The room was like on the picture with very nice view.

Apart from the rooms, which match the description, everything else is neglected. The sky bar closed, looks like a squat. The restaurant is expensive, the food is poor, and there is no service. Breakfast is very limited and not good. The pool is dirty and unusable. Overall, the hotel is run-down. It's okay for a single night before doing "the loop," but nothing more.

Le restaurant et le petit déjeuner était très mauvais pour pas dire immangeables. Et je reste poli. Le personnel a l’accueil pas vraiment présent.

Had a great stay, everything was as it should be, Tina the host couldn't do enough for me, I would recommend anyone to book the ha giang loop tour with them, it was a blast

Extremely good value for money considering the lovely staff and views. Rooms were clean. Got picked up for ha Giang loop by mamas for free the next day too which is good to know!

Ik had een Ha Giang loop tour geboekt bij Lotus, dus een nacht voor de tour in de dorm verblijven was ideaal. Tina aan de receptie is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam! De tour zelf was uitstekend! Kem was de leider en zorgde voor een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Loutus is the best choice of the hagiang,they provide free breakfast buffet including 15 different varieties of fresh veggies fruits and proteins, staples,respect they're unprofit indea,some guest grabbing very much like 3 plates at the same time,so they're can save money from the food because in the way already have enough nutrition to running the whole day maybe two days. The most important reason people stayed at loutus is swimming pool,as you can see on the advertisement pictures has some people swimming there,so after the check in i went to the pool,and i found i don't understand how to swim,so I soaked my body and then I felt thirsty but i don't have any water to drink,so I tried some of the pool water. that's fine,it's the fresh natural river from the hill,taste sweet and minerals…… On the day I stayed at the dormitory there were only French girl and i ,she can speak influence French language ,and made phone call at the midnight for 2 hours,so i had to listen to her conversation with others, even though i like her accent that's seemingly morocco,the dormitory is built on the hill so you can feel moist air and musty smell that kept me awake the whole night,in spite I opened window and door,but doesn't work,I looked out of window at the night scene started to missing Sahara desert that's very dry,very very dry

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The level of hygiene was honestly disgusting. The bathroom was dirty, covered in mold, and there was a huge spider inside, which made us feel very uncomfortable. The swimming pool was another major disappointment. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was to have a place to cool off from the intense heat, but the pool was green, clearly not being properly maintained, and looked filthy. We couldn’t bring ourselves to use it, which was a huge letdown. The food was just as bad. It looked unhygienic, lacked quality, and was honestly laughable. We didn’t feel confident eating there after seeing the conditions. The only person who was consistently kind and helpful was Tina. Although there wasn’t much she could do to fix the issues we experienced, she always tried her best to help us and was the only staff member who made us feel genuinely cared for. That said, we also booked the Ha Giang Loop tour through the hotel, and that experience was excellent. The tour was well organized, enjoyable, and the staff involved made it a really pleasant experience. It’s a shame that such a good tour was paired with such poor hotel accommodations. Overall, the Ha Giang Loop experience was a highlight of our trip, but the hotel’s cleanliness, food quality, poor maintenance, and communication issues made our stay very unpleasant. We would not recommend staying at the hotel, even though we would recommend the tour.

De kamer was prima, de massage ook. Grab werkt niet altijd goed in Ha Giang was prettig dat receptie een taxi voor ons boekte.

Eigenlijk alles! Het zwembad was groen en vies en werd vooral gebruikt door buurtkinderen. Bij de receptie zat vaak niemand dus voor het boeken van een massage zijn we eerst 3x langs gelopen alvorens er iemand was. Ook de loslopende honden die duidelijk heel veel jeuk hadden en binnen plasten vonden wij niet hygiënisch.

Nadat we geboekt hadden nam de locatie contact met ons op. De Lotus Group kan allerlei tours en activiteiten aanbieden/regelen voor zeer scherpe prijzen. Voor ons hebben ze de reis van Sa Pa naar Ha Giang, de Ha Giang Loop (4dagen) en de reis terug naar Hanoi geregeld. Allemaal van zeer goede kwaliteit en aanzienlijk goedkoper dan bij andere (plaatselijke) aanbieders. Ze zijn super behulpzaam en goed bereikbaar.

De drankselectie in het hotel is erg beperkt. Verwacht geen wijn o.i.d., naast bier en fris is er niets te krijgen.

Tina turner the receptionist was an absolute gem of a person she made the whole stay exceptional and went above and beyond!

The rooms was excellent. The lady at the front desk who spoke some english was the only one really caring about our wellbeing.

Everything outside of the room, especially the pool area, is run down. Little maintained. I don't know maybe it is because it is low season, but most of the staff is also running on low motivation mode. The biggest disappointment was the pool area. You couldn't see the floor of the pool because of the unclean water. The pool was the main reason we booked this place, to get away from the heat.

Enormous room with a big bathroom. The staff is super friendly. We were able to do laundry even though we stayed one night!

I stayed in a bungalow above the pool and the view was absolutely amazing - waking up to that scenery was a highlight. The bed was very comfortable, and overall it was a relaxing place to stay. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of options to start the day.

The property itself is a bit worn out in places and could use some maintenance, but considering the price, it’s still amazing value for money.

My bungalow had some issue, so they put me in a regular room for 1night. Therefore I can say both types of rooms have decent beds. Hotel is a little isolated, as it’s meant for tour groups really. But they offer free bicycles to get into town. They have a pool table and pool. Pool table is decent when it’s not too humid evenings. And the people make up for the negatives , Tina helped me with everything. She was a gem honestly

The hotel food menu doesn’t have the biggest selection of western food. But you can tell they made an effort. Breakfast food like eggs were not covered. They should offer to cook eggs when requested, as to avoid stomach issues. Bungalow bathroom has a slight smell to it. With all this, their flexibility and how much they have to offer, makes me give them a 9/10 overall

The facilities are absolutely too old to use. The swimming pool is really unclear and dirty. The sunbeds are all broken. The food in the restaurant was not good and the restaurant itself was dirty and just overall bad maintaince. The should absolutely close this place to renovate

Le site est merveilleux avec une vue imprenable sur la montagne, les deux piscines au milieu des rochers sont magnifiques et très agréables ! L'accueil des réceptionnistes et leurs professionnalisme dans la capacité à renseigner et à solutionner les petits soucis, bravo à elles ! Location de scooter très pratique. Restauration dans la rue en dessous et très bon restaurant chinois en ville .

En revanche, le restaurant c'est compliqué...petite carte, pas vraiment bon, souvent fermé alors que l'hôtel est plein. On a l'impression de déranger à chaque fois quon y va ...ils sont en permanence sur leur téléphone...ce matin au petit déjeuner je voulai de l'eau chaude pour diluer mon sachet de café instantanée, le jeune derrière le bar sur son téléphone "5 minutes" ..10 minutes plus tard j'y retourne, il avait oublié car sur son téléphone.... il m'a redis "5 minutes" je suis retourner à ma chambre faire bouillir de l'eau et revenu au restaurant, ça m'a pris 4 minutes ! 12h00 on va à la piscine en passant je demande au restaurant une bouteille d'eau, manifestement ils étaient attablés mais qd même, regard au ciel ( genre il m'emmerde celui là), passe non chalamant derrière le bar, regarde dans le frigo, ah non j'en ai pas . Pas d'excuse, pas de proposition d'aller en chercher . Ma femme est descendu à la réception ou on a bien voulu lui en vendre une ... nous y avons passé 3 nuits tout de même pour la qualité de l'établissement et de la réception. Mais le restaurant de la piscine c'est une catastrophe ! Les napes ont du etre nettoyé pour la dernière fois il y 3 semaines et personnes ne debarrasse, occupé sur le téléphone certainement...on y a mangé 2 fois qd même à défaut car fatigués, la deuxième fois on a enlevé la nappe car elle était vraiment dégueulasse....surprise au petit déjeuner, elle avait été remise en place, dans le même état...Le petit déjeuner pas top non plus ...

What we liked most, & what brought us back to Lotus for a 2nd stay was the amazing, helpful, cheerful Tina! She made our stay! Our bungalow was beautifully clean. We did ask for normal bed linen on our 2nd stay, & not the colourful linen that was very thick & rough, & were grateful for the change. We were grateful to Tina for all her assistance with arranging a motorbike - it was a great bike, & perfect for The Ha Giang Loop! Grateful to Lotus for helmets & storage of our bags while we were on the Loop - a great service!

Although our bungalow was beautifully clean, the public areas - reception, reception toilet, restaurant & restaurant terrace (where breakfast was served), lift areas - were very dirty, & we never saw anyone cleaning them. The dog bit me, & the staff member who witnessed it did nothing. The large pool was clean on our 1st stay, but green & uninviting on our 2nd stay. The dam below the pool was stagnant, smelly & dirty. There was no lighting on the stairs from the 4th floor dining area down & over the rocks & up the stairs to the bungalows, & we saw one guest fall on the rocks. More hooks in the room would have been a welcome addition.

The majority of guests use this property to ‘bookend’ their Ha Giang Loop tours staying one night before and potentially one night after mainly using it to sleep and perhaps swim. We were unusual and had booked to use the pool and rest for a few days ahead of our own loop tour (which we used a different company so cannot comment on) so the property was extremely quiet between 10.00 and 16.00. Our room was new, modern and comfortable but walls were not very soundproof. Tina was fantastic, super friendly, helpful and obliging - she far outshines her colleagues.

We acknowledge that the purpose of our stay was different to most but we found the hospitality element of the property (e.g. food and beverage) to be extremely frustrating. The property has the potential to be excellent but is let down for the following reasons: It was not possible to purchase cold water on site (nor a refrigerator in the room) it was always stored at room temperature. There was a fridge for other beverages in the ‘restaurant’ but we were frequently told that change was not available (even for small notes) without an alternative solution so we went without… the closest store was also a 15 minute walk away, by the time you return anything your purchase is already warm! The restaurant menu was limited and uninspiring, we ate once on the first night and the food was okay but we opted to walk 40 minutes into town on our other nights. This may however be being addressed as on our last night a new menu was open on the bar with alternative dishes and drinks available. Breakfast, although included, was also limited and uninspiring. There is a rather stunning view from the rooftop/sky bar but this was not staffed on any evening of our stay (you could still take drinks up and sit but without lights, music or other guests there was not any atmosphere). The property boasts an impressive and creative pool design and while we did use this throughout our stay the cleanliness could be improved significantly of both the water and the tiles/terrace around the area. With the exception of Tina, the rest of the team were dismissive and not particularly helpful. On one occasion, after staying for two nights we requested more toilet roll from reception and were told that the toilet roll was in our room. As with most accommodation in VN, the room was not serviced during your stay which we entirely expected, so it took some explaining before we were begrudgingly supplied an additional roll. Similar was experienced when ordering food and drinks.

Het glas rondom de bar en restaurant zag groen en moet dringend schoongemaakt worden, de vloer in de bar plakte, de kussens van de stoelen waren beschimmeld, de handdoeken roken naar schimmel, het zwembad was vies, de stoelen rond het zwembad waren vuil en hingen vol vogelpoep,... Geen aanrader

Petit déjeuner et restauration pourraient être améliorés en choix et en qualité d'autant plus que l'hôtel est assez excentré du centre ville .
