The place is beautifully designed with great taste, and everything is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest detail. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into every aspect of the property, making it such a lovely place to come back to.

The room was a little cold when we arrived but there is a heater and electric blankets.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026We really enjoyed the homely feel of Fort Knox. Hannatjie was an extremely kind and attentive host. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and as easy as possible.
Unfortunately, the water heater had an issue and we weren't able to take a hot shower. This was a once-off issue that the host hadn't experienced before and I am sure it wouldn't happen again.

Although we didn't use the communal lounge, kitchen and dining room, it's a great concept. Highly recommended.

Reviewed May 21, 2026Todo. Es mejor que en las fotos. La suite, el baño, la zona de estar…amueblado con mucho gusto, como si fuera tu casa. Las zonas comunes, la terraza, el jardín… impecable y elegante. La señora que nos atendió fue muy amable y resolutiva. Nos encendió la chimenea del salón común y pasamos una tarde noche inolvidable.
El colchón un poco blando para nuestro gusto, pero es algo muy personal.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026Alles perfekt! Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Einfache telefonische Anweisung um ins Haus zu kommen. Sehr schönes, sauberes Zimmer mit einfacher Küchenausstattung. Sehr gutes Bett. Früchte, Getränke und Snaks standen parat. Schöne Aussicht an einer ruhigen Lage. Das Auto konnten wir im Innenhof parkieren. Herzlichen Dank.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026Wonderful place, host and staff. Impeccable design, amenities, plus a gorgeous view! A full range of thoughtful treats, as well as the basics for coffee and tea. Access to a shared full kitchen, living room, dining room and outdoor spaces (but we were the only guests, so it was like have a large home to ourselves). Everything you could possibly need to self-cater other than the groceries.
Every detail was perfect. Just had to move the scent diffuser out of the room since we're sensitive to perfumes.

Die Vermieterin war nicht anwesend. Den Schlüssel bekamen wir von einer Angestellten, die kein Englisch konnte. Der Abfluss des Spülbeckens war nicht dicht, sodass das abfließende Wasser in den Schrank und an der Wand hinunter lief. Es gab auch keine Telefonnummer die wir hätten informieren können.
