I stayed here for 5-6 days overall and extended my stay. The rooms are inside the villa, so you have neighbours with a shared bathroom (depends on which room you get). It can be nice and social with the people you meet especially if you are traveling alone. Room isn't that modern itself but the villa is spacious and has a nice balcony to hang clothes or to chill. Room is budget sized and feels very budgety' but you won't be staying in the villa besides sleeping anyway. My neighbours cooked meals almost everyday, there is basic items for you to use the kitchen. Bathroom is also budgety' but who the hell cares when you are in the Philippines. The location is 10 minutes scooter drive from San Juan area which isn't a problem, but don't expect to walk around places because the villa is out of the mainstream location. It's also super quiet place to sleep due to it's location.

There was a miscommunication when I wanted to check-in earlier, it's technically my fault. But it was hard to get in touch with the person responsible to check me in when I arrived at the property so I had to wait about 30 minutes. The phone number on Booking doesn't have Whatsapp so it was hard to get in touch.

It is close to the road, but not noisy(only morning roosters), good AC in the room, good kitchen, great host. Easy to reach with a bike or taxi, different facilities around

Bathroom isn't ideal, not spotlessly clean and not very comfortable, and there is only one bathroom for 4 or 5 rooms. It is like that almost everywhere in the region so just be prepared :)

Nous sommes déçus, nous avons réservé la chambre avec salle de bain privé mais celle ci n’a pas de chauffe eau. Nous nous sommes donc douché dans les communs. La propreté de la salle de bain, de la cuisine, et du frigo sont à revoir

Best part is the kindness of staff and owners, literally invited me to their home for a fiesta celebrations, such nice folks! The accommodation is great also. Finally, a place that's away from main road and motorcycle roars! Good pressure on hot showers and super clean and comfy with a full kitchen you can use. Everything is designed thoughtfully, including a solar fan which charged your phone if electricity is down.

I appreciate that the property is conveniently located near the Siquijor Port, making it easy to find. The staff truly elevate the experience here; they are exceptionally hospitable and contribute greatly to the property's high review scores. We were picked up from the port by Manuel in an air-conditioned vehicle for PHP 300, which added to the convenience. My relatives had the opportunity to speak with the owner and found her to be very accommodating and friendly. The room features a double bed with ample space to open luggage comfortably. Additionally, guests are welcome to use the kitchen freely, and a water dispenser is available for use.

The shared bathroom would have been more convenient if the toilet and shower areas were separated, as the current layout causes the floor to remain wet at all times. The bathroom itself is relatively small and includes a compact sink, which may be limiting for some guests. Additionally, the staircase is quite steep, so elderly guests or those with mobility concerns should exercise caution when going up or down.

It feels like home away from home. We felt relax during our stay and were able to sleepwell because of the aircon and clean sheets of the bed.

- Even tho the room is coming with shower, there is no hot water. You need to go down to the shared bathroom for hot water shower. - No way to walk with the owner because she doesn’t have WhatsApp. Only calls. - It’s far, atleast 5-10 mintues motorbike ride from the center where you have real restaurants. - d

Loved this place! Make sure you have a scooter as it’s about 15 mins drive to the main area. Bedroom was super comfortable and the kitchen has enough items so you can cook. Aircon worked very very well! Very nice stay here.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean during our stay which was a little disappointing

The price of this guesthouse made it worthwhile for us! The room was small but clean. The AC worked well however this area of Siquijor was experiencing frequent power cuts when we were there and it got SO hot the first few nights when the power was out. There is only one combined washroom/shower for the three rooms. The shower water pressure was little more than a dribble and the bathroom cleanliness was subpar... but for the price we didn't mind much! Nice kitchen to cook in and filtered water always available which was a huge bonus! Very friendly staff :) The roosters are very loud- but welcome to the Philippines. The location was fine if you drive a scooter and aren't planning on drinking too much so you can drive home at night ;) We extended our stay here and loved the island. I would recommend the guest house to other budget travellers and only wrote this detailed review so others know what to expect. We booked last minute and didn't have as many budget options

The staff were great - stayed up until midnight to let us check in and then organised a tricycle at 4:00 AM to take us to the port when we checked out. Nice private room, tidy place, good location, helped out with hiring a bike as well!

The shower pressure wasn’t amazing, but not a big deal.

The staff was absent when I had an inconvenience. They just gave me the key room the first day and then they totally disappeared.

Super nice staff, allowed me to rent a scooter from them which worked perfectly. I liked the location as it was a 15 drive from the main tourism hub of Siquijor. Wifi worked well!

Some people may want to be closer to town. Food options were a tad limited Toilet paper was never replaced

The location was good (a bit far out from all the main restaurants, bars and beaches but very easy to rent a moped from the property :) The room was also very clean and well air conditioned.

The bathroom was a bit wet because it had a shower in it.

We had a good stay. The owner is lovely and very helpful. Location isn’t too far from the siquijor ferry. Hot shower.

One toilet downstairs (for 3 rooms) which isn’t bad just a bit unusual. Nothing for food around. Very noisy roosters but we’re in Philippines. In general a good stay.

The room was super comfortable, AC working really well, there was a wardrobe with keys so you can keep your things there(I didn’t use it tho).

The kitchen ! There is actually a lot of ustensiles and it was perfect for us. They have beers and drinks in the fridge that you can buy for a very good price, you also can buy eggs and other staff if you like. Internet was good, and the room we had was perfect. They also clean and check the house every day. We definitely recommend it !
