We found it difficult to get key. We were lucky cleaners came out and let us in. The lock on door of building made it almost impossible to get in. We had to get caretaker . Really needs new lock. That was the only downside

Reviewed Jul 2, 2025The apartment was lovely but I wouldn't describe it as a luxury apartment. Although, it was a lot nicer than most. Very modern kitchen and the apartment appears to have been recently renovated. The view was amazing (out front). You'd pay for the view alone. They have a smart TV which was great for watching Netflix. The couch was comfy but could do with some side tables for drinks. They had cooking oil, tinfoil, teabags, salt, pepper etc which was also very convenient.
The bath towels are tiny, more like hand towels. The main shower didn't work but they had it fixed promptly and I was very impressed with the speed at which this was rectified. The bed appeared to be cheap. It was noisy and flimsy. The bed sheets were just regular bed sheets you'd have in your own house, definitely didn't feel luxurious.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2024Loved the location, cleanliness, views were amazing and it was modern. Cot and high chair provided. So handy with a child. Owner was friendly and readily available to contact and we asked for another night last minute and got it. Parking outside the door.
Only problem we had was being so close to town there was a lot of noise from bars so kept our 2 year old awake a bit when she was trying to sleep. Our choice to pick something central but just to be aware if you have kids that are light sleepers! But we obviously still liked the location for other reasons. I didnt like the plastic cover in pillows. I understand its probably for hygiene but bit uncomfortable!

Reviewed Aug 7, 2024Location perfect, beach, waterpark, funfair, restaurants all in walking distance. Apartment clean,modern and had everything we needed.
The only thing that was a downside was right outside the apartment boy racers speeding up and down the road till all hours. Our kids couldn't get to sleep or were woken up by the cars. They were at it until 3am Saturday morning and from 8.30am Saturday for most of the day.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2023lovely apartment. newly refurbished. everything is brand new. lovely decor. opposite amusements, beach, town centre all few mins walk away. couldn’t have found a better apartment. Will be e recommending to all my family and friends and I’ll definitely be back.
it’s more constructive criticism really. a little information note about the apartment would be useful. we travelled with 2 young children who are in nappies. we wanted to get rid of the bins due to smell and weren’t sure were the main bin disposal was. also there was no spare black plastic bags in the press. there is a boost button for the shower outside the bathroom for the water. which I didn’t realise until I went to use the shower and the water was cold. The tv has no Irish channels, it’s all Netflix etc which is great but Irish channels would be a nice added extra. Really just a helpful note about the apartment would be great. I’ll know for again but just for future guests.
