Delight Desert Private Camp

staff is very friendly and caring, food was great and tasty, breakfast exceptional, nothing for ppl who want action, but if you wanna calm down your absolutely right here. the tents are not luxury but cozy you should have a 4 WD to get here very recommendable 👍

bathroom is basic but clean... but everything works

The camp is absolutely fantastic…a truly wonderful experience. The place is clean, has beautiful features, and is very relaxing. The manager and staff are incredibly professional. The food is delicious and varied, and the place is peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of life…Thank you to the camp staff.

Magnifique nuit au Désert Delight Camp. J'étais seul par contre. Il faisait trop chaud 42°C... Vaut mieux aller à cet endroit après les grandes chaleurs donc du mois de novembre au mois de mars. Par contre, il y aura beaucoup de monde. J'ai donc dû prendre une tente avec la climatisation...

L'accueil est excellent. Le site est magnifique.

Bonne situation aux portes du desert, idéal pour une petite virée dans le désert . On peut facilement accéder aux dunes à côté pour le lever / coucher du soleil. endroit intimiste quand on sort de la douche avec vue sur le désert.

nous n'avions pas de wifi malgré la description (wifi en panne ??? ou volontairement coupé pour ne pas payer les frais vu que le camp était vide) et on capte mal la 4G dans le camp vu qu'il est dans un creux de dunes. Douche avec option alternance eau froide ou brulante. Toilettes au fonctionnement aléatoire. Bref, à mon avis trop cher pour ce que c'est

Les tentes propres, le campement est bien organisé, la facilité d'accès pour une première fois dans le désert. On était vraiment à l'orée du desert

Manque un peu de convivialité, le personnel est autour mais ne communique pas vraiment avec les voyageurs. J'aurai aimé discuter avec qqun au coin du feu sur les us et coutumes du pays.

An excellent experience! The hospitality at the accommodation was warm and welcoming, and the food exceeded all expectations – truly delicious. A special thanks to the host’s son, who showed us around the city and the desert, giving us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture. We also had a memorable camel ride at a neighboring location. Overall, a fantastic stay – highly recommended!

Niet te bereiken zonder 4WD

Super leuke woestijn ervaring gehad met ons verblijf in dit kamp. We hebben met een 4x4 door de woestijn gereden en mijn broertje heeft op een kameel gereden. Er werden diverse activiteiten aangeboden. wij hebben voor deze activiteiten gekozen. Verder hebben we genoten van zowel het ontbijt als het diner.

Nádherné duny a úžasný mladík, který se o nás staral, večer při ohni vykládal o Ománu a zvycích, rozvoněl kávu i kadidlo, povídali jsme s ním do noci, je to skvělý člověk milující přírodu a Omán. Venkovní kryté posezení nabízí kávu, datle, i větráky. Tady zažijete krásu tradičního Ománu, určitě doporučujeme.

We were happy with our stay, the dunes behind the camp were super fun to explore and the tent was pretty impressive. We experienced heavy rainstorm while we were there which was pretty wild. The tents are strong, no worries there! The food was fine and vegetarian friendly.

We enjoyed the very personal touch. We booked a tour and the owner himself (Kaid) guided us on an extraordinary exploration tour. We learned a lot about people and country. In the evening the owner family accompanied us at the campfire. Even the location is not in the deep desert it is worth staying at this camp since the offered tours explore the desert.

It was the best place to stay on the desert. Charming, very kind and friendly people, great food. Private bathroom. Pristine. Wonderful dunes bashing with Quais. Amazing place.

Personnel aux petits soins, petit-déjeuner que pour nous. Tout était prêt pour l heure convenue. Le fils du gérant nous attendait tard le soir dans le désert pour nous guider de nuit vers le camp Nous avons aussi eu droit à un feu de camp vers 21h, du café, du thé et des dattes

Confort du lit

Velmi milý personál. Výlet terénním autem na západ slunce určitě stojí za to. Cestu ke kempu jsme zvládli bez problémů s vozem Honda CRV s náhonem na 4 kola. Večerní posezení u ohýnku bylo fajn.

Superbe emplacement et personnel pour nous faire découvrir de nombreuses choses et passer du bon moment.

Cela pourrait être bien de rappeler les règles de vie à chacun. Nous avons entendu plusieurs fois des réveils de téléphones sonner pendant plusieurs dizaines de minutes vers 5/6h du matin.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans une superbe tente avec nos enfants (7 et 12 ans) et l'expérience était vraiment superbe. Notre guide nous a récupéré à un point de rendez vous car nous n'avions pas de 4x4 moyennant 5 riyals. L'emplacement est proche et le camp est complètement rénové. La déco est sobre et raffiné. Les lits sont confortables et la chambre très propre. Le repas servi en buffet sous la grande tente était délicieux et varié (riz, pates, poulet grillé, soupe, légumes....) et pour finir la soirée autour d'un feu sous les étoiles. Je vous recommande les dunes bashing avec Kays pour les amateurs d'émotions fortes. Guide très agréable et courtois. Je recommande les yeux fermés !
