Funky City Apartment By Lapland Host

We were not sure if we should stay in the city-center or outskirts but happy we picked the center. It's not cheap but one of the most budget friendly options around. The location was great, directly in the center and very close to shopping malls, markets, tour agencies etc. The apartment is perfect for 2-3 people. Bedroom and living room with extra bed was everything we needed. Kitchen was also well equipped, almost had everything we needed. The toaster was not working and we recieved a new one in less than 24 hours. The apartment temperature was very good. We were not hot or cold at all.

- Definitely pillows - could ve been a lot better, they were too thin. - The message we received about cleaning was not nice - Asking to take out the bedding, wash the dishes, leave the house clean, take out the trash etc. and if not, they might request extra payment. I understand the point but maybe change the wording or directly add an option of paid cleaning or self-cleaning selections.

Appartement propre et très bien situation. On se trouve dans une rue calme proche de la rue piétonne, des commerces, supermarché et arrêt de bus. Instructions données très précise et le propriétaire réponds à vos questions très rapidement. Je reviendrai avec plaisir si vous revenons à Rovaniemi.

Before we arrived at the apartment the owner already sent photos and instructions on how to enter the apartment. When we arrived at 6 pm we did not have to wait too long outside especially with the freezing weather. As we entered the apartment you can already feel its cleanliness. No dust whatsoever. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living rooms are ok. The owner also provided a hair drier for its guest. The radiant heaters are also very warm and the windows are insulated. The apartment is enough for 4 persons. The location is very near the malls, restaurants, fastfood and a small 24 hours grocery store. Bus stop to Sta. Claus village is approximately 200 to 300 meters from the apartment,

Very cozy apartment right in the middle of Rovaniemi. Walking distance to a number of nice restaurants/bars/cafes and tour operators if you don't want to dob trips on your own (which is also easy if you have a rental car, parking included in the apartment). Bed was very comfortable and you can tell the owners made an effort to find nice furniture.

The whole building is not very soundproof so you will likely hear people rumbling in the staircase and - depending on the neighbors - next door apartment. We also felt the apartment is a bit pricey, but that is Rovaniemi in general compared to other regions.

The location is perfect, in the heart of city center. The host is also very helpful. We really had a great stay here.

Nice little apartment in central location, perfect to get to shops and had parking. Host was great with communication and very responsive.

The entrance to the building was like a building site with a lot of noise coming from next door builders renovating from 8am - 10pm. Did not match the feel of the apartment at all.

The property was really clean and location was fantastic. Lieven was always really responsive and check in was easy and smooth.

Funky City Apartment is immaculately clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. It is v centrally located in the city centre with 100m to a great supermarket and pick up locations for tours etc. Communication with host was excellent. Easily slept 2 and would be ok for 4.

However, entrance to the property is not great. It is in an untidy and dirty courtyard and initial response to the buzzer wasn't clear. Next to the entrance were all the dirty boxes from the restaurant below. Just manage your expectations!

This place has great reviews and the pictures look lovely. However, when I arrived I was still impressed at how inviting and homey it felt- its clear how much effort and thought has gone into making the place not only spotless and beautiful, but to feel like a home.

Located in/near the city Center with walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. The apartment had everything we needed and was perfectly clean.
