I do like a plug in a bathroom sink and maybe a bit more light above the sink. Also. If we knew you had a group booking we may have reconsidered our time to eat. Groups are totally indifferent to guests already seated and can be loud. This is a tough one to navigate as I do work in hospitality so understand.

We were welcomed very warmly by Karin at the reception who offered many great tips for our stay in the valley and our sightseeing in Zermatt. The hotel is brand new, the rooms are spacious and very modern. The interior decorations in the hotel are super cool, with chairs from old chair lifts, beautiful large photos of mountains and great artwork. The breakfast was superb and the restaurant on site serves wonderful food!!! It offers parking and we found it most practical to go by shuttle train to Zermatt and back. The prices seem cheaper than in the more pricy town of Zermatt. The hotel offers a lot to make their guests feel welcome and in the perfect location!

Leider empfanden wir das Personal beim Abendessen teilweise als wenig freundlich und nicht besonders aufmerksam. Hier hätten wir uns einen angenehmeren und zuvorkommenderen Service gewünscht.

Het parkeren is op zich prima direct naast/onder het hotel. Maar bij tussentijds een rit, kon je niet meer gebruik maken van de QR code en moest je dit regelen via de receptie. Lastig en makkelijk op te lossen, lijkt me. Kamer (nr 29) boven de keuken en s’avonds last van herrie en rooklucht

Prišli sme do Täsch tesne po zotmení a v hoteli nám ponúkli upgrade ubytovania - s tým, že nás vyvezú do hotela Alpen resort hotel & spa v Zermatt, do apartmánu s raňajkami a výhľadom na Matterhorn. A keďže sme ráno ušetrili čas, stihli sme využiť aj to SPA. :-) Vraj si chceli ponechať voľnú izbu dole v Täsch pre prípadných hostí, ktorí ešte prídu po nás, ale už by sa nedostali hore do Zermattu. Ďakujeme.

Väldigt hundvänligt, vattenskål och täcke till hunden på rummet. Fantastiskt frukost och hunden fick vara med i restaurangen. Bra garage i källaren.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Un buen hotel, moderno, con buen tamaño de habitación, y localización muy próxima a la estación de Tasch para desplazarse a Zermatt. Perfecto para llegar con tu vehículo, dormir y subir al día siguiente a Zermatt. La zona de Tasch no tiene particulares atractivos o encanto.
Mi habitación daba justo sobre unas obras en el propio hotel, por lo que durante más de una hora un martillo neumático estuvo taladrando también mis oídos, hasta que terminó la jornada de trabajo.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Das Hotel als solches war sehr gut. Sauberkeit top. Moderne und saubere Zimmer. Wir haben im Restaurant gegessen und es war mega fein. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, das Personal, alle Mitarbeiter, welche wir während unseres Aufenthaltes angetroffen hatten, waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gratuliere.
Wir haben zum Glück noch 3 Gutscheine bekommen ansonten, wären die 711 CHF pro Nacht "nicht in Zermatt sondern in Täsch" : Ohne Frühstück, Parking, Zimmerservice, direkt an der Hauptstrasse, Beleuchtung ins Zimmer die ganze Nacht und oberhalb einer Autowasch Anlage, welche schon um sechs Uhr morgens läuft, schon ziemlich überrissen, muss ich sagen. Es ist mir auch nicht klar, wesshalb die Terrassenbeleuchtung, die ganze Nacht die Zimmer erhellt? Ps: Die Kaffeekapseln und den Tee könnte man trotzdem mal auffüllen ;-)

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Schönes neues Hotel mit gemütlichen Zimmern und Parkgarage und sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Fast gegenüber ist die Bahnstation für die Zugfahrt nach Zermatt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet mit großer Auswahl. Gut besuchtes Lokal im Hotel.
Für die Poolbenutzung wäre ein Aufpreis zu zahlen gewesen.

Warme kamer, geen airco. Personeel zit onder het raam te roken en hard te bellen. ‘s avonds gaan felle lampen buiten aan die in de kamer schijnen. In de nacht klinkt er buiten continue een apparaat wat aanstaat. Combinatie maakt dat je ramen wel open moet doen maar dus dan fel licht, rooklucht en lawaai hebt.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026De kamer met kitchenette was uitstekend van inrichting en grootte. Zeer kwalitatieve afwerking, uitstekende bedden. Prima ligging om de omgeving van Zermatt te verkennen. Info bureau even verderop heeft ons heel goed geholpen.
Geen airco op de kamer moet tegenvallen als het warm is! Ontbijtbuffet : kaas en charcuterie staan niet in koeling maar liggen gewoon op bord. Geen info van de omgeving aan de balie.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026The Room was great enough space to unload all our cases and enough room for our dog, the bathroom and room was clean and the shower was big, nice balcony to sit and watch the world go past and the mountain views were great, Place was well presented, staff were great and freindly nothing was to hard, Thomas was really great very helpful as was Karin organising wine and chocolates for my wife's birthday, Hotel is close to other restaurants and shops hotel restaurant Da Vinci's was closed for lunch and dinner but opened for breakfast, which which had a great selection of hot and cold breakfast, Tasch railway for Zermatt ( Matterhorn) was a very short walk with a dedicated train running frequently to Zermatt, overall a very happy experience Hotel Porta Cervino,

Reviewed Apr 15, 2026Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, allerdings hätte ich mir etwas mehr Auswahl an Brot gewünscht. Sehr gutes Parkhaus. Auch die zur Hotelgruppe gehörenden Restaurants sind sehr empfehlenswert. Zudem gab es einen Gutschein für ein Gratisgetränk.
Früher gab es für Hotelgäste einen Transfer nach Zermatt rund um die Uhr für 7 CHF. Leider wurde dieses Angebot stark eingeschränkt und verkehrt nun nur noch zwischen 08:00–10:00 und 15:00–17:00 Uhr. Dadurch entstehen zusätzliche Kosten, was das Hotel insgesamt weniger attraktiv macht. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt werden wir daher eher wieder direkt in Zermatt übernachten.
