Friendly staff clean

The rooms were warm, with plenty of hot water, and lovely bed linen.

When we arrived, there was no staff to check us in; they were too busy serving in the bar, which caused a delay and this then resulted in us not being allowed to order food in the restaurant. Had we been told that the last orders for the kitchen was 8.45 pm, we could have eaten first before trying to check in. The door handle for the bathroom in room 12 came away from the door when pulled to open. One member of staff was very unfriendly, unhelpful and no way welcoming. We were traveling and staying in the area for a funeral in a nearby town.

Great little place to stay for another golf trip. Booked suite which slept all 4 of us comfottably. Breakfast good choice for all available. Great entertainment on the Sunday night with lively friendly locals all dancing and singing along. My second stay and will be back as location handy to so many great courses.

Parking is on street but no issues getting spots just ensure you get a ticket before 9am if having a lie in lol.

Excellent breakfast, nice restaurant good food and music. Room was a little small and very warm and overlooked yard or smoking area.

Heating should be able to be turned down or off, as hard to sleep . Very cramped ensuite and no soap or shampoo in shower.

Not much to be honest there was a fan and the bed was soft

The room was tiny for the price of €150 and that didn’t even include breakfast, the bed was covered in flies when we went into our room.

A hotel-restuarant-pub combo place that is snug, busy, and well-run. It is ideally located for exploring Trim, especially the nearby castle. The staff was very friendly and the food excellent. Definitely recommended.

The location was convenient, the bed comfortable and the shower good.

Though it was nominally a non-smoking room, the fact that it was immediately adjacent to a smoking area meant that it was impossible to escape the smoke while restaurant customers were present.

A beautiful building full of character, staff were friendly and helpful we hadn't booked breakfast but ate there service was great and lovely freshly cooked food. Lovely quirky courtyard

The staff are fantastic, you couldn't find better. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The food is unbelievable, and it's in a great location ( only 5 minutes from the town)

No lift so if you're not on the ground floor you have to climb the stairs. It's a bit noisy if you are sensitive to noise.

De kamer kom schoner zijn.

Frühstück ist sehr gut, mit freier Auswahl von der Frühstückskarte des Restaurants.

Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Geräuschkulisse bei Live-Musik im PUB bis nach Mitternacht.

Very clean good size bedroom. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a excellant meal. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The food was amazin, the bed was comfy and the live music (Dan O'Gorman) was fantastic.

Our room being off the beer garden and patrons sitting right outside until after 2pm drinking/being noisy.

Dinner - took a while to get waited on.

The location was good, very nice restaurant/ bar & big outside area

I dont mind noise but my room was above the live music which was quite loud so if you want quiet request a room at the back of the hotel

Room was particularly large which was unexpected and a bonus to have somewhere to spread our things out. Bar/restaurant and courtyard area were very nice. Location was perfect.

I probably should have expected (these are rooms associated with a bar/restaurant) that the windows might open to a beer garden and that there would be noise from there. There was. Totally my error, but something for future guests to consider.

Great little rest stop on our route from Dublin to Westport. The 24 hour check in made things easy, the staff great and breakfast delicious !!

We were a bit worried on arrival that it was closed. (It was 1am). But then found the doorbell. A sign or welcoming light would have been great. No other complaints - we loved it.

Stayed in Brogans for our annual family get together. Lovely little spot. Friendly staff, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and right in the middle of the town for a fraction of the cost of neighbouring establishments.

Bel emplacement au centre de la ville de Trim. Proche de tous les lieux intéressants. Assez calme même si la chambre surplombe la cour du pub.

It takes about 15min by walk from bus station and located in city center. All stuff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and charming accommodation!

Didn’t like anything about the place the first thing was meeting the receptions my god I’ve worked in the hotel business all my like she was very rude I know we arrived early and she did get the room ready for two instead of three which we were very grateful for then she was directing us to where our room was I was talking to my daughter on the phone I hung. Up and asking her about the door inside and her reply to me was I’ve already told him not very professional we went up to our room there was a smell in it we had no cold water I wouldn’t be bothered going that rude woman we got charged and went to our wedding where we had started the first night which was fantastic I said to my husband to see if the hotel had any cancellation which he did so we didn’t go back there very disappointed I stayed in the hotel and my husband went back packed up out stuff and checked out never again

The beds were very comfortable, the room was great, lovely and clean too. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was very tasty. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

There were no working fans and it was 40 C in our room upon arrival. The photos were misleading. I understand the heat was unprecedented, however little was done to make it habitable. Great location for viewing castle. Lots of evidence or vermin and bats. I guess we got to live our medieval dreams before a plague. I've never written a "poor" review before and I hope other tourists feel more informed before booking. Oh- and they had a cyber breech before our arrival. Not sure that is their fault however it wasn't the best first impression.

We loved Trim Castle and the village's river walk past numerous Medieval sites.

We stayed in the hotel on one of the nights they have live music. The noise in our room was deafening between the band and the guests in the bar area. The hotel does state that noise can occur, but we never expected it to be as bad as it was. Additionally, half of the lights in our room (3 lights out of 6 total) were not working and the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty.

Our room faced the beer garden but that was no issue at all, couldn’t hear a thing at night. Staff were super welcoming and breakfast was good. Bed was comfy and room was a bit old but clean.

When we first came into our room it was good, but when we came back later in the evening there was a strong musty smell. We weren’t sure exactly what it was and it was about 2am so we didn’t bring it up, but mentioned it the next morning. Staff were very receptive and apologetic and said they’d look into it. This was the only downfall.

Tidy place, room was perfect. Staff were very friendly. I didn’t eat there, as was there for a work trip unfortunately but did look at the menu and was very appealing.

The other guests, they were noisy until around 2/3 in the morning after being down stairs drinking. Not the Hotels fault just the luck of the draw.
