Reviewed Sep 8, 2026El alojamiento está genial. Optamos por esta opción en nuestra llegada a Sri Lanka para huir del caos de Colombo y descansar un poco después del vuelo. Tiene piscina y es perfecta para refrescarte del calor que hace en esa zona. la habitación era bastante grande y el baño correcto, con una amplia ducha. El personal en todo momento super amable. El desayuno correcto.

La piscine n'était pas propre. A croire que quand c'est la saison basse, les touristes n'ont pas le droit d'avoir une piscine propre pour se détendre alors que c'est une raison de notre réservation. De plus ce que je n'ai pas aimé c'est le gonflement du prix booking car il faut suivre le cours de la bourse. Forcément ça fluctue quand on prend comme référence le dollars alors que j'ai de l'euro. Ça fait tâche vraiment arrivée a la fin du séjour.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026They welcomed us at 2:40am after our flight was delayed for 6 hours. They ensured we were comfortable and guided us on where to go for our travel needs. The breakfast was delicious and hosts very friendly. The pool was lovely and very clean.
The shower was cold but this could be due to being solar powered and the rainy weather. It wasn’t a huge problem as the weather wasn’t cold even though it was rainy.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Manoj heeft ons echt thuis laten voelen. Maakte eten voor ons op onconventionele tijdstippen. We hebben nergens zo lekker gegeten als bij Manoj. Het is een kleinschalig gezellig hotel. Perfect om even te "landen" na een lange reis en te acclimatiseren. Goede airo en lekker bedden.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Un super accueil , tout le personnel a été aux petits soins .Une mention spéciale au patron et à l'hôtesse à l'accueil qui sont d'une gentillesse incroyable. La chambre était propre et la literie confortable. La salle de bain propre et avec de l'eau chaude. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et très très copieux ! Le restaurant de l'hôtel est très bon nous nous sommes régalés. Lors du départ notre hôte nous a recommandé un chauffeur pour le trajet vers Kandy un vrai plus ! Allez y les yeux fermés !

Mut zur Lücke bei der Restaurant Rechnung. Auf der Karte stehen Preise, bezahlt wird nach Adam Riese in Dollar, die dann wieder in Rupees gerechnet werden. Der Chef ist sehr freundlich, aber auch etwas uberheblich ( wir sind das beste Restaurant in der Stadt...)

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Vriendelijke ontvangst. Ruime kamer, slaapkamer en een extra voorkamer. Toilet en douche waren schoon. Goede airco Rustige plek in een drukke omgeving. Eigen restaurant verzorgd in de avond een heerlijke maaltijd. Alles vers. De eigenaar praat heel goed Engels en is zeer behulpzaam. Hij regelt vervoer bij betrouwbare mensen, (tuktuk en taxi) De taxi chauffeur heeft ons naar Wilpattu gebracht. Dit was een zeer prettige rit waarbij hij af en toe een stop maakte en voor ons iets lekkers kocht. Ook deze chauffeur sprak goed Engels, wat op zo’n lange rit toch wel erg fijn is.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Vše bylo naprosto úžasné! Hotel je překrásný! Manager hotelu byl velmi milý a pomohl nám se vším co bylo potřeba. Od navigace k autobusu až po zařízení nezapomenutelného výletu na lodi při západu slunce s krmením opic, a ovocným piknikem v laguně. Všichni zaměstnanci byli také moc milý a hodní. Byla nám lito, že jsme v hotelu strávily pouze 3 noci. Hotel je blízko pláže, ma čistý a krásný bazén a celkově bylo všude velmi čisto. Atmosféra hotelu je kouzelná, připadaly jsme si jako v pohádce. Všude byly rostliny a hrála příjemná hudba. Moc ubytování doporučuji a ráda se do něj vrátím.
Vše bylo úžasné !

Il vetro della portafinestra aveva una grande crepa, e per tutta la notte si sono sentiti rumori dall’esterno molto fastidiosi.

Der Zugang zum Hotel erfolgt durch ein in die Jahre gekommenes indisches Restaurant, vorbei an einem kleinen Pool mit nicht ganz sauberen Liegen. Bestimmt war das Hotel einmal schön, jetzt besteht aber dringender Renovierungsbedarf.
Der Zugang zum Hotel, das Restaurant/der Frühstücksraum waren nicht einladend. Der Empfang war nicht „durchgängig“ besetzt, eher spärlich und die Bilder im Netz entsprechen nicht der Realität.

Our experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing. When we first arrived, everything seemed fine, but things quickly went downhill. Despite having a confirmed reservation, we were not given the room we booked. Instead, we were sent to a completely different hotel because they decided to prioritize another couple who were staying longer. This was unacceptable and highly unprofessional. About three weeks later, we returned and approached the owner because we wanted to spend the day there and use the pool, of course offering to pay for it. Once again, we were met with a fake smile and a hypocritical attitude, only to be bluntly refused. It’s no surprise they don’t have many visitors. It’s very clear that they are only friendly if you are putting a lot of money in front of them. Otherwise, you are treated poorly and dismissed. To be fair, the employees were kind and polite — this review is specifically about the owners. To make matters worse, the owner recommended a place for us to buy bus tickets, which turned out to be a complete scam. We were charged four times the normal price. Whether they are directly involved or just friends with these people, it reflects very badly on them. Overall, this place is defined by bad treatment, dishonesty, and a complete lack of respect for guests. I would not recommend it to anyone. Avoid staying here.

Arriving late at night (around 23:00), the hotel was extremely difficult to find due to a complete lack of signage. After a long international flight, this made the check-in experience quite frustrating. There were no food options available at the hotel, and no nearby restaurants open, leaving us with only limited fast food choices via Uber Eats. During the night, the property experienced a water pump failure, resulting in no running water until the morning. Even once restored, the water pressure was very low and there was no hot water. The air conditioning also came with restrictions, as we were told not to set it below 20°C to avoid leakage, which is not ideal in a warm climate. Breakfast was very underwhelming. The only option offered was scrambled eggs and fruit that appeared to have been sitting out for quite some time. Additionally, due to ongoing patio renovations near the pool, no coffee was available. Communication with staff was also challenging due to a language barrier, making it difficult to address concerns or get clarification. To add to the experience, we were charged extra for the breakfast, which did not reflect the quality or availability of what was provided.

The restaurant's food was very tasty. It is just a short walk to some shops, restaurants and the beach (which is not especially worth a visit). Room was spacious and clean.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026La gérante est très sympa et a été très arrangeante avec nous. L’hôtel est propre et la piscine est un vrai plus ! Le restaurant est délicieux. Si vous cherchez un bon butter chicken, ne réfléchissez plus : foncez ! La literie était niquel, nous sommes restés 2 nuits et avons très bien dormi. Gel douche et shampooing sont fournis. L’hôtel est à 5min à pied de la rue des restaurants. Vous y trouverez l’adresse d’un rooftop au bord de plage, parfait pour un cocktail au coucher du soleil. Les restaurants aux alentours sont tous très bons.
Nous avons malheureusement eu un problème avec l’eau chaude. Nous nous sommes douchés à l’eau froide. Cependant, les gérants étaient vraiment désolés et nous ont proposé de nous doucher ailleurs.

Tuvimos que alargar un par de noches porque estábamos atrapados en Sri Lanka sin poder volar y no pusieron ningún problema, hicieron todo lo posible por alargar nuestra estancia y hacernos sentir como en casa, dad la situación se agradece!
