Reviewed Sep 7, 2026It was located in a perfect location, close to CBD. The place was easy to access and very safe. The check-in was seamless. The host was lovely. The place was very clean. All necessities were easily available. It definitely exceeded my expectations and is great value for money. Will definitely be recommending it and coming back whenever I’m in town.

De douche werd of heet of koud, de accommodatie heeft geen faciliteiten om iets te eten en is weinig creatief om aan ontbijtwensen tegemoet te komen.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026The actual establishment was a lovely overall experience + I'd definitely stay there again - good value for money + rooms were nicely designed and comfortable [especially having a bed warmer + aircon - considering the cold weather you were having - you were definitely well equipped!]
For a minute, you might think you're in the wrong area of town to come across a boutique hotel... but once in the grounds - the place is safe + tidy. You do have to stumble through the hotel to find your way to the reception at the back though [we got a little lost] 😜

The fact that, though I had requested one room to have separate single beds,and this was communicated through to the hotel by booking.com, they claimed to have never received the request and instead pushed the responsibility on me. I feel, in as much as they are prudent and quick to acknowledge bookings through this platform, the same must be given to communication on specific or special requests.

There's an aircon, electric blanket and an extra blanket to accommodate the cold days in Kokstad. The shower is big enough for two or three people. The blue lights on the ceiling made the room more beautiful at night.
The only thing I didn't like is that I could hear people talking in the passage while I was inside the room

As for the location, it was absolutely terrible. We struggled to sleep cause of the noise and disturbance from surrounding areas (a bar or some sort of drinking establishment that made noise throughout the night and the dogs barking the whole night that felt like there were right by the window.) It was really terrible.
