Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Schön eingerichtet in super Lage, das Bett war sehr groß und gemütlich. Wir wurden außerdem sehr freundlich beim Check-in empfangen.
Es wäre super wenn es vielleicht einen Topf bzw. eine Pfanne gegeben hätte, welcher ein klein bisschen größer ist, z.B. wenn man Nudeln für mehrere Leute kocht wäre das echt hilfreich. An unserem letzten Tag gab es leider kein heißes Wasser zum Duschen etc. (Jedoch ist dies wahrscheinlich ein kurzfristiges Problem).

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Tout est impeccable et pensé pour l’accueil des locataires. La literie et oreillers sont fantastiques, grand et d’un confort absolu! Il ya une petite cuisine pour se faire à manger, si on loue la chambre 2. La propriétaire est adorable et nous laisse de quoi prendre le petit déjeuner . La salle de bain est fonctionnelle , avec tous les produits de toilettes disponibles pour notre bien être. L’emplacement est idéal , à côté des magasins pour faire des courses et à 3 min à pied du centre de clifden. C’est déjà notre 2 eme séjour et nous reviendront avec grand plaisir . La propriétaire est très gentille et aux petits soins pour ses locataires .

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Das Zimmer war geräumig, es gab eine separate Küche, die sehr gut ausgestattet war. Auch das Bad war sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Nähe gab es ein sehr gutes Pub (Clifton Station).
Die Einrichtung war schon in die Jahre gekommen.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Host was excellent and assisted in helping us survive the Ireland heat wave of July 2026. Provided fans and opened skylights to allow ventilation. Large king bed and attached bathroom and separate kitchen across the hall.
3rd floor with no windows and skylights that needed assistance to be open. We were a little concerned about egress in the event of an emergency.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Lorna war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sie hat uns sogar noch erlaubt unser Gepäck nach dem Auschecken da zu lassen. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Alles von guter Qualität. Einfach Top! Hätte gerne verlängert.
In der Küche kann man nicht lüften und der Spülkasten braucht lange um wieder voll zu werden, aber das sind Kleinigkeiten die für mich nicht ins Gewicht fallen. Lorna hat einen Air purifier in die Küche gestellt und der Spülkasten funktioniert nur halt nicht perfekt.

Lorna was great with communication, attentive, and helped us with finding the local grocery, shops, and restaurants. We had our own kitchen, which was well stocked. The bed was so comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud. We had everything we needed, plenty of privacy, and it was within walking distance to gas stations, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, churches, and the bus station. We were so happy with our stay, thank you, Lorna!

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026This stay really exceeded my expectations! The place was so clean, warm and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was so quiet too I slept great. It felt more like a mini apartment then a room, I had my own bathroom and my own kitchen/ living room that was very cosy! For the price it was extremely good value for money, I will definitely be recommending it to friends if they ever need a place to stay in Clifden.

Reviewed Dec 26, 2025The location is perfect for getting to Connemara and Sky Road. There is parking out front and I got to Sky Road in 10 minutes (via car) and saw sunrise and sunset each day. The host was super nice and even gave me mini pies! The room was comfortable with a king bed and the kitchen/living room (across the hall) is perfect for 1-2 people. There is an electric stove, microwave, and mini fridge, making it perfect if you want to make breakfast or quick meals.

Bit odd arrangement with Bathroom separate but perfectly fine. Shower curtain needs replacing and there's a little bit of mould spotting on the curtains in the bathroom. All good. Normal wear and tear.

Salle de bain grande et fonctionnelle. Propriétaire très gentille , à l’écoute qui nous a aidé pour trouver un chargeur adapté . Nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain séjour avec plaisir . Reviewed Nov 28, 2025Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage um Connemara zu erkunden. Alles war sehr sauber und bei Ausstattung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Zimmer und die Küche sind schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und der Check-In verlief ohne Probleme. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend! Ich habe mich hier jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt.

I didn’t use the kitchen area, but a nice feature if needed. Only drawback was that I was awoken by others in the house in the morning. Might not be an issue for heavier sleepers, but noise was enough to wake me. Very close to city center.

This is the top floor attic room with en-suite shower room and adjacent lounge/kitchen room for our exclusive use which was an amazing and appreciated facility that enabled the refrigeration of drinks etc and cooking with a hob and microwave (Lidl is a very nearby). The lovely host kindly provided tea, coffee, some milk pods and a biscuit treat, but also a selection of toiletries were in the shower room. The bed was superb. The room was clean, spacious and warm and the location was perfect for a wander into the town centre. We visited four of the local pubs and found amazing live music in three of them (this was a Sunday night). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

La chambre extrêmement propre, avec bouilloire, thé, barres chocolatées, le lit très confortable : une atmosphère cosy et relaxante. La salle de bain était extérieure à la chambre mais privée, et la douche fonctionnait parfaitement (ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas en Irlande). Je note 10/10 !
