Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Die Lage ist perfekt! Man ist in wenigen Minuten in der Innenstadt wo es genug Restaurants gibt. Auch zum markt ist man schnell gelaufen. Dennoch liegt die Unterkunft ruhig in einer Nebengasse! Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt Aircon. Die Dame an der Rezeption war unglaublich lieb und hat uns mit frischen Datteln versorgt und tägliche Zimmerreinigung angeboten die wir nicht gebraucht haben! Auch gibt es einen kleinen Pool der jeden Abend gereinigt wird. Der ist perfekt zum abkühlen. Bei Problemen wurde schnell reagiert und uns andere Zimmer angeboten! Perfekter Service!!!
Die Hähne des Nachbarn krähen Tag und Nacht- das ist nichts für einen leichten Schlaf! In den unteren Zimmer riecht die Klimaanlage manchmal unangenehm und es gab Ameisen. Die Küche die es gibt hätten wir nicht benutzen wollen.., sind einfach anderes gewohnt. Am Pool wären ein paar Liegen statt Plastikstühlen noch super und es gibt nur einen Sonnenschirm der Schatten spendet. Der andere steht zwar da ist aber definitiv schon länger defekt

وقت الوصل مفروض يحسب التوقيت اللي وصلت فيه ما يحسب كان حاجز من صباح رغم اني في حجز اخبرتهم بوصل الساعه 5 او 6 مساء استغرب انه الموظف يخبرني ان الخروج ساعه 11 صباح رغم اني حجز كان يوم كامل يعني 24 ساعه ... هذا الموقف اللي ما عجبني في فندق 🏨 ارجوا النظر في موضوع

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026J’ai séjourné deux nuits au Riad Nizwa, et tout s’est parfaitement bien passé. L’hôtel est idéalement situé en plein cœur de Nizwa, ce qui permet de tout faire à pied. Le personnel a été vraiment exceptionnel, toujours accueillant, attentionné et disponible. Une mention toute particulière à Zita pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme !

Reviewed May 24, 2026Hervorragende Gastfreundschaft ... gute Lage, da die Unterkunft mitten in der historischen Altstadt von Nizwa liegt ... das berühmte Nizwa Fort (die Festung) und der traditionelle Souq (Markt) sind in wenigen Minuten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar ... das Riad Nizwa ist kein steriles Luxushotel, sondern eine traditionelle, persönliche Pension ... wer den authentischen Charme der Altstadt sucht, die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber schätzt, sowie einem kurzen Fußweg zum Auto kein Problem hat, wird diese Unterkunft als wunderschöne, ruhige Oase erleben ...

Pool area is a nice sun trap and the property has a lot of character and charm. Zita is an amazing host, very warm and friendly and keeps the hotel super clean.

Reviewed May 5, 2026We had a wonderful stay at Riad Nizwa. Comfortable twin room. Shower room was very small but functional. Water pressure was brilliant most of the time. Nice garden/pool areas to hang about and near the city centre but far enough to be peaceful. Shout out to the female receptionist who was absolutely lovely.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2026The location of the riad is perfect for exploring Nizwa souk, fort and surrounding area. We enjoyed spending sometime sitting by the small pool in the little suntrap garden of the property and spending the evenings on the balcony. The riad is very atmospheric and has a lot of character, our room was a good size (twin bed with private bathroom). Zeta was our host and she was very helpful, nice, always smiling and she keeps the property very clean. We had an excellent stay here.
Only thing to be aware of is that riad is located in the old town so the roads are very narrow - if you're not confident driving down narrow lanes you may want to park at the large car park behind the souk and walk 5 mins to the hotel.

The bathroom was filthy ..taps and shower were grimy! I ended up not using the shower at all... Also didn't like the stairs...it's uncomfortable for me as I have bad knees.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026Vrhunska nastanitev in lokacija, le nekaj korakov od obzidja in trdnjave. Sobica je bila majhna a z vsem kar pootrebuješ. Zelo lično opremljena. Vrt nastanitve z bazenom je čudovit, pravo majhno zavetje pred soncem in vrvežem, polno zelenja, palm in nasadov rož. Hotel nudi tudi polno opremljeno souporabo kuhinje. Preseglo vsa pričakovanja in je bil eden boljših nastanitev na najini poti. Ob prihodu naju je postregla prijazna gospodična, nama ponudila vodo, kavico in datlje. Res priporočam, počutje je bilo zelo domačno.
Voda v bazenu ni bila popolnoma čista, tako da nisem tvegala, čeprav so se nekateri gostje normalno kopali.

En plus elle parle français 👌 L'emplacement est top du top juste à qql pas de l entrée dans la cité. La chambre et sdb petites mais propres et fonctionnelles. Très jolie entrée, jardin , piscine. Possibilité de vous servir de tout dans la cuisine équipée. Parking juste a côté de l'établissement 👍
Tout était bien mais peut être un peu cher pour la taille de la chambre et sdb. Nous avons vu des chambres à qql euros(5-10) de plus mais directement dans la cité.... A voir baisser un peu le prix 🤔

Zita was a great host, always checked in, made sure we had everything we needed. She also gave us great recommendations, including visiting the Oman Across Ages Museum which turned out to be a must visit in Oman.

Einige Moskitos im Zimmer, es ist aber ein „Insektengrill" vorhanden. Wir haben den Pool gemieden, der hat leider nicht sehr einladend gewirkt.. Die Gartenanlage hat viel Potential, müsste aber mal aufgeräumt werden.
