Jaisalmer Sand Dunes Luxury Camp And Resort By Royal Empire

This was also a 1 night stop in the Dunes and the desert. I had a good time - The tents were clean and bathroom had warm water - The animation with dancers and fire artist was nice and local - I even danced a little - Breakfast was local and dinner - Room was comfy and food was good - The other hosts were Indians so they understood everything- I booked a camel ride and I had fun until sunset.

Our driver had hard time finding the place because of lack of indication on the road while all the other hotels had numerous and visible signs. Missing a little TLC for the evening night, more drink options (mock-coktails, coconut juice- Local beverages ---) But for the name Empire Luxury Resort we expect a little more luxury- Yes The hotel should be a little more luxurious - But let's be indulgent Most of the time the management team is composed of men and they just do their job- They do not look at the property with the eyes of the tourist looking for an exotic stay.

Tent was good but non AC , unable to manage cold atmosphere.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a desert camp near Sam Sand Dunes in Jaisalmer, and the experience was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel completely at home in the middle of the Thar Desert. The luxury tents were clean, spacious, and surprisingly comfortable – with proper beds, attached bathrooms, and even hot water, which was a blessing during the cooler evenings. The sunset camel ride through the dunes was serene and scenic, offering stunning views that felt straight out of a movie. Evening entertainment was another highlight – a perfect mix of Rajasthani folk music, dance performances, and a bonfire under the stars. The buffet dinner featured a delicious spread of traditional Rajasthani food, full of flavor and variety. What truly stood out was the peaceful night sky – lying back on the sand, stargazing in total silence, away from the city lights, was an experience I’ll never forget.

Staying at this desert camp was like stepping into a dream. From royal hospitality to luxurious tents set amidst golden sand dunes, everything was crafted to perfection. The attention to detail, comfort, and elegance made us feel like true kings and queens in the desert. The evening desert safari was full of adventure — we rode through the dunes on camels and jeeps, watched the sun dip below the horizon, and clicked some of the most stunning photos. But the real magic began at night. The camp came alive with traditional folk performances, fire dances, and music that echoed under the open desert sky. The stargazing experience was beyond words — so peaceful, so beautiful, like nature’s private show just for us. Our tent was spacious, beautifully designed, and had every modern amenity while still capturing the spirit of Rajasthan. The staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a luxury desert getaway with royal vibes, adventure, and the peace of a star-lit night — this is the place. A truly unforgettable experience! 🌟🏜️🔥

Our stay at this desert camp was nothing short of a royal experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty — warm welcomes, traditional Rajasthani music, and a seamless check-in into our luxury tent, which felt like a palace in the middle of the Thar Desert. The interiors were elegant, clean, and thoughtfully designed with all modern amenities, yet carried the charm of heritage and culture. The desert safari was a thrilling ride — we explored the golden dunes by jeep and camel, witnessing the stunning sunset over the vast desert. As night fell, the entire camp transformed into a magical setting. Stargazing under the open sky was truly breathtaking — millions of stars visible without any city lights. The cultural night with folk music, Kalbeliya dance, bonfire, and royal seating made the evening unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and the food was authentic, fresh, and flavorful. If you’re looking for a blend of adventure, luxury, and culture, this desert camp is the perfect escape. It’s not just a stay — it’s an experience you’ll never forget. 🌌🐪🏕️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently had the most magical experience at this desert camp in Jaisalmer. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and traditional Rajasthani vibes. The tents were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with all the necessary comforts while still keeping the rustic charm of the desert. The evening cultural program was a highlight — live folk music, Kalbeliya dance, and a bonfire under the stars made it unforgettable. The food was authentic and delicious, with plenty of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The camel safari and jeep ride into the dunes were thrilling and offered stunning sunset views.

Our stay here was truly memorable. The camp is located in a peaceful part of the Jaisalmer desert, away from the main road and crowded areas, which makes it perfect for families, couples, and solo female travelers. Safety is clearly a top priority — the staff is respectful, attentive, and always available without being intrusive. All desert activities like camel safari, jeep safari, cultural programs, and dinner are organized directly from the camp itself. This is a big advantage because you don’t have to deal with outside brokers, who often misguide guests with false promises. Everything felt genuine, well-managed, and transparent. The atmosphere is calm and authentic, especially appreciated by foreign travelers who are looking for a quiet and real desert experience rather than a commercial one. Clean tents, hygienic food, and warm hospitality made us feel comfortable throughout the stay. Highly recommended for families, solo women travelers, and anyone who wants a safe, honest, and peaceful desert experience in Jaisalmer.

The entire place has a strong Royal Heritage vibe — from the traditional architecture to the décor, everything reflects authentic Rajasthani culture rather than a commercial setup. You genuinely feel like you’re staying in a heritage-style desert retreat. One of the biggest highlights is that the property is deep inside the dunes and completely quiet, far away from the main road noise, crowds, and unwanted brokers. This makes it extremely safe and comfortable for families, solo women travelers, and foreign guests. The environment is calm, private, and very well-managed, with respectful staff who ensure guests feel secure at all times. Evening cultural programs, surroundings, and lighting add to the peaceful and royal atmosphere without being loud or disturbing. Unlike roadside camps, everything from activities to stay is organized inside the property itself, which is a big plus for safety and convenience — especially for families and women.

The rooms are bad, no cleanliness, washrooms are very poor, evening snacks availability is extremely poor, food is pathetic

Same as written above

The camp was not very far from the main road; however, the GPS coordinates provided by the property are wrong. Google the name of the camp and follow the directions. The cultural programme was entertaining. The food at the resort was of good quality. The surroundings are clean, and other arrangements in the resort were good.

The rooms were not cleaned properly, especially the bathroom. There were cigarette stubs behind the washbasin. The property should strictly follow the no-smoking rule, as there is a good chance of fire, because of the tent material and the high temperature in the locality.

Every evening, we enjoyed lively cultural performances, traditional music, and a warm bonfire that brought everyone together. Nothing honestly they are scammers . Very disappointing and unsafe experience – felt misleading and unprofessional Unfortunately, our experience at this camp was extremely poor and stressful from start to finish. On Booking.com, it was clearly mentioned that payment could be made at the property. However, even before we arrived, the staff pressured us to pay in advance. We ended up paying 50% beforehand. After that, the location shared on Booking.com was incorrect, and we had to repeatedly chase them just to get the correct directions. They then insisted that we visit their city office and make the full payment in advance to receive a “voucher,” which we refused due to common scam concerns in Jaisalmer. We were given different phone numbers, and each person gave conflicting instructions, all insisting on advance payment. After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to accept payment at the camp—but only after we mentioned having local contacts in Jaisalmer. This entire process felt highly unprofessional and misleading. When we finally reached the camp, the condition of the tents was terrible—very dirty and poorly maintained. The photos shown on Booking.com are completely misleading and do not match the actual property at all. The bedsheets appeared reused and were not clean, which was extremely unhygienic. There was no room service or proper staff support once we checked in. The overall environment felt uncomfortable, and this place is not couple-friendly. The behavior and attitude of the staff made us feel uneasy, especially from a safety perspective. The food quality was also very poor. Considering the amount charged (around ₹12,000), this stay was absolutely not worth the money. At best, it might be acceptable for a very low budget (around ₹3,000), but definitely not at the price we paid. Overall, the entire stay felt misleading and left us feeling cheated.

Location. Cultural program. Camel ride. Sand dunes. Sunset. Helpful staff who carried the luggages. Taxi service. The comfortable bed.

Water bottles were not replenished in the room. We had to buy at Rs.40/bottle. The luxury tent was decent but the bathroom didn't have toilet paper. The housekeeping did not clean the bathroom properly. The breakfast should have included some continental like french toast and eggs especially for kids. The jeep safari should not have allowed young kids (below 12) to be seated in the open section of the jeep. The ride was too bumpy and kids could get hurt badly.

Room was comfortable

The loud and disturbing music. The snacks offered in the evening were very bad. The toilet was dirty.

Our stay at Jaisalmer sand dunes Desert Camp was truly unforgettable. 🏜️ The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable. The tents were clean, cozy, and well maintained, giving us a perfect balance of comfort and a desert adventure vibe. The cultural program in the evening was full of energy and beautifully showcased the local traditions. Sitting around the bonfire under the starry sky was a magical experience. ✨ The food was delicious and freshly prepared, and the desert safari added a lot of thrill to our trip. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone visiting Jaisalmer for an authentic and memorable desert stay.

Good experience for a comfortable camp stay in the Desert ! Clean and reasonably well equipped tent, local tasty food as well as helpful staff make the visit memorable. While we stayed for 1 nights, feel a one night stay is sufficient as the activities can be easily completed in one day and there isnt much to do over a 1 night stay.

The staff and entertainment were very nice.

The management. They misled us on pricing of activities and were not at all forthcoming with what was to be gotten. The pictures are close, but not completely accurate either. Shower didn't work. Bathroom could have been cleaner. The linnen and towels could use some cleaning and a change too.

An amazing place for desert activities! I and my friend got to this hotel through the hotel in Jaisalmer where we had our accommodation. We went for a camel ride and then for the evening with traditional dances and with dinner included. The hotel looked very nice and quiet, and the owner was very friendly and talked to all the guests. Camel ride at sunset was very nice and worth of a lot of pictures. I very recommend the dance performance, as it was interesting and also interactive - the dancer and also the musicians were involving people in their performances, interacting with the viewers and making it more memorable. On the top of these activities, we have decided to also go for parasailing. The hotel members were flexible enough to call some company organizing parasailing rides, and arranging the drive to the place for us. The whole evening was very nice, but I would appreciate dinner to be a bit earlier, as it only happened later in the evening after the dance performance. Maybe it would be better to have dinner before the dance performance, even though there were snacks

It’s awesome experience in tent and the services and food quality was also good.. Jeep Safari experience and camel ride experience and other adventures were also so good… Staff were very supportive… Luxurious Tent experience were so good… Can come again and stay here with family and friends…

I had an amazing stay at Desert Camp! The tents were exceptional – comfortable, well-equipped, and offered a perfect balance of luxury and nature. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Special thanks to mr james and Abdul, the manager, who were both incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The chef deserves a big shoutout too – the food was absolutely delicious! From traditional dishes to unique flavors, every meal was a treat. Highly recommend this Desert Camp for anyone looking for a perfect desert experience!

My stay at the desert camp was truly magical! The evening started with beautiful live music that set the perfect ambiance, accompanied by delicious snacks. The dinner was absolutely amazing, with a variety of flavors that truly impressed me. The highlight, however, was the visit to the dunes for the sunset—it was breathtaking and an experience I’ll never forget. The combination of stunning scenery, great food, and soulful music made this an unforgettable desert getaway. Highly recommend it!

Super clean and comfortable tents , spotless bathrooms with all the amenities and extremely helpful , polite and courteous staff . Spent an entire day and events were well planned . The camel ride and the evening high tea with the entertainment was good fun . Loved the peacful ambience and seeing the night sky full of stars and waking up to peacocks . Food is simple and tasty and mostly vegetarian. Booked this resort based on the reviews i saw online and was not disappointed
