Staying at this hostel was the best thing ever. We arrived in Bundoran without much of a plan and loved it from the very first moment, and we’d recommend this hostel 100% clean bathrooms, spacious, well-lit and very clean rooms.

Clean, room was nice size,

Noise from the Main Street and pub across the road especially at weekend. A lot of people seemed to know each other but no one really spoke much to me so I felt like an outsider. Also a little costly for basic accommodation.

Die Betten sind leider komplett durchgelegen und die Sauberkeit im Bad ist quasi nicht vorhanden.

Hostel spełnił nasze potrzeby. Czysto, miła obsługa, wygodne łóżka, fajna atmosfera, śniadanie skromne , ale da się przeżyć. Dobrze zorganizowana wspólna przestrzeń - salon z TV, kuchnia, taras.

Kuchnia na noc zamykana . nie można zrobić kawy wcześnie rano np. przed 8.00

Wow, the staff where amazing. The guests were all enjoying themselves. The hostel is extremely clean and tidy and the staff go out of their way to help everyone in need.

The atmosphere was vibrant and happy all the time.

La limpieza, atención del personal . Moña , la Adminstradora es un encanto. Las personas que la secundan son espectaculares también Me sentí como en casa .

Dejligt behageligt sted. Venligt personale og gæster og masser af surfere der bor der. Ligger rigtig godt og med virkelig pæn udsigt ned over stranden hvor man kan se solnedgangen. Der er køkken med mulighed for at lave mad. Simpel og god morgenmad. Rigtig godt til prisen. Overvejede at overnatte i Donagal eller Sligo, men rigtig glad efterfølgende at vi valgte Bundoran.

It was comfortable and homely great environment

The staff was friendly and welcoming; exactly what you would expect for a little surf town.

My stay was very short so I didn’t have a chance to form any negative opinions. It was exactly what I was looking for; I was really surprised by the quality of stay for the price.

I stayed at Rougey Lodge Hostel with one of my friends to de-stress from work and enjoy the scenic beauty of Doneagal, and it was exactly what I needed. The staff were magical......always surfing, always smiling, and never intrusive. It felt like stepping into a slower, more peaceful rhythm of life. I didn’t surf myself, but watching them made me want to learn. The whole vibe was calm and inspiring.

Wonderful staff & all the facilities you need. Excellent value for money.

A bit earlier breakfast than 8:30 would have been nice, but that's fine.

This hostel is very pleasant and clean and spacious. It is located right on the high street but it is quiet. There is a supermarket right next door; moreover, there is a free parking also next door. Tons of pubs and eateries around. The beach is just a stone’s throw away. The staff are delightful and very friendly. Special thanks to them for the late night check in :) The kitchen is fully equipped. The staff are very much into surfing :)) I will deffo come back :)

Well,it wasn't what I expected but I soon took to it.The relaxed friendly atmosphere was really to my liking and orividedvme with an affordable stay .A view of the ocean ,wind and surf was so soothing.

Oven not working left my pizza's having to be disposed of.

Everyone was very nice and the room was quite comfortable. The room had a private bathroom attached to it which was very good as well. In the morning there was breakfast included which wasn’t anything special but definitely good enough.

The bathroom didn’t really smell that good.

Great location, very nice staff, easy check-in. I had a nice and clean bedroom. Bathroom was also very clean, shower worked well, Kitchen was well-equipped, breakfast was also good. Would definitely come here again.

It's great as a surf hostel, couldn't have wished for more - very close to the 2 main surfing spots (I walkable, the other a minute drive). It's on the main road near pubs, cafes and restaurants, and a short walk from the coast.

There were times when I wasn't really sure who were other guests and who were staff/volunteers. Not an issue but I think generally for guests it's just nice to know who are other guests on holiday and who you can go to with questions etc

What is an outstanding positive for me is that after the 2-week 500km pilgrimage so far, it was resolved at my request that I would not have to sleep on top of the bunk bed. I was able to spend 2 wonderful days in a very friendly environment.

The Therre was no such thing.

One of the Aussies girls who works there sprayed the fly killer spray on my face while i was sitting on the couch, she didn’t even warn me so i could, at least cover my face. It was AWFUL! Next time hire responsable adults, please.

L'équipe est exceptionnelle et chaleureuse, on se sent comme à la maison. De plus leur positionnement est incroyable à 4 minute à pied du lidl et à 3 minute de la plage on ne peut pas rêver de meilleur établissement. Et le rapport qualité prix et l'un des plus élevés de l'Irlande. Chapeau bas

Preisgünstig. Freundliches Personal. Kostenloser Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe. Frühstück zwar nicht sehr umfangreich, aber man konnte sich nehmen soviel man wollte.

Badezimmer verschmutzt. WLAN-Hinweis hängt noch vom Vorjahr da. Also ....2024 eintippen.

Modernes Bad, grosszügiges Zimmer, konnte gut abgedunkelt werden. Super freundliches und gesprächiges Personal

Personal und Vermieterin waren sehr freundlich. Eine vollausgestattete und große Küche steht zur Verfügung. Supermarkt und Pub genau vor der Tür. Trotz Hauptstraße sehr ruhig. Gemeinschaftsraum sehr groß. Für Surfer wohl eine traumhafte Lage.

Betten waren komplett durchgelegen und jede Feder zu spüren. Zimmer sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Keine Handtücher. Zimmer sehr kalt. Nur Einwegbesteck(?).

The crew was super nice to me when I was stranded here alone on Christmas. The staff are hospitable and helpful.

Good location! Had a nice view of the ocean from my window. It has a nice seating area out the back. The room was very clean and tidy. Had everything one might need. The mattress could have been a little more comfortable, but very happy overall! Good value for money

Very good location in Bundoran. Private room was simple but clean. Continental breakfast - cereal and toast included.

It felt like a lot of money for not very much. The bed was also very uncomfortable and the facilities dated and worn.

Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer nicht zur Straße. Es gab ein einfaches Frühstück. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich.

Es ist ein Hostel und man sollte nicht zu viel erwarten.

I had an excellent double room just for myself with bathroom en suite. The view was the best. The place was nice, my room was clean, and it was very well located. Good for the price I paid (it was not cheap, but affordable compared to other irish accomodations)

The breakfast was super simple, though good enough. My door and key lock was a nightmare, it would get stuck every single time. Maybe the common spaces could be a tiny bit cleaner. But not bad at all. Also the hot water was not available all the time.

The staff were great, very helpful. Location fab, on the main street.

A TV in the bedroom would have been appreciated.

Owner was very sweet and was there to let us in also after the check-in time, but I wouldn´t count on that. Room was good for a night. Living room was very nice, wide, with sofa and tv and games, would be nice for a longer stay. Location was ok for me because I had car.

Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing for me, many foods in shared fridge were expired long ago and it wasn´t fun to check through those. I can´t drink milk or meat so I only managed to make a sandwich with peanut butter, jam and banana.

Location suited well for a training session in the area. Nice cup of tea when I arrived from Galway. Good bus connections including early morning Local Links and Bus Eireann services to Ballyshannon and on to Donegal Town. Very happy with my visit.
