Reviewed Jul 25, 2025The place is soooo clean. they clean it every day. They gave new bath towel every day. It's in old quarter but we still can sleep comfortably without being disturbed by the noises.
It's on the 4th floor with narrow stairs. But still ok since we didn't bring too much stuff.

Walking up STEEP 5 flights of stairs carrying a 22kg bag in over 30 degree heat was pure hell. We received no warming of this. For reference we are 25 yr old and go to gym, we struggled a lot. Upon arriving on the 5th floor, the staff opened the door to a hot room with curtains open allowing sunshine in. We turned the air con on and it took 10 minutes to become a OK temperature, but not cool, the air con was very poor. It was also very hard to find the hotel that is inside a shop??? This could have been mentioned in a message before arrival. Room is so loud and so bright. Light gets in through the window from the street, but also the door is frosted glass and there was a hallway light on all night. I could hear everything from those below us. Didn’t sleep well at all. Room looked nothing like the photos, they were clearly taken a long time ago.

The staff at the counter with fluent English speaking were cordial and helpful with Hasle free check in and check out. They even organised cabs to different location and good guidance
There is no reception hall or place to rest in case you arrive for early check in late check out

Reviewed May 15, 2025Staff was really friendly, William and Frost were really helpful and kind! The place was conveniently shared w a souvenir shop (helpful staff from there too, helped us a lot!) so it might be hard to locate at first. Rooms were clean and great!
As the location is nearby the pub street, it may get rowdy and noisy around the weekend. If you’re tired enough you’ll sleep through it lol if not, bring earplugs haha
