive to do so and it detracts from the presentable bathroom.

A special thank you to Arun and his father, Dave, who manage the place with so much care. Due to flight delays, I arrived at 05:30 AM instead of 19:15 PM. Despite the very early hour, Arun welcomed me with such patience and kindness, which I truly appreciated after a long journey. The first room was small and very clean. There was no hot water, which I’ve since learned is quite common in many places in India (it didn't really bother me, but good to know!). I decided to stay an extra day, and they were kind enough to upgrade me to a larger room on the rooftop—it was the perfect way to end my stay! If you are looking for great value for an attractive price and a warm, homey atmosphere in Fort

La maison est très bien située. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et renseigné par l'hôte. Un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Nous n'avons juste pas compris comment mettre de l'eau chaude dans la douche, mais nous n'avons pas demandé d'aide non plus.

Posizione ottima, disponibilità del proprietario ad indicazioni e prenotazione di attività. Camera spaziosa con balcone. All'ultimo piano, bellissima terrazza.

Camera accogliente ma non totalmente pulita, bagno totalmente aperto (senza una tenda per la doccia), sulla strada quindi sia di giorno sia di notte piena di rumori. Letto molto duro, quindi molto scomodo.

Pleasant Stay

Homested was great and had everything I could have wanted in a Homestay and then some. Even had a rooftop where you could do Yoga!

A shower with hot water would have been great. Maybe there was a way to get it to work but I couldn't figure it out.

Had such a nice stay, we will be coming back two more times. Perfect base. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Really enjoyed the roof top space with so many plants for a cup of tea or a bit of yoga.. Everything is in a walkable distance. The neighbourhood is very relaxed. Dev and his son Arun are very helpful and accommodating.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem zentral gelegen, um fußläufig sowohl nach Fort Kochin als auch nach Mattancherry zu gelangen. Es gibt eine Dachterasse, die ideal ist, um dort Yoga zu machen (Matten sind vorhanden) oder zu entspannen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und unheimlich hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns am späten Abend spontan geholfen, ein Taxi für den nächsten Tag zu organisieren, was nicht ganz einfach war und sie haben sich dafür viel Zeit genommen.

The room whole place (room and common areas) was well maintained, clean, and pleasent. The kitchen area is comfortable for sitting, the roof top accommodates many plants, that make it lovely. The room, including the bathroom inside, was very comfortable and well organised. There's a wardrobe, chairs, table, hot water flow, ac and fan. Many cushion. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, Dev (the owner) arranged many things for us. Ask him anything! He'll have either a solution or directions! Thanks 🙏🏽 By the way, there's a wonderful organic shop+cafe nearby, as well as a local market.

The only thing to keep in mind is that there are stairs to climb. If it's difficult for you, ask for a room on the first floor, then you'll climb only 2 short staircases.

We enjoyed a really great few days at Homestead Homestay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It is in a central area of Fort Cochin. Devanand and his family are very kind and helpful. They gave us information on local activities and attractions. We found Devanand and his family very accessible with information. The rooftop had a wonderful peaceful garden that was suitable for yoga and reflection.

The property was very clean and comfortable. Super central location — easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, sights, and transport. The owner was extremely friendly, approachable, and helpful, making everything simple and stress-free. Great value for money for the location and quality. Felt safe and well looked after throughout the stay.

The host was amazing. He gave a very good idea of what to look for in and around Fort Kochi and also arranged seats for the famous Kathakali performance. The rooms were compact but comfortable and quite clean. Very gpod location to stay in Fort Kochi. Highly recommend.

Due to a flight cancellation, we booked this homestay last minute and reached there late in the night, but were welcomed with warm hospitality and swift check in! Mr. Devanand showed us around the entire property and let us pick from all the available rooms, which was honestly tough because every single room was in top-notch condition. The terrace was the highlight – surrounded with a forest full of gorgeous plants, where we could sit and have our morning coffee. The whole place is well maintained, with all the basic amenities in place. Plus, it’s just a 5-min drive or a pleasant 15-20 min walk to the main Fort Kochi market. Overall, a lovely stay. We’ve already recommended it to our friends and can’t wait to visit again soon!

There was nothing we didn't like.

Le propriétaire a été de très bon conseil et a été très arrangeant (réservation de taxi, conseils découverte de la ville, etc.) Chambre très propre et agréable. La maison d'hôte est très bien située pour découvrir facilement la ville.

Kamer heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Een goed bed, warme douche, waterkoker met thee, ... Ontvangst was goed. Wij hadden een vlucht middenin de nacht, daardoor mochten we langer in de kamer blijven dan de check-out timing. Was super!

Als we iets zouden moeten zeggen dan is het de locatie die op 15-20 minuten van het centrum ligt (wandelen). Maar voor ons was dat helemaal oké.

The most friendly owners willing to help with anything you need. The room was perfect so clean and just what we needed. This is the perfect place to stay in Fort Kochi we can’t recommend it enough!

The staff were genuinely the loveliest people we have ever met. The breakfast was amazing, and there was so much choice! The place was like home from home. The location was also excellent, being so close to the boats and the town centre. Would reccomend to anyone visiting Alleppey.

The wifi could have been a tiny bit better, but perhaps this was just playing up a little during our stay! Would still throughly recommend staying here though.

Very comfortable place in a lovely neighborhood. The family has a beautiful roof garden and a nice house with a separate entrance for the guests – a small but a thought-through detail. The owners are very responsive and friendly. Plus the rooms were exceptionally clean. Get ready that there may be a call to prayer early in the morning nearby the house.

Our rooms were mixed up and we had to move around during our stay. But on the plus side, all the rooms were nice and clean.
