Reviewed Aug 26, 2026We chose this hotel because it was close to the Kottayam / Alleppey boat jetty. Such a well kept hotel with great reception desk team. We ere there to enjoy an overnight stay and to see the water lilies in flower at Malarikkal . Reception arranged a taxi to collect us at 6am take us and to wait and return us to hotel for breakfast. This worked out so well . Good advice to order a taxi … an auto is too uncomfortable for the journey distance. Lift to our room on Floor 1. The hotel housekeeping has everything sparkling clean.The bathroom has a fantastic shower with hot water. The twin room had good quality bedding and a kettle in the room. The Restaurant we enjoyed very much . Good attention and we enjoyed a simple lunch of Tomato soup and toasted veg sandwich with tea . In the evening the full menu to choose from and we went for Pasta Arrabiata green salad followed by ice creams.
There is a busy roundabout with noisy traffic right at the front entrance. All went quiet at bed time and quiet when we got up at 5am.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026EXCELLENT HOUSE KEEPING AND ROOM SERVICE. BREAKFAST BUFFET IS VERY VAST SELECTION OF FOOD AND VERY GOOD TASTE. ENJOYED OUR STAY AND THE STAFF HAVE BEEN VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL.
NONE TO REPORT. AS THE HOTEL HAS VERY GOOD RESTUARANT, BAR AND AMPLE CAR PARKING SPACES. DOES NOT LACK ANYTHING.

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Aida. It is centrally located, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean with all the modern conveniences. Staff were friendly and helpful. I also ate at the 2 restaurants and both were very nice with a good range of choices - Indian, Chinese and European. The breakfast also had Indian and European options. The property was also good value for money.
Internet in the rooms was not great at times.

Lovely reception area, great place to chill while waiting for taxis etc. Good laundry service. Kids were really happy staying there.
Our rooms at the road side were a bit noisy from the traffic but still slept well. Couple of issues with the room entry key cards not working but the staff sorted it all. A few short power outs. A guest kept phoning our room (111) trying to get reception. Ended up taking the phone off.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Had a nice stay here. The room was spacious. The restaurant serves very tasty food. Have a large parking space. It's located in the heart of the city. Complimentary breakfast buffet had a large spread with tasty food. Overall, had a comfortable stay.
Only 1 litre of complimentary water bottle everyday. That should not be the case. Water bottles should be made available to guests without any limit. And if you want to buy extra, they will charge Rs 30 for a bottle. Not at all acceptable.
