la difficulté pour payer. nous aurions préféré le paiement en ligne en amont. notre PayPal ne fonctionnait pas . nous avons du payer avec nos derniers euros dispos et le lendemain aucun établissement ne prenait la carte bancaire donc difficile. mais rien de grave. nous avons pu arranger le problème avec certes un peu de perte de temps

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026The studio is nice, very clean and modern. You can check out at whatever time is convenient for you. The host is very responsive if you have a question. There is a mall very close by.
I was very upset with the host because she is very misleading with the studio location. On the ad she wrote calle 6 punta cana but its actually calle 5 Higuey, its 30 minutes from downtown punta cana! I paid 1700 pesos for an uber to get me back to the studio from downtown. I was super upset because i passed by Higuey on my way to Punta Cana, I could have avoided this ride. In regards to the room, it was clean and modern. There are literally no space between the toilet and the shower curtain lol, the shower is very tiny. It was raining while i was there and there was water coming in on the floor but it wasnt anything major, I told the host about it so it will probably be fixed soon. The bed is a very small single bed, i didnt mind because im small but it could be an issue for some people. You have to pay the room in cash. It happen to me in 3 out of 5 of the places i stayed in in rep dom, they dont communicate that clearly in the ad so be aware.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026Très bon contact avec Alejandra qui est une personne très réactive et qui donne les bonnes explications. Elle m'a organisé le transfert en taxi avec Starlin qui est super, avec qui je me suis sentie en sécurité . Proche de l'aéroport, la chambre est propre et le lit confortable. Il y a une petite cuisine avec du café, de l'eau et quelques biscuits à l'arrivée, ce qui est très appréciable. C'est Benshima qui m'a adorablement accueillie et qui parle très bien français. Je n'ai pas eu le temps de visiter le quartier mais je me suis sentie en sécurité où j'étais. Encore merci pour votre gentillesse et votre accueil.
L'escalier en colimaçon, un peu raide pour monter jusqu'à la chambre mais on m'a aidé pour les valises. J'étais du côté de la rue donc un peu bruyant.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026This place asked me to pay an extra 1800 pesos (40 Canadian) at checkin. I’ve booked over 100 places with Booking.com, including 5 in the DR, no on has ever asked for more money at checkin. They have all honoured the amount in booking confirmation email. I was told the extra was to cover the Booking.com commission fee! So either they priced the room not taking the commission into consideration, or they priced the room lower to rent it easier and figured people would automatically pay the extra at checkin. The owner never communicated directly with me, instead the cleaning lady was showing me the owners messages and sending him mine. It left me feeling sad for her and wondering how often she has to collect extra money for the owner. So Beware! If you book here, I would send a message through Booking and confirm the exact amount that you will have to pay at checkin.
I didn’t like that they charged me more at checkin. See message above.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025I like that it is located close to the airport,it's clean and comfortable with all the amenities i needed. The landlords were sweet,accommodating, and helpful. Alejandra even left snacks and coffee/tea items for me.
Although I like being upstairs,I did not fancy climbing the spiral staircase as it was too narrow, I was not please all windows were not covered with black out curtains. Street light was a hindrance from window located over bed.

She even offered to pick me up in case I was scared! Everything was perfectly clean and in the morning she even made me a coffee with sweets. Perfect place if you're travelling to another city!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025la dueña fue muy atenta y la locación muy buena. el lugar esta bien por el precio, pero tuvimos 2 problemas. 1. cucarachas, mi novia encima es fóbica y no pudimos dormir toda la noche. La dueña vive ahi y me dijo luego que "la hubiera despertado" pero no iba a despertarla a las 2am 2. el Aire acondicionado hay que pagarlo aparte (no lo incluye) nunca me pasó y si bien no es caro deberian incluirlo en el precio me descoloco realmente y por eso dije voy a ver si puedo estar sin aire. Cuando lo quise activar una hora mas tarde resulta que tenia que contactar a la dueña y es ahi donde ya era tarde y no podia. No solo que hay que pagar aparte sino que ella lo tiene que prender y hay que molestarla Estuve pensando un tiempo en no dejar la review pero a mi me hubiese gustado que me hubieran advertido de estas cosas y a la dueña le va a servir para mejorar en estos puntos. ENG The owner was very attentive and the location was very good. The place is fine for the price, but we had 2 problems. Cockroaches – my girlfriend is phobic and we couldn’t sleep the whole night. The owner lives there and later told me I “should have woken her up,” but I wasn’t going to wake her up at 2 a.m. The air conditioning has to be paid separately (it’s not included). This had never happened to me before and, although it’s not expensive, it really should be included in the price. It caught me off guard, so I thought I’d try to stay without air conditioning. When I wanted to turn it on an hour later, it turned out I had to contact the owner, and by then it was late and I couldn’t. Not only do you have to pay extra, but she also has to turn it on, so you have to bother her. I thought for a while about not leaving a review, but I would have appreciated being warned about these things, and it will also help the owner improve in these areas.
si bien la limpieza estaba bien, el tema de las cucarachas y el calor excesivo (porque no pudimos prender el aire ya que habia que avisarle a la dueña y pagarlo aparte) nos hizo que toda la experiencia fuera muy pobre y buscábamos dormir una noche antes de nuestro vuelo, hubiésemos estado mejor durmiendo en el piso del aeropuerto ENG Although the cleanliness was fine, the issue with the cockroaches and the excessive heat (since we couldn’t turn on the air conditioning because we had to notify the owner and pay extra) made the whole experience very poor. We were just looking to get a good night’s sleep before our flight, but we would have been better off sleeping on the airport floor.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2025Η διαμονή μας στο κατάλυμα ήταν εξαιρετική και ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας. Ο χώρος ήταν πολύ καθαρός, καλοδιατηρημένος και πλήρως εξοπλισμένος, προσφέροντας άνεση και λειτουργικότητα. Αυτό όμως που έκανε τη διαφορά ήταν ο οικοδεσπότης. Ήταν, ιδιαίτερα φιλικός και εξυπηρετικός, πάντα πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει και να προτείνει τοπικά μέρη για φαγητό, δραστηριότητες και αξιοθέατα. Η προσωπική του φροντίδα και το γνήσιο ενδιαφέρον του για την άνεσή μας έκαναν τη διαμονή μας ακόμα πιο ευχάριστη. Στα συν ότι έχει και δωρεάν χώρο πάρκινγκ.
Το μόνο που δεν μου άρεσε ήταν ότι έπρεπε να πληρώσουμε ένα μικρό ποσό την μέρα για να έχουμε air-conditioned (8$ per day) βέβαια είχε ανεμιστήρα που λειτουργούσε κανονικά.

Fabio picked us up at the airport for 950 pesos or 15 dollars and for same money brought us to the bus station next morning. Nice safe area with delightful hosts.
