The room is not clean at all. Looks like someone just checked out and everything is not properly clean. No shower cream, no shampoo, the kettle water jug dirty, don't have a hand towel, aircond too noisy and dirty. The room wallpaper tore most of the places. When shower the heater is too noisy until can hear inside room. We took family room but non of us touch or use any item inside the room. The towel too dirty. The toilet seat cover also broken. Don't have hand shower. The worst hotel I stayed in my life. The photo in web and actual totally not same. The disappointed hotel and it's a disaster

The toilet is not clean at all The towel given is very unclean. The hotel was good when the name was ideal hotel now after change to oak hotel itd really bad. Bad management. The toilet is poor in condition. Not clean at all. The light also dull. Please atleast change the toilet light.

Unexpected room condition this time.. Totally different from the picture shown. TV not working, toilet dirty, floor dirty.. Staff said TV got problem with cable, and all room will get same problem..poor the guest who staying for 3 nights. :(

I am very disappointed with my stay at Townhouse Oak Melaka. Firstly, I booked a room with a window, but upon arrival I was given a room without one. The staff's explanation was that another guest had already taken the room with a window. This is unacceptable. If there are different room types, they should be clearly stated during the online booking process so guests know exactly what they are paying for. Secondly, the room I received looked nothing like the photos used in the advertisement. The pictures are very misleading. The actual room was completely different—almost a 360-degree opposite of what was advertised. The hotel itself also looks old and is located in a converted shoplot building, which was not obvious from the online listing. Had the photos accurately reflected the property's actual condition, I would have made a different booking decision. To make matters worse, the cleanliness of the bathroom and toilet was disgusting. It was poorly maintained and did not meet even basic hygiene standards. A clean bathroom is one of the most important expectations when staying at a hotel, and this was a major disappointment. Overall, I feel cheated. After reading other reviews, I realized I am not the first guest to have this experience. It seems that previous guests have also complained about being given rooms that did not match what they booked or what was advertised. I hope the management will be more transparent with their room descriptions and use accurate photos so future guests know what to expect.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The room price offered excellent value for money. The location was very easy to find and convenient. The hotel facilities were complete and met all our needs. Most importantly, the staff were friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Most things were fine, but the facilities looked a bit worn out. There were also some spots with peeling paint and wallpaper. A little renovation would make the place even better.

Unhygienic, the washroom super dirty, black dirts everywhere, towel & bedsheet all looks odd, a/c not really cold even on 16c! The mini fridge is not in good condition! The location name please change, it’s not convenient for non-local to find in the map!

The hotel should be advertised as a super budget hotel, as the facilities provided are only suitable for that category. Booking.com should not market it as a cheap hotel simply by offering discounts to attract customers, because even after the discount, the price charged does not match the standard and quality of facilities provided to guests.

Kebersihan kurang bagus, bawah katil sangat kotor penuh sampah dengan botol and underwear pun ada bawah katil., cawan dan jug pun tidak di cuci bersih.

To był jakiś koszmar. Rozumiem że cena niska ale posprzątać można byłoby. Wszędzie syf, grzyb i straszny zapach. Dostaliśmy pokój bez okna mimo że w opisie był nawet balkon. Po jednym dniu zmienili pokój. Okna na ulicę ruchliwą. Straszny hałas. Czułam się jakbym spała na środku ulicy . Pościel i ręczniki tak żółte że ciężko to dotknąć a co dopiero używać. Naprawdę lepiej trochę dopłacić i się nie denerwować. W drugi dzień pobytu zatrzasnęły się drzwi do łazienki i nie było opcji ich otworzyć. Obsługa próbowała je otworzyć do 3 w nocy po czym poszli i wrócili rano tylko dlatego że wyjeżdżałyśmy a tam było wszystkie kosmetyki. Łazienkę otworzyli o 10 następnego dnia a o 10:30 wyjeżdżaliśmy. Dobrze że to był krótki pobyt bo tylko dwie noce nieprzespane. Więcej nie dalibyśmy rady. Omijać szerokim łukiem.

I liked that the hotel was at convenient location. Price was reasonable. No deposit needed. I liked that it came with balcony. The shower in bathroom was splendid.

Sadly the room was dusty and dirty. Especially the bathroom. Toilet bowl had stains and walls were dirty. Shampoo dispenser was broken. We were also extremely dissapointed that no toiletries were provided. Balcony area was also dirty. And no in room telephone to call receptionist. Hope all these are rectified as we are looking to visit melaka again and might rebook the same hotel

the rooms were not cleaned properly. The tables and bedside tables were not clean. The cups and glasses were dirty. The bathroom was also not cleaned properly. The shower head was missing and the glass panels were dirty.

The hotel is situated not far from the centre of the city. Easy to go to the places that we are intend to visit.

The location is good and we can get many choices of restaurants in walking distance.

The bathroom shower glass and towel look a bit dirty. I stay on the 2nd floor, we can hear rats scurrying around in the ceiling of my room at night, it's not comfortable and can't sleep well

Room was big and price was very affordable. Basic room facilities and clean drinking water (water filter) were available. Plenty of food options nearby within walking distance. RM2 per day parking available.

The hotel is quite old and overall hygiene can be improved. Minor stains on towels and bedsheets.

Harga lebih mahal bila time cuti. Parking sunyi dan jauh kebelakang. Dah kena bayar parking,dulu free. Mlm xde guard jaga. Siang time nk check out baru muncul guard cina mntk duit. Air mineral pun da kena beli.
