Alizeh is an amazing host, especially for solo travellers. She is brilliant at getting people together and creating a community. One of the best hostels I've been to solo! (Can't not mention the best staff member Leo!)

There is nothing not to like!

The stay was comfortable and the whole place was well maintained and clean. Infact I had never imagined that a hostel will be such hygenic. Thanks to alizeh we enjoyed our stay.

We liked more or less everything . I do not think there is something to dislike.

Exceptional Hospitality that makes you feel like family, not just a guest. Owner Alizeh is incredibly kind. Stunning Balcony Views of the mountains and clouds—a traveler’s dream for morning coffee or sunset. Top-Notch Cleanliness and comfort in all the dorms. Highly Social Space with a great black-and-yellow aesthetic, perfect for working, chilling, and socializing. Dedicated Recreation Room upstairs with Table Tennis and Carrom board.

Strict silent hours are enforced in the shared dorms after 11 PM. While this is great for light sleepers, it limits late-night chatting with new friends in the room.

The extremely friendly host, Alizeh, and the staff. Rio, the cutest dog in the world. The perfect rooftop cafe and mountain views. Plenty of amenities. Clean bathrooms. Occasional discounts. Affordable prices and clean rooms. Even if I had tried to find something to criticize, I couldn't find anything to criticize about this wonderful place.

I just finished my first solo trip, and I chose Friends by Alizeh through Booking.com. I picked it because of the amazing reviews and ratings, and now I know exactly why people love it! ​Alizeh is one of the nicest people I've ever met, and she's made her place as beautiful as she is. When you're there, you don't feel alone or like you're in a new place. You feel like it's your own home, spending time with family and friends. ​I absolutely love the place, and I love Alizeh too! 😍

Amazing

It was great staying at Alizeh, good silent location, near main road and shops and coffee shops. Alizeh took care for any need we had and always with smile and care. Room was clean, 24/7 hot water at the shower. Breakfast was good and tasty and don't miss the karaoke and movie night !!!

Feels just like home! The hostel is super clean, comfortable and well managed by Alizeh, who truly goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Easily one of the best stays I have had. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing two-day stay! The staff was friendly and attentive, and all facilities were well-maintained. The dining experience was exceptional, with delicious food and great variety. Enjoyed live singing, a bonfire, and fun games, making the stay even more memorable.

Had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Dharamshala. The space was clean and peaceful, but what made the experience truly special was the host—a transgender woman whose warmth, kindness, and professionalism stood out. Everything was good there

The rooms, beds, ambience of the property and the host is amazing, the food is splendid. You get super splendid views from the common area. Alizeh will host you personally and i had the best sleep because the beds are real comfy.

That I couldn't stay more

More than just a stay, it was a beautiful little chapter of connection and comfort. The time at this hostel felt like becoming part of a family. The owner’s energy is infectious, always kind and ready to help. The staff is humble and warm, catering to each request with genuine sincerity. It’s also a great spot for remote work, with peaceful vibes and inspiring views.

According to me as a solo traveler there should be different tariffs for those who want to stay longer.

The staff were friendly and responsive. Any request made was fulfilled in just couple of mins. Everything is kept clean and 5/5 for the hygiene. The food over here is great as well and definitely try their special dish shakshuka.
