Riad Jouba

Personale gentilissimo, stanze enormi, attenzioni continue per l’ospite. Piscina 🔝.

Měli jsme velký prostorný pokoj a hezky se o nás všichni starali. Snídaně byly velmi chutné rovněž i večeře.

Very nice rooms and pool area.

AC was not big enough for the room, it underperformed. We stayed in June so it was quite hot.

Tudo perfeito

Great Jouba close to desert 🌵, staff is awesome and always available to assist or help. Truly enjoyed our stay!!!

All was as expected, so not much not to like!

Our stay was pleasant. The riad is beautifully decorated and dinner was delicious.

Overall the riad lacked a bit of personality. The manager wasn´t very helpful in finding us a hammam facility in the neighborhood.

Very clean, super nicely designed and decorated. Staff was very friendly and responsive!

Cozy, very clean and stylish hotel with attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished. Comfortable and comfortable mattress, with a choice of pillows and duvet. Air conditioning, hot water and excellent internet. The entire staff is responsive, smiling and hospitable. The food is delicious and varied. They offer a laundry service.

Noting.

Prachtig ingericht allemaal. De bedden waren geweldig. Parkeren op eigen terrein voor de accommodatie.

-

The biscottini di benvenuto e tanta cordialità!

Very spacious room

My stay at Riad Jouba was simply wonderful and truly unforgettable. The room was large and spacious, with a beautiful balcony that made the stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was also very spacious and, most importantly, equipped with all the comforts one could need. From the very first moment, the kindness and professionalism of the staff were exceptional. They welcomed us warmly, helped us with our luggage, patiently answered all our questions, and supported us throughout our stay, always serving us in the best possible way. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail: from the delicious tea offered to us, to the excellent dinner, which included several different options, all well-prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it was a truly marvelous stay that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Merzouga. Riad Jouba is a real gem, and I would gladly return without hesitation.

Très beau RIAD. Personnel au top.

RAS

10/10 nothing to complain. Extremely nice and friendly staff, a lot of very good, hand cooked food.

Bardzo polecam dla motocyklistów i nie tylko. Świetne pokoje, wybitne śniadania, basen, parking

It is close to the bus station. The riad is pretty big and luxurious among all we have seen in Merzouga after wandering around for two days. The breakfast is the best we have had in Morocco even though the concept is all same. Highly recommended!!!

The shower temperature is not stable, probably because of the water pressure. That was very annoying. The stuff tried to sell you activities with a big premium. After he heard that we booked the camel ride and desert camp with others, he became unhappy and lost interest in us.

Traumhaft schöne Zimmer in einem herrlich großen Riad in the middle of nowwhere.

Everything was impeccable. It was truly delightful to stay in this beautiful hotel next to the golden sand dunes. The owner is always there to ensure his guests have everything they need; he is passionate and incredibly kind. We had wonderful conversations with him , and we shared many laughs. Everything was perfect. Truly delightful.

I wish we could have spent more time there; we had so much fun. We will definitely go back

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location near the dunes, the view of Lalla Merzouga, the rooftop terrace, the pool, the room, the bedding, the decor, the furniture—all were wonderful. The cleanliness was exemplary, and the decor was very tasteful. The Riad supports local crafts. The meals are excellent, and it's possible to request a special dish in advance. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and very engaging. It's like staying with old friends. We had a great time with Barri, the owner. The photos on the website accurately reflect reality.

We had a wonderful stay at this Riad. The establishment is new with beautiful Moroccan decor. The quality of the construction, the large, well-appointed, and comfortable rooms, and the generous breakfasts included are noteworthy. We also dined there twice, and the food was excellent, plentiful, and beautifully presented. The service was equally outstanding. We spent two months in Morocco, and this hotel is our number one choice of all the places we stayed. Thank you, for taking such good care of us.

Very nice hotel. We went back for another stay after our Erg Chebbi visit.

Stanza molto grande, letti giganti!

Rien

Very friendly and helpful staff and owner, thanks guys!

Riad Jouba is a spectacular traditional riad with all the modern amenities. I was greeted with tea and snacks as this the Moroccan way. The staff was welcoming and proficient in languages. My room was spacious and decorated with the feel of the Sahara. It was the Merzouga room.

Eigenlijk beviel alles.

The riad is in a strategic location — close to everything, yet away from the noise. There’s free private parking. I loved the traditional Moroccan décor and the peaceful atmosphere.

good

Thank you so much for the hospitality, see you next time

The riad’s design is traditional and very beautiful, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. The Moroccan breakfast was one of the tastiest I’ve ever had, and all the staff were kind and helpful with everything.

Breakfast is good.

We came back for subsequent stay after a night at Sahara camp. There’s power cutoff and subsequently the aircon in the room wasn’t working properly and we alerted the boss. But instead of acknowledging the problem, he insisted that the aircon is ok. In the end, the error message in the aircon came up and finally the staff (not the boss) change a room (to the only room which has a decent working aircon) for us. Overall the boss feels rather avaricious with the only guest in the riad.

Breakfast is nice and staff are generally nice.

The room is hot even with aircon on, due to the location of aircon.

A magnificent riad with an exceptional location at the edge of the desert. The pool and the food were exceptional. The staff is very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. We will miss them, we love them.

Nothing

We came at very late night, they made us tea, the team working there was super friendly and the owner made us tour with camels, with quads, it was very fantastic experience! We asked to order Medfuna tradicional Sahara's pizza. Swimmimg pool vas very clean and nice. We higly recomend to stay here, we had 3 nights. Hotel is beautiful 🌴 Bed was super big and comfy!

very friendly staff. good service. Mohammed took me to the bus station after checking out. nice swimming pool. spacious hotel room and bathroom. atmospheric riad. delicious dinner.

WiFi in the hotel room sometimes dropped out

The is a beautiful place! The entire riad is picture worthy! And the staff from the moment you get there until you check out are very accommodating and attentive. We were able to check in early even though we didn’t arrange it before hand. Soufiane made us breakfast early in the morning because we had to get on the road. We didn’t use them but they had ATV’s for rent as well that looked to be brand new and in better condition than most of the ones I saw. Skip the desert “luxury” camps and have a real luxes experience at Riad Jouba

Fantastic Riad in Merzouga. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and warm rooms (which was great to have in January after a chilly night in the desert). Very good breakfast and dinners!

Shower taking a while to get hot.

Great property in Merzouga. Very comfortable and aesthetically furnished. The staff was also very helpful. The host happily accommodated our early checkin request and served us breakfast on the same day. The service felt very personal and our stay within the riad was wonderful.

The riad is a little far out from the dunes, unlike the tents that are situated directly within them. You’ll need a 4x4 to get to the dunes, which can be quite costly—we were quoted €25 per person for a round trip. Additionally, the host was a bit insistent, often trying to sell us activities. We eventually booked the camel ride and dinner through the hotel but were disappointed with the overall experience. The camel ride ended around 4:45 PM, leaving us stranded at the camp for hours before dinner was served. Unfortunately, the dinner itself was very underwhelming and not worth the price. Most of the meals were vegetarian, so not good for meat lovers or people who don’t enjoy vegetables. There was hardly any entertainment or party atmosphere either. After voicing our dissatisfaction, the host did offer a discount, but the experience was already spoiled. I would recommend organizing activities independently through platforms like Viator or GetYourGuide for a better experience.

very nice riad in merzouga, excellent service, great help with activities, good food, highly recommended

Nice breakfast and dinner. Sufiyan attended to us and was so helpful and courteous. We stayed for a night before our dessert camp and were impressed with the cleanliness and nice big rooms.

Great staff, they were there for us every single time and assisted us with every request. Breakfast and dinner were served at our convenience, tea and snacks at the pool served any time. Riad is beautifully furnished. Convenient drive to the dunes.
