Loved having a laundry and living room to spend comfortable time in. Grocery store was a quick drive away. Ample linens

The kitchen could've used a sharp knife plus another skillet or two. Because there is no AC, fans in the bedrooms would've been helpful

Bedrooms were separated from living space.

Shower in front bathroom kept tripping a breaker switch that causes you to stop your shower, dry off, walk down the hall to reset and return to the shower. This happened 3times during my shower. Extremely frustrating.

Beds were comfortable, overall. Nice reception basket.

The sink nozzle in the kitchen was broken and we were waiting for the plumber.

Very comfortable accommodations for my family of five.

It was even bigger than we thought it would be! We had a great time and had easy access to all the things we wanted to do in Galway.

Maison spacieuse située à la périphérie de la ville et au calme. L'accès au centre ville se fait très facilement en voiture en même pas 10 min. Bien équipé et très bonne literie. Parfait pour rayonner dans le Connemara.

L'espace parking et sa cour manque de charme. Les rideaux des douches pourraient être plus longs ce qui éviterait de projeter de l'eau partout.

Wir waren zu siebt in der Wohnung, ein größerer Esstisch mit Stühlen wäre angebracht gewesen.

Casa grandissima con due bagni nelle camere con doccia e uno padronale con vasca e doccia cucina super funzionale. Pulita e accogliente.

Casa vacanza molto spaziosa e accogliente.Quattro camere da letto spaziose e ben fornite di cui due dotate di bagno in camera più un terzo bagno spazioso per le altre due.Soggiorno molto spazioso e dotato di ogni comfort.Bellissimo spazio esterno che però non siamo riusciti a sfruttare per via del cattivo tempo. Possibilità di parcheggio all’interno del cortile.Appena fuori dal centro di Galway in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Centro comodo e facile da raggiungere.

Facilities

Location was perfect. Family of 8 fit perfectly. The hosts were available and attentive to our needs.

Wifi connection is strong and high speed. The shower water is strong and warm. The heating is good, and the bed is comfortable. Washer is excellent and tumble dryer is fast & convenient.

Lovely place, close to the city centre. Very clean and the heating was on by the time we got there. Very thoughtful and well appreciated. We absolutely love it.

The beds were extremely cosy, loads of blankets and towels left. The cottage was spotless and booking was made so easy by the owners. The location is amazing, only a couple minutes drive from the city. We really appreciated the small touches like complimentary food and drink left.

Nothing - was amazing

A beautiful old farm cottage, totally refurbished but retaining so much charm. 4 bedrooms and 3 toilets and a beautiful large kitchen cum living room. A lovely outside area for relaxing or bbq and parking also. The host even left fuel for the fire, which we lit and thoroughly enjoyed, and a few welcome bits, which included a nice bottle of red. Walking distance to the shops and on the edge of the city and what was once farming land. The area is getting built up, but a short walk up the road , and you can still see some cattle in the fields. Utterly charming and unique, a little bit of lost Ireland, pure bliss.

The property was really well-located for all the sites of Galway city and the Connemara. Our group of 4 really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome - the “goodies” package was very much appreciated, particularly the Aussie wine! Our host was very communicative and we had no trouble finding the property.

The heating was a little overwhelming at times but we just had to constantly adjust it to a more comfortable level. The surrounds of the property could do with a little attention.

The place was spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of six. The beds were comfy, and the well-equipped kitchen and in-suite laundry made it feel just like home — perfect for making breakfast in the morning and doing a quick load of laundry before the next leg of our trip. The host was wonderful — very friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. He even left a welcome package and local recommendations, which was such a nice touch.

Not clean, you can tell that this place is only cleaned superficially. In desperate need of a thorough clean. Bathrooms are full of molds. Needs a good coat of paint everywhere

The house was very spacious. 4 big bedrooms. Lovely kitchen and sitting room. Very clean and well furnished. Loved the back area. Ideal for a family visting Galway and surrounding area. Martin the host was so helpful and very quick to respond. The welcome gift basket was so thoughtful and appreciated.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only suggestion I would make was a little gate at the back patto if you were travelling with toddlers or pets. We had a small fur baby and we managed he loved the space.

Loved the size of the house, very generously proportioned, plus excellent outdoors space for the dog. Loved the little extras that welcomed us. The living area/kitchen is huge and must be super cosy in winter with that stove. One of the best equipped houses we've ever stayed in.

Not used to an electric hob, that caused us some learning curve.

Although near a busy junction it was very quiet. Plenty of space.

Parlour Cottage is very spacious and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here in this comfortable, airy home. It is a short trip to the vibrant city centre. We used taxis for this. Our host, Martin, provided a generous basket of goodies for us and always responded quickly to our enquiries.

Very comfortable & homely. Had all the amenities we wanted & needed, & included a welcome basket with wine, chocolate & biscuits, Pantry & tea/coffee items. A lovely outdoor sitting area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It had a washing machine and tumble. We could cook our meals but again the table was too small for 8 adults but there were 2 stools around the island.

It was far from the centre on foot. The sofa wasn’t comfortable at all. We were a group of 4 couples and one of the bedrooms was too small. They had to leave their luggage outside of the bedroom. For a family with young children it would be good.

This home was immaculate & large enough to comfortably accommodate our group of 7 adults. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were pristine & the outside patio was lovely, with a table & chairs to sit and relax. The kitchen was perfect and the “welcome gifts” left by the owner was a very nice touch. This owner obviously knows what he/she is doing. Honestly, I can’t find a single thing that would have made this home better

It's was so close to city , very spacious warm, spotless clean , abundance of towels and extra blankets. The little stove was set and fuel left to make the sitting room even more cosy. There was an extremely generous welcome basket amd communication with host was 10/10 .The parking was great .

Beautiful home, easily found and great location.

This place is just amazing. Such a nice cosy house and it's ideal for a weekend away with friends or family. Sleeps upto 8 people with 4 double bedrooms, 2 of these have ensuites and there's 1 main bathroom with a bath. Not far from the centre and costs around €15 for a taxi. Not sure if there's a bus stop nearby. Tastefully decorated and a lovely little welcome basket with wine, nachos and biscuits left for us. There is everything you could need here. Toiletries and towels are provided and hot water bottles left on the beds. Fire was set for us and fuel provided too which was a lovely touch. Place was nice and cosy and warm with heating provided. They have thought of everything. Host is contactable and very responsive. Netflix wouldn't work for us but we managed to use screen share to watch it. It's self check-in which is very handy and convenient. Overall I would highly recommend The Parlour Cottage. We will be back and will recommend you to friends and family. Thank you.

Perfect size property for a family of 6. The beds were comfortable, heating was great and the showers were the best I have had in Ireland.

The house is much bigger than it looks and comfortably slept adults, 2 children and a baby. Everything was very suitable for small children and the kitchen was really well stocked with a lovely welcome box. Highly recommend this property

Plenty of room for 3 couples and had own bathroom. Great kitchen area and very spacious overall. Fabulous hallway & build quality.

Location but far from Galway centre so walked into town each day and taxi return.

This is a lovely spacious cottage; it is deceiving from the outside as I was not expecting it to be so big! I’ll do a breakdown of each area: Kitchen/Dining Room/Living Room - Well stocked kitchen with a separate utility area. The host provided tea, coffee and sugar as well as a lovely welcome hamper (thank you so much! A lovely treat after a full day in Galway!) it was clean, modern decor in the kitchen and provided everything you would need for a long stay! Bathrooms/En Suites - Decorated to a very high standard and each one was stocked with toiletries and necessities! The hosts clearly put a lot of effort into this to make it feel more homely. The bath was lush! And a baby bath was provided which makes holidaying for any young families a blessing. Bedrooms - Good Size, nicely decorated with plenty of storage and what felt like good quality furniture. I just wanted to make a special mention about the cot bed in the master bedroom, the cot bed contained baby towels, soft blankets and sleep bags! I came fully prepared and as a mum with young children it was such a relief to see those little extras that make such a difference! Thank you so much!

The sofas in the living room were uncomfortable, they didn’t provide any lumbar support and the land outside of the outdoor seating area was abit untidy BUT I appreciate there is building work happening behind the property so that will probably be sorted once building has finished.

The host was amazing, very accommodating and left such a kind goodie box! The notes were very clear and easy to understand. Location is close to town, but still quiet and the rooms are great and very spacious, everything someone would need was provided by the host.

Everything in the house was great. Great location, also with access to the city and walk ways to walk the dogs. Was a family friendly home with comfortable beds and chairs. Great accommodation we will return.
