Encontré una cucaracha en ma habitación. Entiendo que puede pasar, pero es muy desagradable. El hecho de que no haya nadie para hacer el check in persona complica un poco todo. Tuve que pregubtar cómo hacer el pago porque no me dieron información de nada. El baño olía a humedad.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026This is a really nice place to stay in Bucaramanga. Great location in Cabacera, close to great cafes and leafy streets. Rooms are good sizes, well furnished and very clean. The hosts help us organise a private bathroom when my wife became ill.

Reviewed May 21, 2024The hostel was excellent and I'm very pleased I booked it. The owner was very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. I was even was able to attend a guided tour of local graffiti art in the city that he had scheduled for approx. $10. The facilities and location were excellent, wi-fi, breakfast and room very good. Very quiet. The door of the room had a digital entry combination. Area to relax when not in your dorm room, and a kitchen to use if you want to cook. (Breakfast was provided as an older lady arrived to prepare it). I wish I had stayed longer both in the city and the hostel. I had forgotten a small bag of food and another guest happened to be travelling to where I was headed so we were able to meet up there...that little extra bit of customer service was really most appreciated. When I return to Bucaramanga, I'll be sure to check in with La Bonita Guesthouse!
It doesn't have 24/7 front desk, but it wasn't an issue at all.
