It was on beach and nice area to sit by pool and bar.

It is a bit tired. We upgraded to an early room. Fridge did not work and shower leaked everywhere. It had a comfortable bed which we needed after an early arrival. . It was more or less as we had expected and did what it said on tin

Good service, Outside bar works are very nice and room service good.

Receptionist Hirinte / Herente is very bad service he don't allow my gust to outside bar take identiycard from gust .very very bad.

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences- Avoid I rarely write negative reviews, but my stay at Camelot Beach Hotel left me with no choice. From the moment we checked in, things went wrong. We were shifted across three different rooms because of water leaking from the roof — completely unacceptable for a hotel charging guests for a comfortable stay. The hygiene situation was alarming. Street dogs were wandering freely inside the hotel, and I watched them drinking water directly from the pool — the same pool where my children and I had been swimming. As a parent, this was deeply disturbing and a serious health concern. The reception staff were painfully slow and unhelpful every time we approached them. The worst part: I lost one of my bags during the room shuffle, and when I reported it, they simply said they didn't know anything about it. I asked them to check the CCTV footage, and even that request went nowhere. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. Between the leaking rooms, the unsanitary pool situation, the unresponsive staff, and a lost bag that no one would help me trace, I cannot recommend this place to anyone — especially families with children.

L’hôtel ressemble à une prison

Wij hebben hier maar 1 nacht geslapen. Kamer oké, bed goed. Restaurant goed, eten goed, zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Mooie zwembaden, ligbedden met fatsoenlijke kussens. Mooi zicht op zee vanaf je bedje. Drankje mogelijk bij het zwembad. Ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Wij hadden een behoorlijke vertraging. We konden terug komen bij het hotel, gebruik maken van alles zonder extra kosten! Geweldig. Mooi buitengebied rondom het zwembad.

Het is idd op sommige punten wat verouderd maar dat is geen uitzondering in SriLanka. Zeker de buitenkant (zicht vanaf zwembad) zou een flinke opknapbeurt kunnen gebruiken. Afbreuk van de rest wat er wel gewoon oké uit ziet. Strand is wat minder mooi. Veel troep…. Maar prachtige zwembaden maken dat goed.

Il personale totalmente menefreghista ad ogni richiesta . Ho chiesto un cambiamento sulla prenotazione non mi hanno risposto da booking , da WhatsApp e al telefono. Totalmente indifferenti al nostro arrivo e alla nostra partenza . Camere non come nelle foto che sono state modificate Pavimento sporco Condizionatore perde acqua Alla partenza alle 6 di mattina non si sono nemmeno preoccupati di prepararci un box colazione, dato che era compresa nel prezzo. Ah chicca la rete nei balconi .

החדרים נוראיים בריח של עובש ותחב . המקלחות לא מאווררות ויש עובד נוראי סירחון וחנק שאי אפשר לנשום בחדר. החדר מלוכלך גושי שיער על הריצפה ובנוסף יתושים, כך שאי אפשר לפתוח חלון ואי אפשר כשהכל סגור.

Die Pools sind wirklich schön. Das Meer ist nicht wirklich zum schwimmen aber man kann schön dort liegen mit Blick auf das Meer. Sonst hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen.

Die Bar Leute waren etwas langsam

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Camelot Beach Hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel comfortable from check-in to check-out. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious with a good variety, and the beachside location made our stay even more relaxing. It was a lovely experience with my family, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality. We look forward to visiting again!

Staff at the pool were lovely. Pool is lovely and clean and the towel guy looks after you. Nice to have a pool bar. Plenty of bars and restaurants outside the hotel to visit.

Reception staff werent the friendliest. Price was considerably higher on arrival than quoted on Booking.com! Be aware! The sea is wild and not swimable and the beach is pretty grotty

The location is calm and the view is breathtaking. The people are verry friendly. The room is beautiful and there is a fridge and a safe. The food is delicious.

Vooral het personeel rond het zwembad en zwembadbar waren supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, ze probeerde echt alles te doen om ons zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Echt heel aangename mensen allemaal! Zeker een dikke dankjewel aan Yesu Fernando, hij is echt een grote meerwaarde voor het imago van het hotel!

Be wary of strangers on the beach trying to sell you transport, this is nothing to do with the hotel.

We stayed Two nights and we had a great time. It was on a great location, next to the beach and walking distance to nice bars & Restaurants. staff are friendly, always helpful and attentive. Swimming pool was Nice & clean Where we spent most of our time. Restaurants prices were Reasonable. We hope to stay there again.

Очень уставший отель. Мебель и ремонт уже давно требуют реновации. Система вентиляции, встроенная в номере, работает очень шумно. В некоторых местах номера живут колонии муравьев. Были включены завтраки в стоимость проживания, так вот в те дни когда в отеле было мало посетителей, то завтраки по системе шведский стол были очень скудными, буквально только яичница и кондитерские изделия. Общее впечатление испорчено.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. What truely stood out was the expectional service from the front desk staff. They were super friendly, professional and always ready to assist with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a comfortable stay.

One of my favorite hotels in Negombo.

Stayed here for one night as we arrived late and didn’t want to make the journey to Sigiriya in the dark. We left early the next morning, which unfortunately was probably the best part of our stay. The room itself felt quite tired and not particularly clean. The bathroom looked mouldy and not well maintained, there was a noticeable smell in the room, the balcony had dead cockroaches, and the curtains were dirty and torn in places. A disappointing experience overall, especially as we were simply looking for a comfortable overnight stop before heading on to Sigiriya.

This hotel is very near the airport and right on the beach and nearby restaurants. Breakfast is nice. There is a bar by pool. Probably wouldn't swim in the sea or sit on the beach anywhere in negombo but lovely spot all the same. Room is nice and has everything you need for a reasonable price.

The place was convenient and the receptionist, the restaurant staff were friendly.

The room was very basic, and the bathroom was unclean. The beds were not that comfortable. We had booked for 4 nights. On the first day, there was a variety to choose from, but the other 3 days, the breakfast was disappointing. Eggs made to order that was ok There was cereal but no milk. There was a variety of teas, but there were only milk sachets. We were offered rice and curry, Parrata for breakfast. One website said it was 4 star rating, and another had 3 star rating . The advertising is very misleading. The corridor leading to the rooms was dark, with no lighting . Having to use steps and the lift was not available for the guests, which was a safety concern. The reception and restaurant staff were friendly. The overall stay was disappointing.

Our two couples enjoyed our stay here at the beginning of our Sri Lankan holiday. The place is a little tired but couldn’t fault the service. Breakfast was good especially the local delicacies. Pool well-maintained and we had a great lunch by the bar.

It was a great location. Pool was super nice and staff were friendly! Room was spacious and comfy.

The aircon didn’t work in my first room but they did move me which was nice. The breakfast on the first day wasn’t great, they didn’t have many guest so didn’t put the buffet on. In general the property was a little run down and could do with some sprucing up!

We loved our stay at the hotel. It was our final stop before flying home, and we were looking for somewhere to unwind by the beach—this was exactly that. The hotel is well maintained, and the dinner buffet was a real highlight, with plenty of great options to choose from. Being right by the beach made our last sunset in Sri Lanka feel truly special. Highly recommend it, whether you’ve just arrived or are about to leave the country.

We stayed for one night on arrival in Sri Lanka, very convenient after a long flight as only 20-30mins drive from the airport. Warm greeting, our room wasn't ready as we were early but we were welcome to relax by the pool until it was. Nice large room looking out to pool/beach, a/c & fridge, comfortable bed. A little in need to refurb but nothing bad. The restaurant had good buffet choices for evening & breakfast, attentive staff. Two nice pools, with an outside bar. There was a large screen by the bar showing cricket in the evening (not our thing but it didn't disturb the restaurant ambience where they had a band playing)

Mr. Hiranda and his team made great effort to meet all our needs. From welcoming us to the rooms and choosing the best rooms for my elderly friends to ensuring us each day that we were satisfied. Due to the middleeasten crisis Mr. Hiranda and his team was flexible all the way. Best hotel in Negombo. Ps. We were a group of 16 people from Denmark.

We had an amazing experience at Camlotn Beach Negombo. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and everything was well organized. O had a super b stay at Camelot Beach Hotel. Excellent staff, they couldnt havev been more accommodating. A beautiful setting by the beach with two great swimming pools. The Sangreal Restaurant was exemplary. The freshest of food with the most extensive menus. Delicious Sri Lankan fare and a great variety of other foods also. I can highly recommend this great Hotel and Restaurant

Very nice hotel. Love the swimming pool and the beach. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast and diner is lovely at the Sangreal restaurant. The rooms are a little outdated on the old wing, but it is still fine. Really recommend this place to stay in negombo.

The location is very good for getting to or from the airport, we stayed here for our first night in Sri Lanka after landing at midday. It was a great place to stay after our long flight, especially because we were able to make use of the amazing spa facilities! We booked a head and back massage which was exceptional, and great value for money! The food was amazing too, a buffet style and you can sit looking out to the pool. It's great to be able to just walk to the beach, we had an amazing sunset. It was very windy though so we didn't actually go in the sea. We loved our stay and would recommend! The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and they also decorated the room for us as we were on our honeymoon.

We didn't make use of our balcony because it had a drip so the seats were soaked through, it also had a fan so it was noisy when outside.

Location is great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are dated and grubby but comfortable. Two nice pools, one overlooking the beach . Restaurant Sangreal is excellent. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Great choice, though some wasn’t as hot as it could be. Overall we enjoyed the experience.

Yes right in the beachfront, beautiful sun

Stayed here for one night at the end of our tour of Sri Lanka. The location is good but we felt a little disappointed. Some areas looked a little tired and there did not seem to be any atmosphere! Of all the hotels we stayed in this was by far the most expensive for drinks so we ended up watching the sunset in a bar on the beach. Our evening meal was okay and the staff polite and helpful.
