The refrigerator is too noisy whole night, and the bed is near to the refrigerator. Then every 1-2 hours has a big “ Tiak Tiak” sound, can’t even sleep whole night

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Even though we checked in quite late, around 9 PM, they greeted us nicely, explained everything about our stay, and even helped my friend carry her luggage to our room. The staff thoughtfully brought the drinks and Japanese snacks directly to our room after we checked in, which was a very nice touch. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed, including toiletries. I also appreciated that the property was Muslim friendly, as they provided a prayer mat and indicated the Qibla direction in the room. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep.

There wasn’t really anything I disliked about the property, just couple of suggestions based on my personal preferences. The bathroom and toilet use kinda like frosted glass. Although we were staying with friends (same gender), we still felt a little self-conscious when using the bathroom, as we weren’t completely sure how much could be seen from outside. Having a bit more privacy would make the room even more comfortable. Another point is that the room felt a little compact. I understand that this is part of the Japanese-style design, and I actually love the overall concept and atmosphere. It would be wonderful if the same beautiful concept could be offered in a slightly larger room to provide a bit more space for guests.

Overall experience was very pleasant and good. Their service, cleanliness and welcome tea set was perfect, beyond my expectations. Green tea is nice with the delicious dessert. My mum love it so much especially the bathroom set up separated into two section shower and toilet. Netflix can be used which we can hang around in the room and relax. We will definitely stay here again when have future visit.

Room comfortable and cozy. Big enough for three of us. Bath tub is really big. My son love it.. Complimentary drink is really good.. we love our pomelo yuzu.. Breakfast was superb..

My bath tub view is neighbor rooftop. Not like what we imagine. Parking not so friendly for a long car.

The boutique hotel is nicely designed with its Japanese-styled with good facilities and compact interior designs with a window view overlooking a Japanese Zen garden. The Japanese breakfast set the next morning is sumptuous too, except the portion was a bit small. However, it was nice to be given a complimentary high tea with freshly made strawberry mochi.

The price of the hotel room advertised in Booking.com did not indicate clearly a taxable amount of SST charges statement, which is essential for the customer to know. It is understandable that this taxable amount is required, however it should be included as a clear statement “8% SST government tax is required”. Apart from this, there is a leak at the bathroom tempered glass wall whenever after shower, causing the bathroom floor to be wet.

Good complimentary welcome tea and breakfast. Great value and great range. Garden view was also pleasant and bathroom was large and set up well. Staff were all great and service was pleasant.

Some cosmetic wear and tear present - black stains on bedsheet, fridge was noisy, room structure made it a little bit cramp and difficult to move around with luggage present. Bathroom odour when fan is not on.

My room mini bar was down and sent for repair, hence I didn’t have a mini bar to store my drinks. But I guess this is just coincidental

Clean and friendly staff. They also offer complimentary breakfast, tea set and supper which lots of other boutique hotels do not have.

The room is very comfortable, just as what pictures have shown. My partner and I were worried about the actual condition but we turned out love the Japanese style very much. We would definitely choose to stay at this suite again if we visit Ipoh or Tambun in the future. We love the complimentary welcome drink as well. What a regret we didn't choose to include breakfast this time.

朝食があまりおいしくなかった。部屋が階段上がってすぐの部屋で、入口のドアのすぐ近くにベッドがあったので、夜中他の人の声や足音がしてあまり眠れなかった。浴室がとても広くて快適でしたが、その分部屋が狭かったので2人では狭く感じました。

Location is great. Worth with the price, complimentary hightea set and breakfast were nice. Although we took garden view room which the garden was opened for cafe visitors, but privacy still good enough.

Do expect that room smaller than your expectation, otherwise overall are very worth.

Perfect and peaceful environment with friendly staffs. Wheelchair & OKU friendly too. Delicious breakfasts and apart from that suitable for children/elderlies. Breathaking sceneries around the accomadatiom too.

Love the concept, feels like staying in a ryokan!

Unfortunately, I could clearly hear the guest in the next room conducting activities in the bathroom/toilet area, which has been very uncomfortable. I believe it may be due to poor sound insulation between the rooms.

1. A bit run down, my bed frame lining is torn n they use cellophane tape to stick it which also torn by itself. 2. 15min away from ipoh town. 3. Bad sound proof, outside noisy motorbikes sound n people talking sound can be heard clearly. 4. Relatively expensive for the facilities n room served.
