La cama es cómoda y la alberca enfrente de nuestro cuarto fue muy cómodo. El alojamiento en sí es una experiencia tradicional que nos encantó vivir, el personal muy atento con nosotros en todo momento

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026The location, everything was walking distance , staff were helpful and traditional old world charm decor was beautiful. Loved how the staff waited for us (breakfast ends at 9am but we went at 10am) to come to the rooftop brunch so that we didn’t miss the breakfast.
The idea of the bathroom outside, they did mention it in the room description that it would be an external bathroom. Just didn’t realize it would be uncomfortable to use the bathroom in the middle of the night with a key to open the lock.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026C'est la 1ère fois que nous voyagons dans ce pays et nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour faire notre première découverte et que dire que c'est un havre de paix. L'authenticité de notre chambre type grotte décor oriental. Petit déjeuner hors du commun, sa nous change des petits déj classique.... Le calme vraiment reposant. Petite ville de nizwar nous manque déjà. Nous reviendrons c'est sur.
La piscine était magnifique. Manquerais juste un petit rafraîchissement des transats et mobiliers. Pas assez de transat.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Obiekt położony w zabytkowej części Nizwy tuż obok fortu. Piękny zadbany ogród oraz basen który dawał wytchnienie po całym dniu zwiedzania w 40 stopniowym upale. Klimatycznie urządzone pokoje. Ponieważ przyjechałam w low season i byłam jedynym gościem, bufet śniadaniowy nie działał, dostałam lunch box z rekompensatą w postaci podwyższenia standardu pokoju. Dla mnie było to mocno satysfakcjonujące :)

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026I like the location it's in the center of old souq. accommodating staff, clean rooms with great amenities. I like the vibe of the hotel specially the majlis where you can sit, eat and feels like a local home.
i thought the breakfast was buffet, anyway the reception explained that we are only the guest who book with breakfast included so they cannot able to provide buffet type of breakfast. they gave packed type instead.

Les chambres sont typiques du style omanais : elles n’ont pas de fenêtres, mais elles sont bien aménagées, climatisées et très agréables. Le petit-déjeuner est vraiment très bon, avec un cadre agréable. L’hôtel dispose également d’une piscine calme, parfaite pour se détendre après une journée de visite.
Le seul point à améliorer concerne le service. Le personnel pourrait être un peu plus à l’écoute et plus aimable, notamment au moment du petit-déjeuner. Les personnes chargées du service semblaient peu impliquées, passant du temps sur leur téléphone au lieu de débarrasser les tables ou de réapprovisionner les plats, ce qui était un peu dérangeant.

The breakfast didn't offer occidental option but there are plenty of nice cafes around in case oriental breakfast doesn't suit you. The pool felt a bit dirty.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Amazing and fairy tale look in the Nizwa city centre. It was good stay with decent breakfast. If you would like a traditional vibe in Omani house - this is definitely the place to stay.
I wish we stayed in some less hot month. Maybe we will come back in some colder season to enjoy it to the full.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Located in the traditional site of Nizwa surrounded by museums and antique shops. Plenty of shops and restaurants for dine outs and ornaments. Hotel provides an authentic traditional Omani vibes with 300 years old well and nicely arranged renovated rooms.
Breakfast was lack of taste, even if served in a nice rooftop restaurant. Linen were old and discolored though they seem washed.

We had pool view rooms that look like straw huts arranged around the pool. Handy to go in and out the pool but feels cheap and you don’t get the antique experience at all. I would recommend avoiding these and book rooms in the main building.
