Les propriétaires étaient vraiment très gentils et attentionnés, l'emplacement par rapport à la réserve était nickel, la chambre propre et nous avons très bien mangé.

Tutto stupendo, dal personale veramente accogliente e disponibile, alla sistemazione che si trova a pochissimi minuti dall'ingresso del parco. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Abbiamo avuto l'occasione di cenare in questo posto, una delle migliori cene fatte in Sri Lanka cucinata dall'host. Abbiamo fatto anche il safari con Manu all'interno del parco ed è stata un'ottima scelta. Prezzo onesto, ci ha fatto conoscere nuove cose rispetto alla fauna presente nel parco ed è stato veramente disponibile durante tutto il safari.

.Rooms were nice, clean and spacious with an outside balcony . Food was delicious and there was plenty of food . The people were lovely . They provided a safari service . Each bed in the room had its own wall fan, so you could have the fan on the setting you wanted

Air con worked, but was a bit temperamental and one of the plug sockets wasn't working

Manoo is an absolute legend, great place to stay for a night or two and do the full day safari

It was my best stay in Sri Lanka! Best location, best food, best staff, clean and beautiful room! They kindly found a safari for me who was alone with discounts. I had no problem during my stay there.

They organised the safari for us. The dinner was yummy.

Should be a bench in the room to put the luggage on.

I would say that this was the best place to stay that we had in Sri Lanka so far. Best in many aspects: hospitability - everyone was was genuinely kind and welcoming, best and reasonably priced safari with great driver, excellent village safari with many birds and great knowledge shared of cultivations and peoples lives, best rice and curry we had so far. Location was just right by the park - you could see elephants just by looking out from the entrance.

The family who work so well together - all gave such amazing service with smiles. Wonderful food; fantastic safari experience with knowledgeable guidance from Kalpani and her father about the many different birds and animals we saw, plus an extra tour of the sugar cane fields and vegetable garden, and very helpful transport to nearest ATM. Also arranged onward transport for us to Ella. The dining gazebo was lovely. The frog pond beside our balcony/terrace was very entertaining. Comfortable beds and aircon. Good towels. I would definitely book to stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Sri Lanka.

Fantastic stay with brilliant hosts. Best food we have had all through our travels in Sri Lanka. Jungle Edge family were very hospitable and even took us on a tour around their farm, showing us all the different fruit and veg they grow. Giving us a lot of knowledge into sugar cane cultivation. Even getting us some delicious fruit from their trees.

I liked everything, this is my best accomodation in Sri Lanka. The room was more than standard, the food was better than in the best restaurants, Kalpani is such a sweet girl, very kind person. They also took me to safari for very good price. I am coming back to this place for sure. Highly recommended!!❤️

There are no negatives :)

The location is relatively close to the park entrance, and you can see one of the park's border lines, parallel to the Thanamalwila road, in front of the property. Behind the property is a mass farming land mainly used for sugar cane. A friendly host, gave us a wonderful experience, by taking us to his farm on his tractor and treating us well. He also offered us an exceptional safari ride at a reasonable cost and the experience was priceless.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jungle Edge Cottage Udawalawa. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, and the safari experience was unforgettable. Our guide was knowledgeable, and we were able to see incredible wildlife up close. Fishing was also my favorite activity, and I enjoyed it a lot. The staff were friendly and welcomed us like family, and the homemade food was delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and adventurous getaway!
