Le personnel est hyper sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est très gourmand et très gustatif. J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour là bas.

La chambre n’était pas propre. Il y avait beaucoup de moustiques, j’ai eu un cafard dans ma chambre et, un crapaud qui est sorti du lavabo. J’ai dîné 2 soirs dans l’hébergement et j’ai découvert les prix à la fin. Il serait mieux que les tarifs soient affichés dès le départ.

La atención de la familia, la comida que prepara la madre, la variedad del desayuno. Además es comida local y una cantidad bastante abundante. También te sirven el desayuno en tu habitación a la hora que les indicas.

Het waren hele lieve en behulpzame gastheer. Hij vroeg wat de planning was en wilde alles voor je regelen. Onder andere een safari en een kookles. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is het een top verblijf op een rustige locatie. Ontbijt gevarieerd en kon je op elk gewenst moment laten komen.

Alles beviel heel goed

Fijne accommodatie van een lieve familie. Ze zijn erg gastvrij en behulpzaam. We hebben elke ochtend een goed ontbijt gekregen en er is op de laatste avond ook een heerlijke curry voor ons gekookt. Wij wilden Pidurangala Rock beklimmen om Lions Rock tijdens de zonsondergang te bekijken. Ze hebben ons hier heen gebracht, gewacht totdat we weer beneden waren, om ons vervolgens weer naar het verblijf te brengen. Super!

Besonders nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Mutter ist eine super Köchin. Essen wird vor die eigene Zimmertür gebracht.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt im Dimuthu Green Hostel und haben uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der Host Ranindu und auch seine Eltern waren unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und auch das Abendessen, das von seiner Mutter selbst gekocht wurde, war fantastisch! Ein absolutes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. 😍 Ranindu hat uns außerdem eine Safari organisiert und uns morgens um 4:30 Uhr sogar mit dem Tuk-Tuk zum Pidurangala Rock gefahren – ein wirklich toller Service! Besonders schön war auch die Terrasse: Von dort aus konnten wir unglaublich viele verschiedene Tiere beobachten. Dadurch hatte die Unterkunft eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre und war für uns ein echtes Erlebnis.

Das Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer sind eher einfach eingerichtet, was uns persönlich aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Wenn man im Erdgeschoss wohnt, sollte man allerdings wissen, dass man keinen Seeblick hat, sondern auf ein Feld schaut.

We had the most amazing stay here at Dimuthu Green Villa, they are such a beautiful family that takes care of absolutely all your needs. Anything you want to do or know they can provide and organise for you. We had breakfast included in the room rate and it was superb! We also ate dinner at Dimuthu 2 nights out of the three and our only regret was that we didn’t eat dinner there every night, the food is INCREDIBLE! She is a very good cook, be sure to ask for her jack fruit curry, you won’t be disappointed. The room and place its self is so peaceful, surrounded by plants and nature, super clean/comfortable room with A/C. If we ever come back to Sigiriya this is where we will be staying. 100% recommend.

It’s a beautiful Airbnb in the middle of tropical garden. Warm, welcoming and hospitable family who cooked some amazing food for us and for our friends. It’s a simple accommodation but clean and beautiful. The house is located at the end of the village which allows for nice views but is still 5-10 min walk to the shops. The family helped us also organize great drivers to travel around Sri Lanka. We used it as a stop to see the natural parks with the elephants.

Small details could be improved, like small lamps/ lights next to the bed, small cupboard for clothes. It is still beautiful, comfortable and good value for money

Wir waren für zwei Nächte hier und hatten eine wirklich gute Zeit. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gepflegt und schön eingerichtet, und auch der Garten ist wunderschön.

De eigenaar en zijn ouders waren erg vriendelijk. Wij hadden nog problemen met onze tuktuk en direct ging hij alles voor ons regelen dat die gerepareerd kon worden

Struttura a conduzione famigliare immersa nel verde. Staff sorridente e molto disponibile. Colazione varia, cambiata nel corso del nostro pernottamento e puntuale rispetto ai tempi di attesa. Stanze pulite e funzionali con un piccolo patio persone per ognuna all’esterno. Consigliato se si vuol fare un’esperienza più autentica per essere coccolati come a casa.

Vriendelijke eigenaar die ons opving met een welkomstdrankje. De kamer is gloednieuw en erg ruim, het bed lag lekker en we kregen een echt Sri Lankaans ontbijt! We konden na het uitchecken ook onze tassen achterlaten.

Cette chambre dans ce petit hôtel plein de charme était parfaite. Le petit-déjeuner était tout simplement exceptionnel, avec des produits délicieux et généreux, et la vue sur la jungle était absolument magnifique. Un immense merci à toute la famille pour son accueil si chaleureux, sa gentillesse et son attention tout au long de notre séjour. Une mention spéciale pour les délicieux jus frais, dont nous gardons un excellent souvenir. Nous serions restés volontiers plus longtemps et espérons avoir l’occasion de revenir un jour. ❤️

Notre séjour a malheureusement été beaucoup trop court. C’est sans aucun doute l’une de mes plus belles expériences de voyage, et probablement la meilleure.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leckeres und üppiges Frühstück. Großer grüner Garten. Idyllische, ruhige Lage.

Es hat mir alles gefallen! Das Frühstück war mega, die Unterkunft wirklich schön mit der Terasse, auf dem das Frühstück zur gewünschten Uhrzeit serviert wurde und auch der Gastgeber war super freundlich und hat mich sehr gut beraten, was die Aktivitäten vor Ort anging. Ich hatte eine wirklich gute Zeit!

Das einzige was man anmerken könnte, aber davon abhängig ist, was man möchte, ist die Lage, auch um Abends Essen zu gehen. Man muss immer ein bisschen laufen oder gefahren werden. Aber ich hatte auch einen Abend das Abendessen in der Unterkunft, was ich auch nur empfehlen kann! Und eine Anmerkung noch. Das Zimmer ist wirklich ausreichend groß. Nur, falls man zu dritt reist, könnte es etwas eng mit dem Gepäck werden - je nach Größe des Gepäcks :)

Nous avions prévu de rester 3 nuits et avons finalement prolongé notre séjour en cette fin de trip Sri Lankais Lit confortable avec clim, ventilo et moustiquaire Salle de bain impeccable, eau chaude La table + terrasse devant la chambre est également un point positif Chambre refaite à neuf, l'une des plus clean de notre séjour Le gros + c'est que l'hostel est bien situé : environ 5 min en Tuktuk du coeur de Sigiriya. Quelques restaurants pas trop loin Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et délicieux. On en a eu un différent chaque jour pour découvrir les spécialités sri lankaises. Et sur notre séjour nous avons diner également directement sur les tables de notre terrasse : le Rice and Curry maison était vraiment délicieux, on recommande vivement ! Dès l'accueil nous avons été séduits par cette famille qui nous accueil si chaleureusement. Le jardin est magnifique et la chambre avait une vue sur la nature. Nous avons eu l'occasion de voir de très nombreux oiseaux, des paons, des buffles au loin. Bref côté Nature, ça coche toutes les cases pour être dépaysé. Notre hôte Ranidu est venu nous chercher à la gare de Dambulla quand nous sommes arrivés. Nous avons aussi durant notre séjour décidé de faire le temple de Dambulla et Anuradapura avec Ranidu qui a été d'une grande aide pendant le séjour. Merci pour votre accueil nous avons pu passer un super moment dans la région et avons pu nous reposer à fond !

Everything was amazing, the food was delicious, room was very clean, the view is amazing, there's literally a peacock that we saw everyday outside of the terrace and they offered us help with a lot of stuff definitely not the last time❤️

Grüne Unterkunft geführt von einer sehr freundlichen Familie, die bei der Organisation von Aktivitäten und An- und Abreise hilft. Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen (1500 LKR) sehr zu empfehlen!

We had the most amazing stay here and felt so welcomed from the moment we were greeted by Ranindu and his parents. Ranindu very kindly offered to drive us to places via tuk tuk and even organised transportation to our next city the day after. The dinner and breakfast were also incredible - we were left very full and very happy. Couldn’t fault a thing during our stay here.

Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et très gentils! Le logement était très propre et fonctionnel. Il est entouré de verdure ce qui rend la vue magnifique! Nous avons eu un petit-déjeuner superbe. Nous avons vraiment passé un bon séjour 😊

Les chambres sont neuves et très confortables. L’emplacement est un endroit calme avec une belle vue à 5 minutes en tuk tuk du centre de Sigiriya. Ranindu et sa famille sont aux petits soin, dès que vous avez besoin de quelque chose (transport, conseil…) ils font tout leur possible pour vous satisfaire rapidement et la nourriture qui est cuisinée par la maman est excellente. Merci à eux pour ce superbe séjour à Sigiriya!

Die Unterkunft liegt im Dschungelgebiet und bietet von der Terrasse aus einen tollen Ausblick ins Grüne. Ein Pfau und andere Tiere leisteten uns während des Aufenthaltes Gesellschaft. Das lokale Frühstück wurde von der Mutter zubereitet und war abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet und sauber gehalten. Die Gastgeberfamilie war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Sohn bot uns rund um die Uhr preiswerte TukTuk-Fahrten an und organisierte Transfers für uns.

Es ist sehr gefährlich, sich abends draußen frei zu bewegen, da es in diesem Gebiet wilde Elefanten gibt. Und es gab keinen Fön in dieser Unterkunft.

Dimuthi and his wife and son were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable with gorgeous views from the balconies over rice paddies, a lagoon and Sigiriya Rock. There were peacocks strutting their stuff on the roof in front of our room. Ranindu, the son, drove us wherever we wanted in his tuk tuk and helped us out with our activities - it was like having a tour guide and accommodation host in one! This family are genuinely lovely, helpful, friendly people and it was a privilege to be guests in their home for a few days. Highly recommended.

Nothing not to like.

This was our absolute favorite stay so far! The family is so helpful and kind. The breakfast is amazing, which they come and bring up to your own little porch. They are eager to help you get around and like to help you plan your activities. Would definitely recommend staying here, we had a hard time leaving after 2 days. :)

Really helpful and friendly family. They helped us to organise our time in Sigirya which we were so grateful for. They also have their own tuk tuk to help you get around which helps with avoiding expensive tourist prices. The room was lovely and clean, and the breakfast in the morning was amazing!

Beautiful family hotel which is close to Sigiry and at the same time close to natur. We saw a Pico dance, hearing birds. No insects in the room. Amazing family was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, breakfast big and tasty

El desayuno y los dueños lo mejor!! Super amables y el desayuno de los mejores que hemos probado, cambia cada día, todo fresco y preparado al momento. El hotel está bonito y cuidado, las habitaciones limpias. Ubicación cómoda pero necesita transporte si quieres ir a las zonas de más interés ( fácil de encontrar). Hay restaurantes a pie y centros de ayurveda.

Algo de humedad en el baño pero parece ser un problema frecuente en la zona.

L'accueil de la famille de Ranindu est incroyable. Des hôtes charmants toujours prêts à rendre service. Ranindu nous a emmené en tuktuk partout où nous le souhaitions. Les petits déjeuners et dîners préparés par la maman nous ont permis d'apprécier et decouvrir la véritable nourriture locale. L'endroit est incroyable au milieu de multiples animaux (paons, mangoustes, singes, etc..). Chambre petite et simple mais excellente en terme de rapport qualité-prix. Très bien situé par rapport à Sigiriya (rocher du lion et pirudangala)

We had a great stay! Ranindu (son of the family) picked us up in Dambulla for a small extra charge. The family greeted us with welcome drinks and were very friendly! The accommodation was clean and there was AC. The breakfast was also very tasty, you can also get lunch or dinner for an extra charge. We can highly recommend the accommodation!

Die gesamte Familie hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen. Als Willkommensgetränk bereitete uns die zuckersüße Mama von Ranindu einen leckeren Limettensaft mit schwarzem Pfeffer zu. Unser Apartment lag mitten im Grünen und der schöne Balkon lud zum Verweilen ein. Der Garten wurde täglich von der Familie gepflegt und sauber gehalten. Die Unterkunft selbst hatte ein tolles Bett mit Moskitonetz, welches uns sicher schlafen lies. Wir waren für zwei Nächte und hatten ab und zu Besuch von kleinen Eidechsen. Das Bad ist in Ordnung und dient seinem Zweck, könnte allerdings etwas schöner sein. Das Frühstück und das Essen zum Lunch waren fabelhaft. Wir liebten einfach alles daran. Ranindus Mama ist eine wahnsinnig gute Köchin. Vor allem der Preis für das Lunch war absolut top. In Sigiriya selbst findet man kein Lunch zu diesem unschlagbaren Preis. Ein großes Lob geht an Ranindu. Er kümmerte sich rund um die Uhr um uns. Er gab uns zu jeder Zeit die besten Tipps. Außerdem war es der Familie immer wichtig zu wissen, wo wir hingehen und unsere Ausflüge machen. Wir wurden von der ersten Minute an behandelt als würden wir zur Familie gehören.

Sehr sehr saubere und schöne Unterkunft im Grünen. Sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück auf der Terrasse waren sehr lecker und entspannt. Die Familie und besonders der Sohn Ranindu sind bemüht den Aufenthalt zu etwas besonderem zu machen. Ranindu hat uns bei all unseren Pläne unterstützt und uns mit seinem TukTuk überall hingefahren. Vielen vielen Dank!

Everything was perfect. The apartment is clean and around it is a lot of trees and other greens. The location is great, because is near different historical and tourist destinations. The family is very warm and welcoming and they help you make plans or suggest different trips. Son really helped us during our stay and gave us really good ideas and also reserved a safari tour with jeep to Minneriya national park for a good price. He also text back very qiuckly so you get the anwser soon. Mom is the best cook! We ate dinner and breakfast and it was delicious. It was our best stay in Srilanka!

I had a really great experience at Dimuthu Green Villa. The host family was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their service was excellent, and the food was delicious—felt like home-cooked meals. I was traveling for work and they even helped me with tuk-tuk transport, which made things very convenient. The place was clean, peaceful, and had a very homely vibe.

everything was great thanks so much! the place is walking distance to kimbissa town with shops, restaurants etc. less than a 10 min tuk tuk ride (should be around 700 rupees) to lionrock.

Definitely the best Homestay in Sigiriya ! Ranidu and his family were very welcoming and helpful (shoutout to his wife for cooking us an amazing rice and curry.) The location insn’t the most central but Ranidu can drive you in tuktuk so it isn’t a problem ! And the rooms are confortable and clean. Thank you again for the warm welcome :)

Beautiful private rooms with private terrace and view on the garden, very beautiful! Spacious, calm, it's a real gem and we would highly recommend to stay a few nights! Also we got the best breakfast ever!! Everyday a different menu, always delicious and fresh! We would go from the accompanying to all the places in Sigiriya by scooter, but it's also possible to go by foot to a local restaurant. We would come again :)

It was a very pleasant stay. The family that runs this guesthouse are exceptional and wonderful people. We were leaving the apartment on the day of the presidential elections in Sri Lanka and we even got food for the road, because the hostess suggested that all shops would be closed today. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfasts and dinners are exceptionally tasty. You can see that the hostess cooks with her heart. The host helped us organize a cheap safari in Minneriya National Park. Warmest regards to the whole family. They really need support!

Super nice family, made me feel right at home. The accommodation is new and has everything you need. The bathroom was huge and had hot water. You also have a good view of nature from the terrace. The breakfast was prepared with a lot of love and was very rich and more than enough. They also knew how to get me to my next destination by bus and even drove me to the bus stop in the morning with their own tuk tuk. will definitely be back! Thank you for having me.
