Beautiful villas, comfortable bed, great spa , heated main pool was really good. Breakfast was very nice . Staff very young and limited English but it’s no problems. The location is great if you like to switch off completely from the entire world , very quiet and relaxing. Food was good. After all we enjoyed our stay there

The property far away from the ubud so no there’s absolutely nowhere to go out , no restaurants or shops around . No heated pool in villas . No places to walk around after dinner . In and out of your villa only by inclinator to the restaurant or spa , it takes a long time as it’s very very slow. Only one restaurant. We stayed 3 nights and it was more than enough .

Fantastische setting in de jungle rond Ubud. De kamers zijn ruim en hebben hebben een prachtig zicht op het bos en een leuk eigen privé zwembad. De lift van/naar de kamer neemt tijd in beslag, maar is telkens opnieuw een unieke ervaring! Personeel is enorm behulpzaam en de kwaliteit van restaurant is subliem voor zowel lunch/dinner. De massages in de spa zijn ook van een zeer niveau. Ik zou Akohara zeker aanraden voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar een rustig zorgeloos hotel met unieke setting.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Akohara Buahan Village. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We arrived at around 3 AM, and despite the late hour, the team warmly welcomed us with snacks and cold sandwiches. The check-in process was smooth and effortless, and the staff took care of our luggage and brought everything to our room. The room was very spacious, clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly integrated into the jungle surroundings. We had a private pool, and despite being surrounded by nature, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t encounter any bugs in the room or experience any disturbances at night. We also informed the hotel that we were on our honeymoon, and the team truly went above and beyond. They decorated our room, prepared a dessert for us on two different nights, offered complimentary laundry, provided a complimentary transfer, and even treated us to a 15-minute complimentary massage. These thoughtful gestures made our honeymoon feel genuinely special. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was also a highlight of our stay. The food was very good, the staff were incredibly attentive, and they consistently checked on us to make sure everything was okay. Another great feature is the range of complimentary daily activities, including morning cycling through a beautiful local village, morning yoga, and other activities that allow you to enjoy the surrounding nature and local culture. Overall, the service was truly top-notch from beginning to end. Every member of the team was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They didn’t just provide a great hotel experience—they made our honeymoon memorable. Highly recommended. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious and genuinely personalized experience in the jungle, Akohara Buahan Village is an excellent choice.

Fantastisch mooi hotel die afgelegen in de jungle ligt met een adembenemend uitzicht!

1. ze zijn de kamer binnen gelopen terwijl ik naakt in bed lag, terwijl de lampje op rood stond en hadden via whatsapp aangegeven om te avond service te skippen. 2 In de eerste 24 uur 2 keer moeten verhuizen omdat niet de kamer was waarvoor we hadden betaald. De uitzicht van ons zwembad was volledig geblokt. 3. Mijn man kreeg een foto van zijn ondergoed gestuurd met cirkel om de kruis dat er een vlek in zat en dit was echt 1 van meeste trieste wat we ooit hebben meegemaakt. 4. De lift had 4 X in de 6 nachten storing, waardoor wij 150 treden naar beneden en 150 weer naar boven moesten lopen. 5. Kregen foto’s van was van ander kamer en op de vragen die ik stelde over mijn was, kreeg ik reactie als dat niet mogelijk was om laat uit te checken??! 6. Hele week met deze mensen lopen appen, dus lastig gevallen. Dus de privacy en rust die je ze beloven voor 380 euro per nacht word 0 waargemaakt. Ze weigerden 2 nachten terug te betalen, want het is immers normaal dat ze je kamer binnen komen lopen, terwijl je naakt op bed ligt of dat je foto van je ondergoed krijgt. ( zie foto’s en video waar je dit terug kan zien, alleen je moet de volgorde even zelf puzzelen) ze hebben ons 2 diners en ik heb een massage van 90 min gekregen en ze vonden dat dit genoeg was. De general manager heeft het fatsoen niet gehad om ons te woord te staan na zoveel ellende in 6 nachten en we moesten het met de front office manager/assisten doen! Hebben nooit zo voor schut gestaan met ons geld en zoveel meegemaakt in 6 nachten en dat een zogenaamde luxe resort als dit , niet eens de fatsoen heeft gehad om dit op een passende manier te compenseren. Alle lof voor Booking.com en Demi die ons fantastisch hebben geholpen en menselijk begrip hebben getoond en achter ons hebben gestaan in deze sitautie. Booking.com heeft ons naar tevredenheid gecompenseerd uit eigen zak en dat waarderen wij enorm als trouwe klant van Booking.com EEN DIKKE 1 VOOR HET HOTEL EN EEN DIKKE 10 VOOR BOOKING.COM EN DEMI

Este pur și simplu un colț de paradis! Exact ca în poze, în mijlocul junglei. Am ajuns noaptea și nu am văzut mare lucru în jur. Dimineața când am deschis ochii m-am trezit cu o priveliște incredibilă. Breakfastul a fost excelent. Personalul amabil și foarte săritor! Recomand!

Piscina din cameră nu este încălzită. În iunie a fost puțin rece apa… dar asta nu m-a împiedicat să fac baie! În plus cada în aer liber compensează.

Fantastisk resort med den mest vidunderlige stemning. Skønt beliggenhed på en skråning i regnskoven. Super lækker mad og hotellet tilbyder en række gratis aktiviteter, der skifter hver dag - fx yoga, meditation, cykeltur i rismarkerne mv. gratis shuttelbus til Ubud flere gange dagligt. Men det mest fantastiske er personalet, der er så søde og smilende og spreder god stemning uanset hvor du er på resortet. Tøv ikke med at booke!

Just had a 2 hour drive to get there, through a lot of traffic and as I’m an animal empath it’s difficult seeing all the dogs - some suffering ones as well.

Excellent service. Beautiful hotel (very impressive how it was built in that location) with great view to the jungle. You are right inside the tropical forest and get a real feel of the Balinese nature. This is a retreat hotel meaning you’ll preferably stay there for peace and quiet, get connected with the nature and the local traditions, self-reflection and wellbeing. I’d highly recommend Akohara Buahan Village Retreat if you want to make a gift to yourselves while being in Ubud. Last but not least its value for money!

The elevator was a bit slow and we sometimes moved around using the stairs when we were in a rush, otherwise I cannot find anything negative to say.

Micul dejun servit intr-o nota eleganta , cu o priveliste de exceptie, un serviciu ireprosabil.Se serveste "a la carte" dar este o experienta unica. ''Inclinatorul" din locatie da o nota speciala locului si atitudinea personalul o nota de liniste si calm oricarei zile. Atentia la detalii creaza un loc plin de frumos.Camera a fost bine impartita - piscina intretinuta zilnic, seara primesti un "dulce" intr-o cutioara sub forma de inimioara care iti infrumuseteaza seara.La locatie serviciul de "laundry" este foarte bun si merita folosit.
