Reviewed Feb 11, 2026The apartment was really nice, neat and clean. The location of the apartment was very good, in the city centre which made going out really easy. There are bus stops nearby, to Santa Claus Village and the airport. The apartment has everything you’ll need. The host was so nice and friendly!

Reviewed Dec 17, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at Apartment Santa Wave. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. All the information provided (key box, Wi-Fi, sauna, dishwasher, sofa bed, etc.) was very clear, which made everything simple and stress-free. The communication with the host was friendly and reactive, and the apartment really contributed to the great holidays we had in Rovaniemi.
Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything went smoothly during our stay and we didn’t have any issues to report.

Reviewed Dec 16, 2025I chose this accommodation to experience the winter and Christmas atmosphere of Finland in a cozy, Finnish home-like setting rather than staying in a hotel. The interior was very fancy and beautifully decorated with a warm Christmas vibe, and most importantly, the place was extremely clean throughout. The host was very responsive, and there was a kind and detailed guide placed on the dining table, which was especially helpful. Thanks to this, we were able to use the sauna without any difficulties. It was about a 4-minute walk to the bus stop for Santa Claus Village(slightly different from the stop shown on Google Maps), and the bus terminal to Saariselkä was also conveniently located within about a 12-minute walk.
Sorting the trash and recycling was a bit confusing. Also, although the room was not cold, it would be nice to have additional guidance on how to use the heating system.

Also the apartment is very well equipped, specially the kitchen, everything you could think of, it was there. The communication with the owner was great and location is perfect, 3-5min walk to shops, restaurants, supermarket, tour operators. 100% recommended. Thank you very much!
