Riad Bahia BenSaleh

Consigliatissimo, torneremo sicuramente!

I enjoyed the variety of seating areas, really loved the roof. We ran out of hot water at one point and host came at night immediately to fix it - never ran out of hot water again. Walking distance to most things. Fans and heaters provided and both were needed during our stay in May. Decent wifi. 2 showers, 2 toilets.

Bathrooms and sinks are really small. Would have appreciated a warning about how to find/get to pick up spots for ubers or day trips. Arranged a ride to the airport via host and they were not on time, thankfully the host came by and called people to rearrange, but that made us nervous.

El apartamento es muy bonito y amplio. Estaba todo limpio. La ubicación es buena.

Struttura pulita, con tutti gli accessori necessari. Buona colazione e persone gentilissime.

Our family had a perfect stay at Riad Bahia. Tima is such a great host, very responsive, welcoming and helpful. She was flexible about our check in time and helpful with anything we needed. The Riad itself is very clean and beautiful with traditional furnishings and decor. It is down a quiet alley but still in the heart of the Medina, and easy walk to everywhere you would like to go.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Bahia Bensaleh in Marrakesh. The location is absolutely ideal—right in the heart of the Medina, making it incredibly convenient to explore the souks, main attractions, and local restaurants, all just a short walk away. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible support from Tima, the operator. She was truly outstanding—super helpful, efficient, and always available to assist with anything we needed, from local tips to organizing transportation. Her warm and welcoming approach made our experience even more enjoyable. The riad itself is perfect for groups, with spacious rooms and plenty of communal areas to relax and spend time together. The rooftop is a dream—offering stunning panoramic views over the Medina, both during the day and at night when the city lights up. It was our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

accogliente e spaziosa, ben organizzata, terrazzo super!

The location and very local

Rhw water from the shower was very Limited

Location was great. Lovely roof terrace.

3 bathrooms was an exaggeration. Bedrooms very small

It was a real pleasure communicating with Tima both before and during our stay. Tima arranged everything so that we were met at the airport and ferried to the riad, even though we arrived close to midnight. She also was super helpful in trying to arrange car rentals etc. One of the highlights of our stay was when she arranged a delicious home cooked meal (tagine) for us at the riad - cooked by her and her mom - which we enjoyed on the rooftop terrace. The riad itself was very comfortable - we loved the terrace - and was very conveniently located close to Jmaa Al Fnaa.

It was a little hot even in the riad - but that's what happens when you travel to Morocco in the middle of the summer. Lesson learned :) We'll be back sometime, but in a different season for sure.

Riad Bahia's contact person, Tima, was truly a key component to the success of this trip. She was available the entire time whenever we had a question or need and went out of her way to help with no expectations whatsoever. A genuinely amazing human being. The Riad is in an excellent location with access to everything! We spent every morning with coffee on the rooftop patio (we even managed to rise early one day to enjoy the sunrise (and roosters)).

The beds are quite hard and it could be cleaner.

Very centrally placed. We booked transfers to and from the airport- impeccable coordination.

Space utility though this is culturally different and not a criticism.

The owner was very attentive throughout our stay. Also, the location is right in the middle of the Medina.

They provided slippers (the single-use kind), but it was clear that they had been used and for some reason they were placed on top of the bedside tables even though the soles were dirty. The hot water never worked in the shower. I waited in the cold for a long time (it’s winter) but I ended up giving up for fear of getting sick.

What a stay! I must first mention how exceptionally helpful the host Tima is, she stayed in touch throughout the duration of our stay and nothing was too much trouble. Her family showed us around the riad on our arrival, and had tea and biscuits ready for us which was a lovely touch. The location of the road is superb. While it's close to the hustle and bustle of the medina, the street itself that the riad on is quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace, where we could listen to the calls to prayer, and music from Jemaa el-Fnaa, while enjoying our breakfast or evening tea. The riad was especially spacious for us, it was important to us that we booked somewhere with a kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped. We will certainly be in touch to stay again when we come to Marrakech next time 😊

Great time at Riad Bahia, the host was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She helped us book several experiences, and when some of us were unwell, helped us with information on medicine. Extremely gracious host, and the location was in the middle of the old city that made it easy to walk and see major sites.

Beautiful riad in a great location. The most amazing and helpful host too

Everything

The water system was quite confusing as the hot water often comes out too hot and as I turn the cold water on it gets too cold, but it seems to be a common problem in Marrakech.
