The generous breakfast is in a bright, beautifully decorated room with an outdoor option.

The facility here was top notch with great rooms, amazing breakfast, great sauna and cold plunge, great pool and good hot tub. Staff were great and got us from the tram to save us dragging our bags all the way there.

Das Zimmer im 4. Stock hatte eine hervorragende Aussicht, war sehr ruhig und sehr schön möbliert. Der Grundriss ist sehr angenehm und sinnvoll gestaltet. Das Hotel ist mit Geschmack saniert worden. Das Esssaal ist ein echtes Juwel. Das Personal auch sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Das Abendessen war auch extrem fein.

It was a beautiful location and overall an amazing stay. Breakfast was superb and our room (family suite) was so comfortable. The service overall was amazing. Everyone was so pleasant during our stay. Our kids also loved it because of the location and activities. Overall, we loved this hotel so much and will definitely stay again!

le petit déjeune manquait de saveur et de fraicheur. surtout les fruits (de la veille ?) Les prix excessifs des plats du restaurant Le fait que la chambre n'était pas encore remise en ordre à 15h00 (au retour de notre randonnée) les badges de la chambre qui ne fonctionnaient pas au vu du prix payé on n'imaginait pas ces dysfonctionnements.

Transport from the gondola to the hotel. No one there to answer the phone to get the golf cart to take my wife, who's in a wheelchair there.So I had to walk in the rain, pushing her.

A wonderful place in a peaceful village. The pool and spa were excellent.

The breakfast was very limited, even by European standards, and did not match the level of the place.

Amazing experience! We will be back!

An ethereal setting with spectacular Alpine views in a charming car-free village. Initial room disappointed, but the hotel accommodated a change. The scenery is unforgettable, even if the rooms don’t always match the setting.

Food was good but the menu was limited.

A acomocação é linda, cama ótima, banheiro espaçoso, chuveiro excelente. O café da manhã é ótimo, servido no restaurante do Hotel (que também vale a visita para comer os pratos deliciosos oferecidos no jantar e tomar um vinho). O Hotel tem a vista incrível, de tirar o fôlego. Já fui duas vezes e voltarei sempre que puder.

Fui no inverno e o aquecedor deu problema. Mas assim que comuniquei a recepção, o staff resolveu tudo em menos de 15 minutos.

Lage, schöner Spa und Möglichkeit im Sportzentrum zu Schwimmen, sehr freundliches Personal und wunderbares Frühstück. Wunderschön renoviert. Es war alles tipptopp!

Attention : les 2 piscines mentionnées sur Booking n'appartiennent pas à l'hôtel, mais font partie du centre de sport municipal, accessible à tous et auquel les clients de l'hôtel ont simplement un accès intérieur. Nous sommes donc très loin des piscines privées que l'on attend d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Par ailleurs, le spa ne correspond pas aux photos : il est minuscule et la salle de repos a la vue bouchée par un talus. Information importante non-précisée par l'hôtel : le spa est "tissue-free". Il faut y aller nu. Une serviette est mise à disposition mais n'empêche pas de voir la nudité des autres. Petite précision : il est interdit aux moins de 16 ans. Le pire a été la mauvaise foi de la réceptionniste qui, suite à nos critiques, a rétorqué que tout était indiqué sur leur site Web et qu'on n'avait qu'à vérifier ! Ce comportement est inadmissible : si on peut réserver sur Booking directement, toutes les informations présentes sur leur site doivent être reportées sur Booking. Ce n'est pas au client de croiser les informations !

Everything was perfect with a few small exceptions but they are not serious as for the most part everything was great.

- The uncomfortable door to the toilet in the room is shaped like a train door. It's nice but it makes a lot of noise and doesn't close. - New inconvenient trend at hotels where you are asked for a credit card. It's not something specific to this hotel, but nowadays when we all have phones, we practically don't carry physical cards anymore. The good part is that Apple Pay worked. - As there is no phone in the room, communication is done through a mobile app but when I sent a message with a question, no one gave me an answer. So somehow this app is pointless.

I absolutely loved this place. Obviously mürren is possibly the nicest village in the Swiss Alps but the murren palace is a gem. Massive history and now refurbished beautifully. Stayed in the modern block room 111 with two kids and it was fantastic. Very spacious, bunk beds for the kids, lovely facilities. Amazing views. The bar area was great, breakfast was very good. And of course it's in murren...

Light switches require a PhD in astrophysics to understand (or a try your best and press buttons until you are happy approach). Dinner was nice but not exceptional - I wouldn't necessarily eat there every evening. Find the suppenalp mountain restaurant for lunch - now that is a gem..

The decor was amazing. Loved all the special rooms on the first floor. Also enjoyed the sport facility but didn’t get a chance to enjoy the spa. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Le petit-déjeuner était excellent (variété, produits frais, gaufre à la demande, muesli, œufs brouillés, bacon, croissants différents pain, café divers et thés). Très beau spa. Belle salle de restaurant, repas varié (type bistrot) très bon. Accès piscine au centre sportif via un passage couvert. Jolie chambre bien décoré avec vue sur les montagne. Staff super sympa.

Beautifully refurbished hotel in Mürren with grand dining hall, fantastic views and friendly staff. Hotel is historic and has invested very recently in a well designed, elegant new style and added a lovely spa area to its facilities. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast buffet.

This is an absolutely perfect hotel. It is rich in history and all the staff are 5 star. The views are exceptional, I am throughly impressed!

Excellent breakfast in a beautiful room. Actually, it was the best experience of the whole stay. Unfortunately the spa wasn't open until quite late. I missed out on my planned spa after breakfast.

I booked it for La Belle Epoque 1874, to experience the old times just like in the Grandhotel Giessbach. Unfortunately, after the renovation, the La Belle Epoque-feeling was nowhere to be found. The reception, bar and rooms, well... everything was too modern (except the breakfast room, which was beautiful). Nice and high class, of course, but the atmosphere was of modern times. Pity, for an establishment with such a rich history.

Incredibly large and comfortable rooms with fantastic views. Food and service were excellent. Location near the train station can't be beat. A five star experience.

Our “Classic Double Room” was so beautiful and spacious with many amenities including cozy bathrobes and a balcony with a gorgeous view, very comfortable bed, separate living room with huge storage space and an extra half bath. The decor was warm and inviting and very elegant with beautiful walls and furniture. The restaurant offers excellent choices and the breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious! I can’t wait to come again some day!

The hotel is exquisite and absolutely beautifully renovated. It is great being able to use the alpine sports centre across the street which connects through a skywalk. The views were amazing of surrounding landscapes and waterfalls. The staff were incredibly courteous and nothing was an issue, amoungst the best I have encountered. It would have been nice to have a door between rooms in the suites when sharing with children though as an improvement. Do also be aware that one must take a gondola to get to the hotel and there is no direct parking, however the team will guide you well if need help.

This is one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at. Nestled between the Swiss Alps, this hotel strikes a balance between modern luxury and the charm of a mountain town chalet. The property was stunning with beautiful decor that feels high-end and boutique, and the staff are all so warm and accommodating. Every detail felt thoughtful and intention, and made our stay one to remember. I hope to return to Murren just so we can stay here again!

We stayed in the new building. We were amazed by the 6 balconies, amazing spa (3 saunas and cold plunge), and beautiful architecture. Our room looked brand new. Slippers and robes are provided. A variety of tea, nuts, and dried fruit is always available. The complementary breakfast is fantastic. You also get to use the Alpine Sports facility next door for free as part of your stay at the palace. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the tram station. Gimmelwald is a lovely 30 minute walk downhill and you can take the gondola back up to Mürren if you don't feel like walking uphill. Murren is a quiet carless city. It offers much more peace than Lauterbrunnen.

We were extremely happy with the Hotel Murren Palace. From the moment we arrived to when we checked out was first class service, from the front desk, restaurant and room service. The upgrade we received was fabulous, clean, comfortable, spacious. The views were breathtaking.

Die Renovation ist hervorragend gelungen. Modern, ohne das Klassische zu verlieren. Die "Palace Hall" ist umwerfend - Mürren, ohne dort diniiert zu haben, geht nicht. Das Personal macht teileweise fehlende Fachkenntnisse, die man in einem Palace erwarten würde, mit Charme und Humor mehr als wett. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl und gute aufgehoben. Unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Können wir wärmstens empfehlen.

Die Beleuchtung im Bad ist richtig misslungen. Da kann man mit wenigen Eingriffen nachbessern. Rasieren oder schminken ohne zusätzliche Taschenlampe geht fast nicht.

You will not find a more exceptional hotel in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The Palace is stunning, with 360 degree breathtaking views in every direction. Many rooms have balconies of these stunning views. The staff is wonderful and the amenities are excellent. Both their restaurant and bar are excellent, and the rooms are clean and updated. The town itself and walk down to Gimmelwald is so enchanting that we were constantly in a state of awe!! Small grocery store and all you need are in Mürren, along with extremely efficient cable car service.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at the Murren Palace Hotel. The hotel was outstanding with incredible ambiance; the welcoming staff was professional and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was impeccably clean and spacious while the restaurants and breakfasts were five stars. We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We had a fantastic experience with luxurious amenities, impeccable services, and excellent room views. The hotel is well-maintained and provided a safe and secure environment.

Spectacular views. Excellent staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Tasty breakfasts with a variety of food that set you up for activity filled days. The hotel has recently been renovated and has been finished to a high standard. We made use of the pool facilities after long days of walking. Our room was very spacious and we loved the whirlpool on the deck. We felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after three nights stay it felt like we had been there for a week. Would highly recommend.
