What a beautiful spot with an amazing view and direct access to the beach. Breakfast was lovely.

The room had all amenities but was a trifle small and an awkward shape.

Exquisite views over looking the ocean and a quiet beach. But most importantly, the service was excellent! I was on a work trip to Saldanha and my mother joined me to see the flowers. Upon arrival she wasn’t feeling 100% so she thought it best to get her own room. Nicole was extremely helpful and arranged a room right next to our original room so that my mum was just next door. In the morning I went off for meetings until lunch time whilst my mum remained at the property. Tania’s service was amazing. She looked after my mother. She was kind, had a lovely sense of humour and was incredibly hospitable. Crystal Lagoon Lodge should be very proud of the level of service of their staff and Ronald was also very helpful at checkout.

Stairs were a bit steep for older people.

Wirklich eine super Sicht vom Zimmer, man überblickt den ganzen Strand- Top. Man kann direkt von der Rezeption an den Strand, besser geht nicht. Betten auch bequem. Badezimmer im Zimmer integriert, wie schon oft beschrieben war es unmöglich zu Duschen ohne Überschwemmung- dadurch sind auch die Scheiben schnell beschlagen (wir waren im Winter da).

Uns hat das nichts ausgemacht, aber es gibt keinen Aufzug. Daher für Menschen mit Behinderung nicht geeignet. Und das Frühstück war - mit Abstand- das Schlechteste während drei Wochen Südafrika.

I really enjoyed the breakfast and the views overlooking the beach — phenomenal! The location was perfect and the aesthetics were amazing. Loved that it was very close to everything and easy to get around. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Our room on the 3rd floor did not have any heating.It was a cold night and we asked for a gas heater from 1st Floor(reception).Gas heater did not ignite so that was unfortunate.

The receptionist was very helpful she really went the extra mile was not happy with the room she gave us another room with a sea view was very impressed thanks Charity

No transparency / heads up or notice about how food works on site. Establishment is ill prepared for emergencies - guest had an accident on site our first evening and the staff were completely nonchalant about it. Guests had to help the person.

It was clean and on the beach

The stairs and some guest didn’t lock the front door when they went out. Because when we got back from dinner the door was unlocked and all the vehicles were parked gone. This is also dangerous even if we were in a 24 hour security area. Then there was the door to our room that could be seen through around the door frame. The part of the door’s inner lock was visible and that’s a huge safety hazard and concern. There was no information provided online or by staff what time and where the breakfast was. I had to send a WhattsApp and top of that there was mould on one of the bread slices. I can only imagine that all the bread was old. Water for tea was cold and I had to warm my tea in the microwave. The last thing the towels can be more white and softer.

We are an senior couple and the stairway was a little troubling to get to the first floor. Maybe a comment about stairs for the elderly on the booking sheets.

I would highly recommend booking into this absolute gem of a lodge. From the first friendly greeting, to the excellent dining service, the Crystal Lagoon Lodge certainly does deliver a memorable experience. Nice safe parking and outstanding views from the balcony as well.

Maybe just the shower, no door so floor was extremely wet after each shower but there is room service

Waking up to the crashing of the waves on the rocks, ending the day with beautiful sunsets over the ocean and the tranquil environment all added to an enjoyable experience. The breakfast was served in a very tasteful and professional manner; the room was comfortable and spacious with personal touches well noted and appreciated. An added bonus was the offered help with luggage up the stairs, and the friendly staff.

It was very peaceful, Loved the sitting area and the view from the bedroom was phenomenon. Very quiet area and there are two restaurants by the beach, so you can literally walk to get lunch or dinner.

Everything about this place is amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful, the views are stunning, and falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing is simply unforgettable. It truly ticks every box 😁

The idea of having to leave the room to warm up food,especially with the microwave located in the middle of the dining area—felt a bit inconvenient and awkward.

The stairs were a bit off a challenge, especially if you wish to visit as an elderly person. A lift/chairlift will be very beneficial for business and guests alike.

The attentiveness & discipline of the Staff especially the overnight supervisor.

View was excellent, breakfsat was perfect, room was clean and neat. Shower need some attention when shower the whole floor gwt wet. Otherwisw will stay there anytime. Instructions was clear and easy to find the place

Die Lodge liegt in einer "gated community", Sicherheit wird über einen PIN-Code am Gate mit Führerscheinkontrolle gewährleistet; an der Unterkunft selber befinden sich Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Die Zimmer haben einen phantastischen Meerblick (die Fotos entsprechen der Realität). Über das Hotel hat man direkten Strandzugang - der Strand ist ausgesprochen sauber. Wlan problemlos, Sauberkeit im Zimmer sehr gut, die Zimmer haben eine gute Grösse.

Das gebuchte Frühstück ist einfach und die Auswahl nicht sehr gross. Wer schnell weiter möchte, isst gut in der Lodge, wer ein bisschen Zeit mitbringt sucht sich etwas in der Umgebung. Von der Lodge fährt man in kürzester Zeit in den Westcoast National Park. Achtung: die Lodge hat keinen Lift. Wer - wie wir - im 4. Stock untergebracht ist, sollte mit Gepäck oder einer Beeinträchtigung nicht auf einen Lift angewiesen sein.

Beautifully situated overlooking the beach, lovely breakfast, perfect service and very friendly staff. Our room was spacious with very comfortable beds. This has definitely become our favorite place to stay in Langebaan!
