Reviewed Aug 9, 2026I really enjoyed my stay at Tulip Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. The location was also convenient and made it easy for us to get around Ipoh. Everything was well organised and exceeded my expectations.
Honestly, there was nothing major that I disliked during my stay. Everything was comfortable and well taken care of. I just hope the hotel can continue maintaining the same level of cleanliness and service in the future.

I stayed at Hotel Tulip Tambun and unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. The room was not clean, and there was visible mold on the wall near the floor. The bathroom heater was in very bad condition. While I was showering, the heater cover suddenly came off, which felt unsafe. At night, it was very noisy due to passing cars and barking dogs, so I couldn’t sleep properly. The TV was also not functioning as promised. Staff said it could connect to YouTube, but it didn’t work after several attempts. When I tried to look for assistance, the staff were often not available at the reception. I had already paid in full and couldn’t get a refund, so I had to tolerate the situation. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay.

Still have cob webs in ceiling and corners of the rooms and dirty rubbish surrounded near the building. There's a cockroach in the toilet and the bed has sunk. Not good for back spine.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2025The service apartment is very good, location is near to the Lost World Tambun. Only the balcony is not clean and we didn't dare to hang our clothes there. Also, there was a strange voice came from somewhere in the kitchen which was quite annoying. other than these, the apartment was fantastic.

Only 1 need complain. Smoke detector on top of fridge is low battery. Keep make noise "beep" every minute. So irritating. Please change it
