This is an exceptional hotel in an ideal location. Outstanding service from courteous and friendly staff. Great breakfast. The views from the rooftop terrace/observation deck are outstanding. Highly recommended.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Orient Bank. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I’d especially like to give a big thank you to Emre, who took such great care of us throughout our stay. His hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine kindness really stood out. He is a fantastic asset to the hotel and is a great reflection of the wonderful service at Orient Bank. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable. We would happily stay here again!

It is a remodeled old historical , unfortunately internal noise ( doors shutting, people talking ) can be heard INSIDE the room while sleeping , the rooms also feel cramped as the furniture is way to much / large for the size of room, poor interior design.

The location is fantastic. Right in the heart of everything but a quiet oasis to retreat to. The staff are extremely friendly,polite and full of information. The breakfast is great, service excellent and even the building is divine.

The location and ambience of the hotel is great. It is accessible to so many areas and transportation and access to good fods.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible night—it was very noisy. The front desk staff was very rude to us upon check-in, and unfortunately, the room was dirty. The hotel fell completely short of my expectations.

Some shower grouts were stained. Luke warm water for showering during a couple of the mornings. Everything else was great.

The location is fantastic, staff are lovely, turkish breakfast is delicious, and the views from the beautifully restored building are second to none.

The bathrooms are on the small side / semi-open which won’t be to everyone‘s liking.

La estética del edificio, la ubicación, la limpieza y, por encima de todo, el trato tan amable de absolutamente todo el personal, desde los encargados de la limpieza, camareros, recepcionistas... todos. Además tuvieron detalles por ser un viaje de aniversario que apreciamos gratamente.

Por problemas ajenos al hotel (fue un problema de suministro para toda la manzana) no tuvimos agua un día y el hotel nos ofreció una solución rápida y eficaz con otro hotel cercano. Además nos compensaron con cestas de frutas, chocolates, vino...

Our stay at Orientbank Hotel Istanbul, Autograph Collection was truly excellent. The hotel beautifully combines historic charm with modern comfort, offering a refined and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was elegant, very comfortable, and impeccably clean—perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. During arrival we were offered a room upgrade and that we get was outstanding. I just want to mention, that room upgrade has nothing to do with this review, we were not ask to write a good review. This was just a great and warm gesture from hotel. A special highlight was the Gregor Jazz Club within the hotel, which added a unique touch to the experience with its great music and inviting ambiance and also the staff - the club was fully booked, but they quickly find us a table and offer a top notch service. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely warm, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would particularly like to express my gratitude to Emre Akdeniz (I trust I have correctly recalled his name) for the information he provided, his warm welcome, and the time he devoted to our needs. With its prime location and distinctive character, this hotel is a fantastic choice in Istanbul—we would gladly return.

The staff are amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we have a memorable stay. They even gave us a free upgrade once they knew that we are celebrating their ur 25th Anniversary The room was clean and the breakfast was amazing

Location in the Old City was excellent. All major attractions easy walking distance. Staff were extremely helpful, knowledgable and couldn’t do enough for us. Amazing views from the beautiful cupola at the top.

• The location is absolutely fantastic. • The building itself is very beautiful. • While the breakfast selection is not very varied, the portions are large and delicious. • The staff is very friendly and polite. • The bed is comfortable. • The room is well-equipped and quite spacious. I recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again. I really enjoyed my experience.

• The renovation is a bit worn out. • Water was only provided after the first cleaning. • Some items were slightly broken and missing screws, which made them unstable. • The shower and toilet have semi-transparent walls, which is quite specific, and the doors are not very convenient.

Very disappointing stay. Far below the standard expected from an Autograph Collection hotel. Room 102 had dirty carpet with bubble wrap underneath, and visible pink/black mold in the bathroom. The sink area had no door, and the shower/toilet doors had a large gap that allowed visibility and odors. Staff first told me “all rooms are the same,” then changed the explanation after I showed photos, which felt dishonest. Room 204, where I was moved, still had mold, an unstable bathroom door, poor soundproofing, and curtains that wouldn’t close. The hallway on the first floor was filled with cleaning tools and linen bags all day long. After checkout, the hotel emailed me asking for an 8+ rating in exchange for breakfast and an upgrade next time — completely inappropriate. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Extraordinariamente ubicado a pasos del Mercado Egipcio. Edificio con carácter adaptado a hotel, personal servicial, con vistas magníficas desde la azotea.

La habitación estándar es muy pequeña, la forma de incorporar el baño al cuarto no convence, aunque para estancias cortas no resulta un inconveniente grave. El desayuno es mejorable.

La atención del personal, super amable, atentos y predispuestos! El Super Desayuno Turco, delicioso. Bien ubicado si eliges hospedarte en Sultanahmet, cerca del Gran Bazar. Es un hotel lindo construido en lo que antes era un Banco.

Demasiado pequeñas las habitaciones, en la nuestra estaba muy bonita pero muy poco funcional por el pequeño tamaño, se filtraba el agua de la regadera, lo que había mucha humedad debajo de la alfombra y pisos de la recámara.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were truly exceptional – incredibly helpful, well-trained, and always polite. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The Turkish breakfast was delicious with a great selection of fresh, local dishes every morning. The location is simply unbeatable – you couldn’t ask for a better spot in Istanbul. A beautiful terrace offering stunning panoramic views of the Bosphorus. It was the perfect place to relax and soak in the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Excellent location and really awesome staff. From checkin to leaving the property the staff did everything to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was awesome, don’t miss it. It’s easy to walk to all the sites and good access to public transport.
