Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Die Sauna ist sehr modern und hat einen schönen Ausblick auf den Fjord.
Grundsätzlich schöne Umgebung zum Wandern etc bei schönem Wetter.
Die Sauna wird mit 250 NOK pro Person berechnet.
Die ruhige Lage ist Fluch und Segen. Bei schlechtem Wetter bietet die Unterkunft wenig Abwechslung, erst dann merkt man das 40 Minuten bis Tromsø ein ganzes Stück zu fahren sind.
Die Hütte sins nicht so gut gegen starken Wind isoliert. In unseren Schlafzimmer haben wir in einer Nacht bis zu 55db durch etwas stärkeren Wind gemessen, da wir mehrfach aufgewacht sind.
Le logement et son emplacement… idéal pour découvrir cette belle région et surtout voir des aurores boréales, des élans, des reines.
Nous nous sommes, dès notre arrivée, vus présenter des activités par notre hôte, chien de traîneau (c’est des amis). Je peux réserver avec vous pour demain… Nous n’avons pas été très vigilant sur le prix en euros et avons accepté une sortie à 3 personnes pour 800 euros !!! Quelques minutes après le départ de notre hôte, nous l’avons sollicité pour annuler l’activité mais cela n’était déjà plus possible…
Nous regrettons vraiment cet incident et cela n’était qui pour nous a été très mal vécu !!!
Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet. Es war alles voll funktionsfähig und sauber. Die Lage war zwar etwas abgelegen, aber für die Polarlichtbeobachtung bestens geeignet.
Der Eigentümer war sehr freundlich. Da wir wegen des frühen Flugs sehr früh ankamen, durften wir bereits vor dem offiziellen Check-in in die Wohnung. Die Wohnung war für uns vorbereitet und schön warm.
Wir hätten uns im Wohnbereich kleine Stehlampen o. ä. zum Stricken oder Lesen gewünscht. Diese wären gemütlicher gewesen als das Deckenlicht.
In der Nacht störte ein Gerät unter der Unterkunft, das alle paar Minuten lautstark an- und ausschaltete.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2026We had such a wonderful stay! The property was comfortable and well looked after, but the real highlight was the absolutely amazing view. Spending time out by the jetty in January was so peaceful — we even spotted eagles soaring overhead and otters playing in the water, which made the whole experience feel truly special.
It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, with nature right on the doorstep. We would definitely love to come back again!

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Es war umwerfend schön in diesem Haus direkt am Fjord zu sein! Der Gastgeber hat uns sogar die Sauna eingeheizt! Mein schönstes Saunaerlebnis ever, mit Blick direkt auf den Fjord und abkühlen im Meerwasser und Schnee. Danach konnten wir im Grillhaus Fische braten, das war so gemütlich. Danke vielmals! Die Gastgeber sind wirklich ausserordentlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen. Die Strasse und der Platz beim Haus wurde regelmässig von Schnee befreit, so dass wir sogar nachts ungehindert nach Tromsö fahren konnten. wenn Du die Natur liebst, gehe unbedingt dorthin :-)

Prachtige locatie, zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Supermarkt lokaal zeer handig. Fijne sauna.
De locatie is de kracht maar ook een nadeel, in de winter ben je al gauw 45 min bezig om naar Tromso te komen. (Het fijne is dan ook wel weer dat de massatouristen wegblijven)

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Domek Maribell jest idealny dla kogoś, kto chce mieć ciszę, spokój a do tego bajkowe widoki! Jest to przepiękny domek na palach, położony na norweskim odludziu. Jest tu bardzo przytulnie i czysto. Obiekt posiada wspaniałych gospodarzy Eliasa i Elvinda. Są oni niezwykle sympatyczni i pomocni - nawet wołali nas kiedy na niebie była widoczna zorza polarna! Dzięki tak wspaniałym widokom i przemiłym gospodarzom oceniamy nasz pobyt w Maribell na najwyższą ocenę.

Rendere più visibile la descrizione per la gestione dei rifiuti. E' poco visibile, posta com'è dietro l'anta di un armadietto
Confortable, bien chauffé et avec une superbe vue.
Les petits chalets pour faire le barbecue ou simplement un feu de bois étaient très agréables.
Le sauna vue mer, un moment très sympa.
Bien que sympathique, la mentalité Norvégienne est un peu raide.

Leider gab es keine Ladestation für unser eAuto.

Reviewed Dec 25, 2025La cabane est très chaleureuse. Nous y avons passé un beau réveillon malgré la tempête. Cela fera des souvenirs. Merci pour le panier garni. Très belle attention.
Superbe soirée d’aurores boréales. Merci de nous avoir prévenu. On a vu de la cabane mais nous sommes partis en chasse aussi loin des lumières.
On a adoré.
Tout est bien équipé. Les chambres sympa. On a rapproché les 2 lits.
Nous avons vu un élan et des rennes le long de la route pour venir à la cabane...
Juste pour prévenir que la machine à laver n’est pas dans la cabane. .

Cozy Norwegian wooden cabin just 30 mins from Tromsø where there are many reindeer near the road and where you can enjoy the northern lights (no city lights there), go fishing, take a sauna or go on trips such as whale watching expedition, reindeer farm, Nordic Cathedral, Ice Bar Tromsø, the northern brewery or the eldest pub Ølhallen. Skål!

The stairs going up is a bit small hence if you have big luggage,it might be dangerous to bring it up and down as the rooms are upstairs,but we managed it. Firewood and sauna extra payments to the owner upon usage,nothing to dislike actually😊

Reviewed Dec 11, 2024We had an absolutely amazing experience staying in this cozy cabin on the Arctic island. Everything about it exceeded our expectations.
The cabin was spotlessly clean and incredibly cozy, making it the perfect retreat after exploring the stunning surroundings. Its location was unbeatable, offering easy access to local attractions while still feeling peaceful and secluded.
The sauna was a highlight—not only was it impeccably designed, but the views from it were absolutely breathtaking. It added a perfect touch of relaxation to our stay.
A special thanks to the owner, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home.
The convenience of having a store nearby was also a great bonus, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy the magic of the Arctic. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!

Reviewed Jan 8, 2024Amazing, cozy, spotless, darling little rental. I would go back in a heartbeat! Communication was smooth and easy, and it had all the amenities we needed for a few days stay. The folks who own/operate this property are lovely, and I loved being off the beaten path. The scenery is truly breathtaking here!
Hot water in shower was kind of nonexistent, which made showering a bit difficult. Was sad to see there was no sauna; for some reason I thought there would be one; I believe one is coming soon!
Very cosy with a beautiful view. Although there is no heating in the rooms we were not cold at all as the blankets are great, and the fireplace in the living room is more than enough during the winter. The owners were very kind and always ready to help. Also, there is a small store down the road with everything one could need.
We saw on the Maribell info page that there was a sauna, however, when we arrived we were told the sauna was still under construction.

Reviewed Dec 24, 2023Super friendly host. The accomodation has everything we needed for our travel.
Accommodation was quite okay. For couples, be aware that the bedrooms on the first floor have separate single beds in different corners of the room. They can be moved, but it s quite inconvenient. The surroundings of the cottage are gorgeous. The host was very helpful. An aspect that bothered us a little was the fact that when handing over the cabin we were asked to remove the bed linens and to throw the trash. It wouldn't have bothered us so much if we have been told from the beginning so that we could calculate our schedule to have time to do this as well. we were made to take off our shoes and jacket and climb up again to remove the bedding.
Another aspect of interest is the fact that the heating was done through an air conditioner. it was very cold in the bedrooms if we didn't sleep with the door open
