Reviewed Oct 18, 2025Comfortable and clean room. Host was very friendly and helpful - made us feel at home. Tasty, fresh pastries and yoghurt for breakfast. We enjoyed wandering to the beach to see the sunset - Fiumicino is a beautiful place.

Geen probleem, maar de borden, het bestek en het kopje is allemaal van plastiek.

We found the owners to be very unhelpful. The option of leaving our luggage for a short while after departure was answered with a very curt " check out is 11. Very bad English ". Breakfast was all plastic disposable plates, bowls and utensils. Windowless room. Tiny bathroom, I couldn't close the shower door when I was in there. The website said cafe and bar ...but there was none

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Stefania and Francesco were incredible hosts! Very communicative and very helpful with arrangements. They provided us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant and arranged a return trip to the airport for a very reasonable fee, actually cheaper than what an Uber/taxi would charge. We requested a 5:00 am checkout and they accommodated very nicely and Stefania actually got herself out of bed that early and provided us with a nice continental breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again!
The only potential drawback was that the neighborhood felt a little seedy, not well lit for an evening walk. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2025I had a great experience staying in Fiumicino. The owner was super supportive and went above and beyond they helped me get a taxi early in the morning and even offered breakfast. Next time, instead of heading straight to Rome, I’ll definitely stay here longer and take time to enjoy the nearby beach. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Sep 2, 2025We were welcomed really warmly and they were super accommodating even tho we were late ! Everything is nice - the house is really close to the harbor and beach , just an easy 5-10 min walk. I liked that breakfast was included- super fresh and delicious bakery goods that change every morning. I would definitely visit again.
The walls are not soundproofed so you can hear a lot of "outside" noise but it's a quite area so it's not to bad.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025Abbiamo soggiornato a La Darsena dopo un lungo viaggio in aereo con arrivo a Fiumicino. La posizione è ottima relativamente all'aeroporto, in 10 minuti in macchina/taxi siamo arrivati. La cosa che ci ha più colpiti è stata la gentilezza degli ospiti e la comodità della camera. Gli ospiti hanno sempre risposto rapidamente alle nostre domande, e sono stati estremamente cortesi nell'accoglierci. La colazione era ottima e abbondante, non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla.
Non abbiamo avuto esperienze negative. L'unica pecca era che gli ospiti offrono un servizio di navetta, ma lo abbiamo saputo tardi e non abbiamo potuto approfittarne il giorno del nostro arrivo. Il giorno dopo lo abbiamo usato per andare a prendere il treno all'aeroporto di Fiumicino.

La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e la camera era spaziosa e fornita (asciugamani, un cuscino in più di cui abbiamo usufruito e dei piccoli campioncini in bagno). Siamo stati una notte, abbiamo fatto colazione, anche questa contenuta ma ce n'era per tutti i gusti. Decisamente consigliato.
Unico punto a sfavore, ma che può essere una mia preferenza, l'assenza del bidet nel bagno in camera si è fatta sentire, ma capisco la decisione per motivi di spazio.

Short ride to the airport, and they even offer an airport transfer to make life easier. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and breakfast is included. We will definitely be using this more as a stopover on our way in and out of Rome.

The Bed and Breakfast was exactly what we needed: very clean room, comfy bedding, and A/C. My review is similar to other reviews who highlighted the warmth and kindness of the hosts. We needed to be in Rome the day prior to a long international flight leaving early in the morning from FCO.

Bathroom had toothbrush’s and toothpaste, as well as soap and shower gel. Great air conditioning. Quick bus from the airport and like a 10-15 minute walk to the beach.
