Nous sommes arrivés avec nos valises devant l'établissement. Notre demande de location avait été approuvée. 2 jours avant nous avions envoyé notre heure d'arrivée. Il s'est avéré que l'établissement était fermé. Nous avons contacté le propriétaire q un i nous a dit que c'était fermé et qu'il ne savait pas quand il rouvrirait. Nous n'avons eu aucune information de cette fermeture et le propriétaire n'a même pas cherché à nous aider à trouver une alternative. Nous étions à la rue. Comme en plus, c'était un long pont il y avait beaucoup de touristes Vietnamien. Tout était complet. Heureusement, nous avons fini au bout de 2 heures aidés par les locaux à trouver un homestay disponible. Ce Monsieur n'a aucun respect de sa clientèle. S'il pense réouvrir, nous déconseillons fortement cet établissement au vu du manque d'empathie et de considération du propriétaire envers sa clientèle.

L’établissement à côté est en rénovation donc de 7h à 16h il y a du bruit.

The host was excellent and very accommodating. Fresh breakfast every morning, with a great range of local and western to suit tastes. Would highly recommend and we will be back! Short trip into Hoi An and very close to the beach. On the quieter side of the beach which suited us and fair few restaurants closeby.

The pool and the friendly service

What a true hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. Kim, the host, is absolutely wonderful, funny, welcoming and with a brilliant sense of humour. She teased me a little and I honestly found it endearing. It made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. My partner and I booked the private pool accommodation and it exceeded every expectation. The bed was huge and so comfortable, and the pool was spotless, perfect after a hot and humid day exploring Hà Nội. Breakfast was simple but home-made and delicious, a great way to start each day. Kim can even organise tailored clothes if you are interested, and the quality is amazing. The accommodation is just outside the main town, but the little village has a great mix of local and western food, from super cheap eats to five star dining, so you never feel far from what you need. This place really is everything you want from a hidden gem: comfort, character and a host who makes you feel like more than just a guest. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

Struggling to find something. Maybe the TV.? It would be nice to be able to watch Netflix or alike but could only work out to access YouTube.

Amabilidad del personal del hotel. Cerca de los restaurantes de la playa y sitios de masajes. El aire acondicionado funciona bien. Tiene nevera y caja fuerte en la habitación. Desayuno a elegir el día anterior un plato + bebida. Habitación amplia con gran ventanal, piscina privada de tamaño adecuado pero con mucho cloro.

La puerta de entrada es de cristal opaco y las cortinas dejan pasar la luz asiq en cuanto amanece hay luz en la habitación. Se oye mucho ruido de la carretera aun con la puerta de la terraza cerrada. Cama no muy cómoda. Almohadas demasiado altas.

Great breakfasts, friendly hosts, plunge pool on the balcony. Living like a local.

Sometimes hard to get a grab into an bang as the fare was too short. Can be annoying when the temp is 37. Phoung our host was happy to help if he was around.

A little too far from Hoi An for us, bathroom was rather dark and the water pressure a little low

We loved the breakfast, privacy & it was quiet. It was easy to walk to the beach & get a Grab into the ancient town.

We had a hiccup on arrival with the credit card facility not working & needing to pay cash & our private pool was empty. Things were rectified within 24 hours, though.

Lovely spacious room. Great location out of main Am Bang which suited us. A short walk to restaurants and the beach. Pool was great for cooling down. Breakfast pre-order the day before. Delicious. A short taxi ride into Hoi An. A nice stroll into Am Bang main beach. Thank you

The tables and chairs at breakfast were a bit awkward to eat comfortably at.

I can't imagine more hospitality and openness than we received from Kim, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and our little son remembers with love - THANK YOU SO MUCH. The accommodation is incredibly clean with a great pool to ourselves and a lovely sitting area. The sea is within 3 minutes walk even with a stroller:-) Hoi An town is a 7 minute drive away, excellent and quiet location with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Moreover, with the possibility to have your dress, suit or shoes tailor made...you simply can't find a better place for a quiet holiday near beautiful places and the sea...

The pool on the balcony was great! Easy walk to the beach. Staff were lovely.

Little confusing on Booking.com, as the same hotel is on under 2 different names and the address is different to the website. Luckily the hotel sent us the correct address.

They called a driver who picked me up from the airport, he was supper nice. Brought my luggage and they pit it in the room. I had to stay in the center for meeting. This was nice!

Everything. I booked specially the room with the private swimming pool on the terrace on the secound floor, they gave me another one. In which the toilet was broken, the shower old and overall not very clean. Towels dirty and old. They offered airport transfer didn’t say how much would be. They didn’t made any discount in the end for the inconvenience. So they don’t care if you are happy or not. Made me a breakfast, but was noting special - supper cheap products. Noting for the money you spend comparing to the rest of beautiful spots and nice people around. Disappointed but I wish them all the best and may they improve in future.

We could not get in touch with anyone to check us in and although we went to the location, the entrance takes you straight to a dirty toilet, dirty pools and a very unwelcoming environment. We never checked in and found somewhere else to stay. The house did not contact us until we didn't check in by the end of the day.

Really great place to stay, nice quiet beach 5 minutes walk away. private pool was amazing for relaxing when it's too hot for the beach! Will be returning for sure.

Having a private plunge pool was heaven

Location, loved being near the beach, but a bit of a distance from amenities. Booking.com address doesn’t match actual address. Made it difficult for the taxi driver.

Lovely private pool… not big, but enough to cool down after a hot day. Huge bed… big room. About a 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants.

Breakfast was average at best. Ants in room which got into everything! Shower not powerful and often not hot.

Fantastic stay here! Very lovely friendly owner, huge spacious rooms with aircon and comfortable bed, as-well as your own private pool on the balcony which was wonderful! The breakfast in the morning had lots of options so were spoilt for choice. Hotel is close to the beach and lots of restaurants / bars a short walk away, or a quick ride to get to the old town. Wonderful stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay out at Hidden Gem. A short bike ride to many other attractions (rice fields, water buffalo, café, restaurants). Beach is a 3 min walk. The staff are very friendly and cook you a delicious breakfast each morning ( you choose from menu items the day before). Highly recommend the ginger tea, mango juice, fried egg and salad inside banh mi. We had this every morning, it was soooo good). Loved our room. Lots of space and natural light. Comfortable bed. Having a private pool was convenient for constant reprieve from the heat. We would stay here again. Tip: Message host for correct address to give your taxi as our taxi took us to the address given in Booking.com and it is incorrect ( the correct address is just around the corner).

Everything was amazing from the room (with our own private pool- sensational), staff and location! Absolutely beautiful hosts and very helpful with a delicious breakfast every morning! We love the close proximity to the beach and all the area has to offer. We hope to be back very soon!

The hosts were super nice. I had some issues with the AC and they acted on it as soon as possible. Plus they offered help with pretty much anything a traveller might be looking for: renting scooters, laundry etc.

Mostly satisfied except for 2 cases. I asked them to do my laundry, however, it was more expensive than I would have expected, and I wasn't that happy with the result either. And there was one morning, when I had to wait for my breakfast for about 15-20 minutes compared to what we agreed on the day before, and I had to rush afterwards as I was running late.

This was a last minute booking through Booking.com because A Bang Cocovillas cancelled our reservation just days before we arrived. Kim, the owner, took very good care us. She arranged a ride from the airport, had bicycles delivered The Hidden Gem and arrange taxis for us.

The property is located 200 meters from the beach. The room was very comfortable and had a big balcony. We enjoyed our stay at Hidden Staff and the host was so accommodating and friendly.

Location, just 5 minutes of walking distance from beautiful beach.

Great location a few minutes’ walk from the beach, and a 15 minute Grab ride to the Old Town. Lovely staff, especially Kim, who is also an excellent tailor and made some beautiful clothes for us. We had our own swimming pool which was perfect for a quick dip and our room was spacious and comfortable. It didn’t have a safe in it, but one was brought when we asked. Good wifi and aircon. Good breakfast options: pineapple or banana pancakes, omelettes, scrambled eggs and various Vietnamese dishes.

The room we had booked was unavailable (which we didn’t find out until we arrived), but actually the one we were given was better, apart from not having the sea view that our original room had.

Lovely private pool off the bedroom and location is a 5 min walk to the beach and near some nice restaurants and cafes. Tasty breakfast.

Hidden Gem lives up to its name .. great location close to the beach just out of the action and roadworks in An Bang… Ms Kim is a lovely host very helpful friendly and kind . We had a 1st floor room with a pool .. very cute and pool was a great addition . Generous breakfast too 😋 highly recommend .

Everything - Family that owns it are amazing. Very accommodating and great breakfast. - very quite ( would have stayed here longer) - private and about 2 km from everything in both directions.

We had a lovely time! The owners and staff are so helpful and friendly, they even helped me by picking up a cake at a bakery. The breakfast (especially the Pho) is great and the room was very nice and clean. Comfortable beds and a balcony with nice view. The lady is very good at tailoring so she also made me and my partner some very nice clothes!

Such a loving place... As our hotel hostess said: just have a rest! That's Vietnam I know and love. The homestay is the best we visited this time in Vietnam. Highly recommended! Brilliant cleanliness, tasty breakfast, big comfortable room. A huge balcony with a seaside view also had sunbeds, a table, and chairs. We appreciated the homestay's location: quiet district and almost empty beach (5 minutes walk). We usually choose the beach place with a restaurant or cafe service, it's a great pleasure when you can order juice or some food. There were several shops nearby with attractive prices. We also used laundry and bicycles. In the room, you can find all facilities: a TV, hair dryer, refrigerator, electric kettle, air conditioner, and fan. Warm water in the bathroom is available at any time.

Close to the beach and restaurants, Private pool was Awesome, and rooms were very clean. Staff were Friendly and a Great Range of Breakfast options. Very cost effective too. Air conditioning kept the room nice and cold
