Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Wonderful location in the heart of Trim, a charming town with many restaurants and a beautiful castle. Check-in was easy, and parking was no bother. The owners are so kind and accommodating. We felt welcomed and at home.
The rooms are very basic, comfortable and spotlessly clean, though renovations seem to be in progress, as there were no hooks, towel bars or toilet roll holder in the bathroom, and windowsills are not painted.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026The location of the Bounty couldn't be beat! Fiona thoughtfully offered to meet us at the car park and check us in early when I shared with her that we were already in town. Parking was close and safe. We were offered the choice of two rooms. The room had ample space and had views of the town. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. We ended up booking the room for another night.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Quaint and cute right next to the oldest bridge, the Trim castle, a stones throw to beautiful tower ruins and walking paths as well as restaurants and bars. The bartender downstairs, Jack was so helpful and kind and you can enjoy a pint with locals before headed up to your bed!

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026The location was excellent - it was noisy in the area with music coming from pubs but in the room it was pretty quiet. The room had everything we needed - the bed was big and so comfortable. Everything was very clean. I didn't get the girl's name that checked us in but she was so nice and helpful and helped me with my luggage and got us a second set of keys.
If you have very heavy luggage the stairs might be difficult.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Very helpful staff, and easy check in and check out. Iron and ironing board provided (just need to ask a member of staff and they will show you where to find it). Perfect location right in the middle of Trim.
Only very minor thing I would mention was the lack of hairdryer in the room, and no hooks for towels in the bathroom. Other than that, the room was fantastic value for money.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026Perfect location - easy to check in when pub is open - otherwise call to make sure host is onsite. Price was right. Good bar downstairs. Easy come and go with room / door keys. I liked this property and would stay again.
For me the bed was too soft - that's personal preference, but just FYI. That was room 5. Our room could use a bit more lighting as well, and I would have liked more control over the heat. The radiator was maxed out and we would have made it a bit warmer given the ability.
