Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Lovely location right in the heart of Greyton & walking distance to all shops/restaurants. The hot-tub was fantastic on a cold winter’s night! Very friendly kitty that visited us and stayed over in the cottage. Great location to relax and sit and read a book. Very friendly staff and they were super accommodating about check in times as we arrived early. Will definitely be back to this cottage!
It did get very cold at night, would recommend better heating inside. The induction heater didn’t do too much

Reviewed May 24, 2026Great location on Main Road, within walking distance of cafés and restaurants. Beautiful mountain views and a lovely garden surrounding the property. The friendly dog and cat added a nice touch to the stay. Spacious room and bathroom.
The price felt quite high compared to the overall quality of the experience. We received very little welcome on arrival. We were simply shown where to park and found the key on the door. Apart from the friendly Labrador, there was no real check-in or introduction. The room felt damp and had a noticeable humidity smell. There were also several insects inside. It was quite cold, and when we tried to use the heating, there was a power outage during the night. We had no electricity for several hours until around 7:30 a.m. It would also be helpful to clearly mention that the tap water is not potable, as it comes directly from the river.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026I loved the peaceful street, nature, mountain view, braai and hot tub. We truly love Greyton and this is such a perfect place to stay for the perfect Greyton experience. The dog Bailey and cat Sonny also came for a visit, which made our stay extra special.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026Das Cottage liegt ca. 80m von der Straße entfernt auf einem schönen Grundstück. Es gibt 2 Terrassen - wir haben sehr gerne auf der vorderen gesessen. Das Cottage hat eine kleine aber feine Küche, einen schönen Sitzbereich und ein Badezimmer mit guter Dusche. Es gibt angenehm viel Platz. Unsere Gastgeber hatten zu unserer Ankunft u.a. viel Obst, Wasser und Kekse bereitgestellt. Das fanden wir sehr aufmerksam. Es war die ganze Zeit über sehr ruhig. Es war bei Hitze (wir hatten bis zu 34 Grad) recht gut auszuhalten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026The cottage was exquisite, bonus that it was pet friendly 😄 Bailey their woofie welcomed us she was so cute. The hot tub was great, and the braai facilities, along with a bag of wood. The whole town was pet friendly it was super awesome.

Reviewed Dec 17, 2024I had a wonderful stay at Cape Weaver Cottage! The pictures are an accurate reflection of the unit, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much larger the front garden feels in person—it truly feels like a private oasis and creates a sense of spaciousness. The outdoor area offers plenty of shade, making it a perfect spot to relax away from the sun, and the hot tub was a real treat after a day of exploring. The location is fantastic. It's on a quiet part of the main road with hiking trails, mountain bike paths, the river, and shops all within walking distance (about 1km), which made it incredibly convenient. The owners were warm and welcoming, and the on-site staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. I’d highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated getaway.
