Maison ancienne en bois, grande chambre très agréable. Emplacement central. Le coffre shop en bas est confidentiel mais le café y est délicieux.

Stare in una casa storica in pieno centro, piuttosto che in un hotel, per me è un valore aggiunto. E qui l'atmosfera che si respira è proprio di vera autenticità, limiti compresi, ovviamente. Comunque la camera è ampia e doccia e wc sono in due ambienti separati. I letti sono comodi e c'è una piccola cucina a disposizione per prepararsi la colazione.

Nulla, il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo.

Le logement est propre et spacieux. Il y avait combien de quoi se laver (shampoing et gel douche). C'était calme. Et même des petits gâteaux et des sachets pour se faire du café. La localisation est extrêmement bien placée pour visiter tout à pied. Je conseille

La ubicación muy buena y la habitación amplia. La cama era cómoda.

El aire acondicionado hacía un ruido como un tractor, imposible enchufarlo si estabas en la habitación. Ruido insoportable. Sin aire acondicionado no se podía estar. En definitiva, mal. No hay instalaciones como tal, tienen una recepción bonita donde no hay nada. El personal no te ayuda, ni asesora con nada. Te dan la llave y casi ni te llevan a la habitación. Para lo que cuesta, no lo recomiendo.

The place was quiet and away from the noise of Jonker Street.

Just wished that air cond was a bit colder. Otherwise all was good.

La climatisation fait beaucoup de bruit, et n'est pas très froide. Les linges de douche fournis sont des linges jetables, qui sont horribles (ne sèchent pas bien et se désagrègent...). De plus ils n'ont pas été changés après 1 jour. Seulement un reste de gel douche, + 1 petit sachet par personne Personnel pas très présent sur place (mais nous étions pendant les vacances)

位置好！闹中取静。离热闹的鸡场街很近，却在安静的巷弄里。房东热情周到，也是位咖啡师，经营着楼下的咖啡店。马来西亚本地豆值得尝尝。

空调过于老旧，开机后的噪音很大。影响睡眠。

Awesome! The place looks like exactly in the photos. We had a really good 3 nights stay. We are really happy. The place is squeky clean and the aminities are good. The location is fantastic of course. The is the reason we chose this place. Very close to the "Banggunan Merah" as the local called it, which means it is close to everything, the river, the rickshaw, etc. Host is really friendly and responsive. Service was 10/10. They also operate a nice coffee shop below.

1.The room, bed and bathroom was clean, comfortable, big spaces, aircond is good. 2.Near to the river with nice colourful lamp - walking distance only to the beautiful surrounding place in bandar hilir.

1.Parking is hard to find and very narrow space by roadside. 2. Maybe owner can provide a coffee, lite beverage inside the room. 3. Most halal food place is quite far and just have a lot of alcoholic cafe, pub near the homestay. 4.Disposable Bath towel not suitable as it is too thin. Not absorp the water 🫤

Had the place to ourselves. Didn’t see much of the staff or other guests. Had the place to ourselves. It was quiet and nice. Big room with a balcony for our kids to get away.

J'ai aimé le silence dans la chambre (à part la climatisation), ainsi que l'espace de la chambre. Il y a des travaux, mais ça a l'air sympa après. Les autres backpackers étaient aussi sympa pour discuter,

Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre, et la climatisation a de la peine à refroidir la chambre. Je l'ai mise en route avant de sortir le soir, pour être +/- Ok en rentrant et dormir. Le petit-déjeuner: le propriétaire m'avait donné son adresse de café pour le matin, mais le dimanche, il est fermé ! Donc j'ai dû aller ailleurs.

It’s very comfortable and cozy. The homestay preserve the house very well, very clean and tidy.

Difficult to find parking nearby. But owner did shared where to find parking, which is quite helpful for us.

We parked our car front hotel in parking lot and car get scratches. Cabinet is dusty

Huge and comfortable room, great location, right at the heart of Jonker Walk! The staff is very responsive and friendly as well. Very good for the price, will come back again :)

It's an old house, so the cleanliness might not be the best, but for a 1-2 night stay, it's great!

Fantastic location. And when I called the contact number for help, they responded immediately.

At the moment — so this is going to change - the whole downstairs is being done up, so it’s basically a building site. There was no one in the building but me. But! The room itself was fine.

如果没有小孩比较方便，适合年轻人。有小孩的话还是租民宿比较合适。

房间没有热水壶，要去外面煮和装。

-water quality is not good (seems water tank is not clean, don't feel comfortable after shower) -air con is not strong but okay

This was supposed to be a relaxing short getaway with my two boys — a chance to enjoy the charm of Melaka together. We purposely booked a place near Jonker Street, hoping for a pleasant stay with a river view and the opportunity to enjoy a night walk along the vibrant streets. Instead, the experience turned into something truly disturbing and frightening. We made the booking during lunch and decided to drop by the premises after arriving in Melaka. But as soon as we arrived, something felt wrong. The building looked deserted — quiet, with no signs of life or activity. We rang the bell multiple times, but no one answered. It felt like we were standing in front of an abandoned property. We tried calling the number listed on the website countless times, but there was no response. Much later, the owner finally returned our call and casually informed us that the café downstairs had moved out — something that should have been clearly stated in the listing. That lack of transparency already made us uncomfortable. After our visit to Encore Melaka and dinner, we returned to the property in the evening, hoping things would be better. But what we encountered next was shocking and deeply unsettling. While the street outside had lighting, the corridor leading to the premises was in complete darkness. No lights, no security, no welcoming signs. The atmosphere was silent and eerie. What made things worse was that there were homeless individuals sleeping right in the corridor near the entrance to the property. I was with my two boys, and in that moment, I felt scared — not just uncomfortable, but genuinely unsafe. It felt like a scene from a horror movie, not a family vacation. The place looked and felt completely uninhabitable. We had no choice but to cancel the booking immediately. We contacted the owner again to request a refund, but were completely ignored. No apology, no accountability, no response at all.

地理位置好。不远处还有一个超级好的50米标准游泳池，深水区水深大约三米多深度，非常爽。

Tolle Lage, schönes Zimmer. Preis-Leistung gut. Gastgeberin freundlich.

Es gibt viele Mücken und keine Moskitonetze. Die Klimaanlage ist nicht sehr stark, dementsprechend warm waren die Nächte. Der Abfluss des Waschbeckens war total verstopft - immerhin bekamen wir als Entschuldigung vier Getränke und durften unser Gepäck noch etwas länger im Zimmer lassen.

Die Kommunikation war sehr gut. Für ein kleines Problemchen wurde sofort eine Lösung gefunden. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig. Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt Geschirr/Mikrowelle/Wasserkocher/Kühlschrank und einen Wasserfilter.

Super mooie homestay! Ideale locatie, vlakbij het centrum en toch rustig. Alles was voorzien, in de gang ook een frigo ter beschikking. Bij vragen konden we via Whatsapp ook altijd bij de owner terecht.

Everything was fine. Homestay is very cozy and clean. Jonker Walk is only a few minutes away.

Location was very close to river and food restaurants. Near to Walker Night Market. Walkable distance to Museum and many sites.

We loved our stay at Mori Jonker in Malacca ..the homestay is very close to Jonker walk and the river...the building is an original wooden house in a very quiet neighborhood in the Chinese quarter...has wooden floors ..a communal shared kitchen and sitting area for guests..a lovely coffee shop on the ground floor..owner very friendly..he even invited us to pick us up for a night out eating at a hawker stall...we enjoyed our stay at Mori Jonker very much ... Malacca and Mori gave us the most enjoyable time xx

Nice little hotel in a historical building, huge room and clean, also great location.

The stay could have been perfect. However, there's no service nor staff and no one is gonna answer your messages. You only get automated answers, where they even say you can always reach out to them. The WiFi did not work the first day and there was only warm drinking water throughout my whole stay. Regarding checkout I received two different massages with 11 and 12 am, so not sure what's correct, since you can't ask anyone. I'd also recommend to bring your own body soap, as the one here doesn't smell good.

Room 1 stairs handle loose. Can add a side guard at the stairs for safety concerns. The bathroom is not very clean and can do better.

At first, I honestly didn’t expect much from the apartment we booked in Mori. I was quite worried and so was my family .. you know how online photos can be sometimes 😅. But the moment we reached and stepped inside the room… wow! It was beyond our expectations! The place was clean, cozy, and honestly way better than we imagined. Super comfy and nicely set up ...we were really impressed.Totally recommend if you re planning a trip to Melaka.
