Die Lage ist prima, wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist und weiterreisen möchte. Daa Zimmer war geräumig, sehr sauber und das Bett bequem.

Die Gastgeber sprechen nur schlecht Englisch. Leider wurde mir die Gemeinschaftsräume nicht gezeigt,sodass ich durch die Privaträume geirrt bin auf der Suche nach einem Kühlschrank. Leider war niemand erreichbar. Die Küche für die Gäste ist sehr klein,dunkel und nicht sehr sauber. Ich würde da keine Freude am Kochen empfinden. Es ist eher ein Abstellraum. Das Haus ist überfrachtet mit Dekoration und es riecht überall (trotz Parfüm) nach Katzenurin.

Good location, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The room is nicely decorated.

The room is quite small, and the mattress is too firm, which makes it difficult for us to sleep comfortably. The shared bathroom next door is also inconvenient, as the guests in the neighboring room frequently knock on the door while we are using it.

Our flight was cancelled, and the rebooked flight also got delayed due to technical issues, so we arrived close to 3am. Yet the host was so understanding and stepped out to greet us and show us to our room less than a minute after our cab dropped us off. That's nothing short of exceptional! We're grateful that we were able to settle in after hours of waiting and delays. We only stayed for a few hours and we wish we'd had time taken a closer look at the garden and the nicely decorated home.

Nothing to complain about. The sink wasn't draining but I'm sure that's something the host would've fixed in no time had we informed her during the day.

The bathroom situation at shared houses like this are less than ideal as one can easily lock another guest out of the shared bathroom, which happened to me. I had to knock on the bathroom door late at night so I could get the person in the adjoining room to unlock it. Additionally, I didn't realize this was a guest room in someone's house, it was a large house where each room was turned into a guest room -- sort of like a house hotel. The vibe of that just didn't feel good. My room was at the house next door, not at the address I was given which felt confusing/misleading. Part of what drew me to the property was the beautiful garden, but since my room was at the house next door, the yard looked nothing like the featured image in the listing.

Beautiful property inside and out. Biscuits, cookies, fruit awaiting you in your room. Wonderful find so close to the airport yet no airplane noise at all! Very accommodating hostess!

Keukenuitrusting erg summier, bestek dient te worden aangevuld. Gastvrouw reageert niet op mail. Na directe vraag werd zeer snel gereageerd. Gehorig voor geluiden van buren. Koffiezetapparaat is aan vervanging toe, lekt en werkt niet altijd correct.

Nous avons passé une nuit avant de rejoindre l’aéroport. Chambre située dans la maison de nos hôtes. Bon accueil et chambre très spacieuse et confortable. Le quartier est résidentiel et très calme.

The cleanness

The toilet is shared and some guests are noisy at night and this decreases the seeping quality. It is expensive for what they offer

I did appreciated the hosts who welcomed me in person and helped me with my luggage, I allo love their cats, and the fact that they didnt let them stay in the guests' rooms so to avoid problemi in case of allergy

The place was super cute and spacious. It was the perfect place for us to spread out for a couple of days and re-pack before leaving Vancouver. It was cozy and comfortable, and it truly felt like a sweet home. The price was right!, and the location was great for the airport and ferry.

You can def tell you are sharing the property with a large family. We came home after exploring for the day to what smelled like dead fish, though we know it was likely the family had cooked some kind of seafood. Having to have the windows open on hotter days makes this not so fun. Also, hearing someone tromping around in the gravel outside your window late at night isn’t the greatest, either, though this was brief. We ran out of toilet paper and there wasn’t a back up roll, so had to ring the family front door to get a new roll and a teenage boy awkwardly answered and brought it out.

Beautiful quiet neighborhood and less than a 10 minute drive to the quaint Steveston Seaside Wharf.

The home is heavily perfumed. Too much for me, so I had to keep the windows in my room open during the day and at night.

Huoneisto oli todella siisti ja viihtyisä - olisimme mielellämme viipyneet pidempäänkin! Vuode oli muhkea ja hyvä nukkua, pienessä keittiössä olisi voinut kokkailla ja kauniista kylpyhuoneesta löytyi myös pyykinpesukone. Kaikki oli tiptop - puhdasta. Suloinen yllätys oli myös erilaiset pikkukeksit ja hedelmät saapuessamme majapaikkaan. Ystävällinen rouva otti meidät iloisena vastaan, vaikka saapumisemme meni myöhäiseen lennon myöhästymisen takia. Alue vaikutti hyvin rauhalliselta. Olisimme halunneet tutustua majapaikan kauniiseen puutarhaan, mutta valitettavasti meidän piti kiirehtiä jatkolennolle jo heti aamusta.

Majoitusaikamme jäi liian lyhyeen.

Very welcoming and beautiful

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Everything was so thoughtful, with a personal touch and lots of care. The place is cozy, comfortable, and full of little details that make you feel at home — even fresh blueberries as a special treat! We already want to come back and will definitely recommend it to friends.

Behulpzaamheid van de eigenaren. Kregen een schaal bosbessen uit eigen tuin aangeboden. In de kamer was aanwezig: appels, bananen, diverse versnaperingen, koffie, thee, flesjes water. Prima koelkast zonder lawaai. Was/droog machine. Schitterende, heel goed onderhouden, tuin waar we mochten relaxen.

Ingang en enig raam(pje) aan smal gangetje. En zicht op een enorme grijze muur op +/- 2 meter tegenover het raam. Gezien het enorme huis, viel de grootte van de kamer erg tegen.

We had a brilliant stay here. It is a really beautiful house in a lovely area, relatively close to the airport.The owner/host was really lovely (we didn't speak much due to language barrier however you could feel the hospitality and kindness). There were lovely touches in the room, such as chocolates etc. and the host brought us some fresh fruit when we arrived.The room was very clean and well presented. We had access to our own kitchen and a shared bathroom, both of which were very clean and nice. We had our own entrance directly on to the garden.

cozy, lots of amenities: wifi, washer/dryer, small kitchen and fridge, little desk.. comfy bed... safe neighborhood. I arrived late at night, but owners came out and even helped me bring my luggage inside...

only negative was a strongly scented air freshener plugged in, and I unplugged it..

Really nice room in a house, way better than most hotels, private, ultra clean and in a very nice area. Host is perfect and I cant reccomended it enough.

The room was thoughtfully appointed. While we didn’t stay long enough to cook meals the kitchen was very well laid out and we will take advantage next time we’re there (four burner gas cooktop, rice cooker; microwave; kettle; lots of cookware and utensils). Excellent shower; lovely complimentary toiletries; very comfortable bed. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and guests are welcome to sit and take it all in. Don’t miss this feature. The fresh blueberries and cherries were an unexpected but very welcome treat.

Offering was less than the usual amenities we have had at all previous places where we stayed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and one us even woke up with a backache from the uncomfortable sleeping area. No tv in our area, which was a first on that usually provided amenity from the many places we have previously stayed. There were no plugs available/even accessible for charging our devices in our area. No wash clothes available to use. Just overall a lot less comfort and amenities we have at any other of the many places we have stayed before this incident. And the WiFi was extremely spotty as well, basically useless in any way.

Comfortable, clean, welcoming, helpful and kind

Alle faciliteiten waren aanwezig en het was in een leuke wijk (wel ver van Vancouver, zonder auto kom je hier niet). Ook was het heel schoon.

De straal die uit de douche kwam was heel zacht, dus om shampoo uit je lange haren te wassen was niet te doen. Ook was het erg gehorig. Maar het ergste was de eerste nacht. Wij waren op tijd gaan slapen vanwege de jetleg, maar om 22:00 (wat een absurde tijd is om nog te storen) werd er meermaals hard op de deur geklopt door de mannelijke eigenaar. Ik schrok er wakker van en dacht dat er iets ergs aan de hand was, wat niet was. Daarna hebben we lang niet kunnen slapen omdat er hard met de buurvrouw buiten voor onze deur werd gepraat. Dit vonden we dus heel onvriendelijk en zouden het niet aanraden, want we waren elke nacht weer bang dat hij zo zou aankloppen.

Very clean and Annie was an amazing and welcoming host. After a long and tiring travel day she made sure we had everything we needed. Bed is super comfortable.

Only suggestion would to add a hairdryer in the bathroom, but was not a big deal for us ;)

Very beautiful and spacious house and super kind hosts

The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet; I had a good night's sleep. I didn't miss having a TV. The hostess Emily was cheerful and friendly.

When I arrived at the home, and rang the doorbell, a young boy came to the door - he seemed surprised that I was there. A man came to the door and seemed confused and a little annoyed that I was there, even though I said I had a reservation. I felt quite unwelcome. The man phoned Emily, who took over and made me feel welcome. The shared bathroom was inconvenient - in the morning the door either jammed or the other people forgot to unlock it, so I was unable to use it. I gave up and checked out. I would not rent a room with a shared bathroom again.
