Reviewed Sep 8, 2025The location close to the beach and to Sundara hotel where we attended an event. The hosts were absolutely responsive and friendly.
The lack of aircon, but the owners provided us with 2 fans.

The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the hospitality from the local community adds to the charm. Homemade Sri Lankan meals were a highlight, and it’s a great spot if you want to immerse yourself in the area without the usual tourist crowds. It’s perfect for those seeking a more authentic and peaceful stay by the sea. The guesthouse doesn’t have air conditioning, but the bedroom has a fan that provides a nice breeze at night, making it easy to sleep comfortably. The temperature is quite pleasant, especially with the coastal air, so it never feels too hot. It’s a simple, relaxing stay where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere without needing much more.
