Araliya White House

We liked it there very much, we will be back! The rooms are nothing special but perfectly adequate. The breakfast was very tasty (Sri Lankan breakfast) and the owners very accommodating.

Maravillosa experiencia en Araliya, estuvimos solamente una noche y nos trataron genial. Habitaciones amplias y funcionales. Traslado desde el aeropuerto muy comodo. En general todo perfecto, repetiríamos.

A good stay, near to Airport. The host was good and helpful.

The room is very clean and has everything you need.. and very quiet. Is in a beautiful area, with a beautiful garden, and the sound of the birds make your stay welcoming. The best thing of this accommodation are the host. They are amazing and help you with everything you need. She is cooking amazing all types of dishes. They made me feel very welcomed. If you need they will also pick you up from airport.

Klidné místo od hluku okolních ulic, vstřícní a ochotní majitelé.

Vybavení ubytování. Chyběly skříně, poličky, věšák, sušák... Ještě, že byla v místnosti třetí postel, na kterou jsme si vše vyskládali.

Posizione relativamente centrale, anche se lontana dalle spiagge, ma una buona bia di mezzo verso l’aereoporto. La camera non era grandissima ma comunque decente e il climatizzatore era nuovo e funzionava benissimo. I proprietari erano molto gentili e ci hanno aiutato ad organizzare i trasporti.

Tanti insetti, ma penso sia normale essendo Negombo una laguna. La camera e il bagno andrebbe bisogno di una risistemata.

The host family is very friendly and welcoming, they allow us to use the kitchen and the wife of the owner helps us cooking tasty Sri Lankan food! The room was very clean and with A/C. Breakfast very recommend

The position is far away from the beach but close to airport (20min by tuk tuk)

La disponibilità dei proprietari che ci hanno preparato colazione, merenda e cena. Letti confortevoli. Doccia calda.

Camera un po’ piccola per 3 persone in viaggio

Struttura carina, bel giardino fuori per mangiare qualcosa. La signora gentilmente ci ha preparato una colazione take away perché andavamo in aeroporto alle 5.

La camera era semplice ma perfetta per un soggiorno breve e il personale gentilissimo. Al mattino la colazione era buona ed abbondante. In più, ci hanno aiutato tantissimo con le indicazioni per i nostri successivi spostamenti.

kein Moskitonetz (Moskitos aber da), schmutzige Wände, einige Flecken zum Bad hin und im Bad könnten Schimmel sein, der Außengang geht vor dem Fenster her, sodass das Zimmer ohne zugezogenen Vorhängen immer einsichtig ist kein Bild oder ähnliches an der kahlen Wand

溫馨的小院，住宿在房東家後方，還挺乾淨，唯一的缺點是蚊子多，有幾隻蚊子在房裡導致旅伴無法好好地睡覺🤭 房東一家很親切，早餐就是基本的西式餐點。 整體還算不錯☺️

Frühstück war etwas wenig und nicht so gut wie sonst

Hem havaalanından ilk gelişte, hemde ayrılırken konakladım. Ev sahipleri çok iyi, odalar temiz, kliması var. Kahvaltısı da yeterli. Muson fırtınası nedeniyle odada mahsur kaldığımızda bana akşam yemeği getirdiler. Çok ince bir düşünce.

Beklentileri gerçekçi tutmak lazım. Ülkede imkanlar çerçevesinde en iyi hizmeti sunmaya çalışıyorlar.

Everything was very good. Clean, comfortable and close to supermarket, restaurants and the airport. The internet was working very well. Warm water.

Het is een b&b weggestopt achter het woonhuis. Basic is te goed. Erg slecht onderhouden, is zeer dringend aan renovatie toe.

Very nice family place. Very kind and supportive. The owner answered many transportation questions i had on how to get to Kandy. They were kind enough to let me leave a bag in storage with them to pick up a month later while i travel in Sri lanka. Clean, comfortable room. Very Quiet location. Hot shower and good ac. Included breakfeast of eggs, toast, coffee and fruit. No local style food options within 500 meters so u might want to bring food, water and snacks/fruit with u. There is a supermarket about 500 meters away where i bought fruit for my dinner. They do have western food options nearby like pizza and fried chicken.

El hotel esta muy cerca del centro.El desayuno es muy bueno y completo. Nuestro avion era mut tarde por la noche y nos dejaron dejar las maletas durante el dia hasta que tuvimos que ir al aeropuerto.

Propere sobere kamer met goed werkende airco. Eigenaar kwam ons midden de nacht oppikken op de luchthaven. Typisch Sri Lankaans ontbijt gekregen. Goede uitvalbasis voor het verkennen van Negombo.

People are lovely, kind and attentive, the place is quiet and you can meet people from anywhere that is traveling Sri Lanka.

Close to a very westernised area (especially food options Pizza Hut, KFC etc), this didn’t work for me but may suit other people. Need to supply own toilet paper.

Good location and good property. Mr. Sanjeeva has made a good property in his home backyard, and the green garden and grass patch adds to the aesthetic appeal of the house. Good hosts and the family helped us with options to spend our evening in negombo. We wish we could spend more time in this property it would have been ideal for a full 2 days of stay.

Could be more clean, but considering all natural, it's bound to have insects and wall lizards, which is understandable, so no complaints.

Perfect stay when arriving or leaving Sri Lanka, 20 minutes from the airport for 1,000 LKR Tuktuk. Great location. Amazing breakfast. Super friendly owners. Clean, spacious and confortable full AC rooms.

Sanjeewa and his wife provided a warm welcome to Sri Lanka . I arranged a lift from the airport with them which is only 10 minutes away . Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning was lovely and always served with a smile . The room was clean ,cool and mosquito free . Sanjeewa was an excellent source of local information and helped me with my ongoing travel itinerary As a sole female traveller I felt safe here The overall experience was warm , friendly , clean , convenient and excellent value for money

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The place was clean, cozy, and very welcoming. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me secure my ticket for my upcoming trip to the Maldives. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to other travelers. Thank you Sanjeewa for the great hospitality!

In a quiet area

The bathroom floor was very slippery as the water does not clear.

Lovely hosts. Very helpful. Amazing breakfast and service. Very short trip to the airport and a short cheap tuk tuk trip to the beach. Can arrange a pickup from the airport with the host. We will definitely come back!

Everything was perfect.

The owners were kind and helpful. I was sorting out a challenging travel problem and they made it much easier logistically. The room was simple, but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good too. Very good value.

It was our first accommodation after arriving in Sri Lanka. We arrived very late, but the owner was willing to wait for us. It was nice to chat with him and the breakfast was also very good. We were satisfied.

Location is perfect. Close to the airport and the host was very helpful. He waited and picked me from Colombo airport around midnight. Room was clean and Breakfast was amazing. Lot of fruits and tea with srilankan Breakfast.

The hosts were quite helpful. The local breakfast was very good. We were provided with bottled water. The room was clean.

1. There was no hot water supply to the room, so we had to have cold showers. We were told that the rooms on the upper level were new and plumbing for the hot water was yet to be installed. 2. When we arrived, the room was like an oven. There does not appear to be any insulation in the roof. The air-conditioning struggled to cool the room down effectively during the day. There is no fan (which might helped a bit). 3. There is no wardrobe or hangers for our clothes. 4. In the room, we did not find the hot tub, bathrobe, slippers or safety deposit box that are mentioned in the room facilities.

Nice place with helpful owners. Quite far away from decent restaurants but close to the airport what was important to me.

The room was ok for what we paid. It was spacious enough and looked like on the pictures. We were really pleasantly surprised by the Sri Lankan breakfast, it was super tasty! And the staff was very friendly and helpful. A good place to stay before or after your flight.

The sheets and towels were stained and overall the place was a bit older and looked slightly rundown.
