Richmond Vancouver Airport Comfy Home

The coffee was great

Nothing

Pros: great location and fair price.

Cons: room was cold upon arrival, but a space heater was provided.

Localisation. Accueil gentil. Bonne communication.

Pas vraiment de déjeuner. Aucune insonorisation. Rapport qualité-prix.

Breakfast was cold cereal and there wasn't even a TV in my room. Worst B&B I've stayed in

We were very disappointed with the property

Did not disclose that they wouldn’t take my child on their shuttle until the day of the trip, as I was getting on the plane to fly home. Had to rebook to accommodations with shuttle service. Added stress to an already stressful day.

I arrived late but instructions were excellent to self service.

Host was very good to work with. Clear communication and checking in and out was super flexible and easy!

My stay was on the quiet side for 2 days. Easy for transportation on the public bus to the city centre. Area is a nice quiet neighborhood!

Patrick was most helpful vis-a-vis leaving our luggage prior to check in; advice re the transit system; answering various questions we had. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

While Patrick was cordial, we found him quite impersonal. The unit was quiet and comfortable. The bed was clean as were all of the linens… However, the walls and baseboards, in particular in the bathroom and shower area was not clean. Heavy dust on baseboards and door moldings, as well as cobwebs and human hair around the shower and behind the bathroom door.

Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. Clean, free coffee and cereal. Very friendly owners I enjoyed my stay very much.

Richard and Vickie were friendly, welcoming hosts. Place was clean and fresh

I loved having the slide door to the outside in my room. Shared kitchen and bathroom space. Worth the money to stay. In and out way to go. No tv a quiet place. Would recommend and you get to leave a note to put on the wall afterwards.

Nice clean room with a comfy beds. Located in a quiet neighbourhood. Good value, would stay again.

Very clean place to live

We were happy to Share the bathroom with our Friends and not with other people. We Could not understand why people praise the breakfast. The coffee was good.

Petit déjeuner basic, seulement des céréales, du lait et du café. Un réfrigérateur, un micro-onde et une machine à café dans la cuisine commune. Endroit très tranquille, bon matelas, propriétaire gentil.

Prix dispendieux.

This was in a quiet neighborhood with easy bus/train access to downtown. We appreciated Patrick's help in negotiating transportation and suggestions for activities. It was also great to have transport from the airport and to the cruise terminal. All in all a nice stay.

The entrance is dark and ugly, the “common eating area is so unattractive. The host was kinda rude at the beginning. After I said I didn’t like his tone of voice he changed.

Pleasant staff. Comfortable beds and clean bedding, nice blankets. Need to put darker curtains, too bright in early morning. There’s a toaster there, but no bread or jam. Only two kinds of cereals for breakfast. Probably more hooks on the wall for clothes. They let us check in earlier, very appreciated . We had a nice stay. Thanks

The bed was very comfy

Great staff. Room was very small esp compared to those pictured. 1 bathroom that was used for over 25 minutes and couldn't use restroom prior to leaving. thattonslllpictured

The date was not good. I booked So.6 juli till Mo. 7 jui. They changed it in Mo till Th. My flight was Mo. I tride to change but that was not possible. and I did not get money back. They told me. I stil wayt on it.

My host was not

The property is clean and quiet. Two rooms shared bathroom across the living area which doesn’t go well with me. There were no tv and iron provided but Patrick was nice, allowed me to use the dryer at the hallway to smoothen my clothes. Overall, It’s a nice place to stay for the price.

The other person in the room next door was very noisy and I had to go tell them to be quiet at 2 am. Otherwise it was fine, serviceable and clean enough.

Thanks to Vickie and Patrick for being good hosts during and way after the trip!! They were very accomodating and very helpful when things didn’t go as expected towards the end of the stay!

The host was very friendly and communicated well. I felt safe and well looked after. The room was perfect, i was able to sleep well in a comfy bed. The neighbourhood was quiet and close to buses or i was able to enjoy my walks to get food or have a couple of beers at the bar down the way where the staff were also wonderful. My host Patrick was very accomodating when it came to picking me and dropping me to the airport, which i am very grateful for. I would highly recommend this location for anyone who wants a home away from home experience and will likely be returning back again myself.

There is nothing that i didnt like.

Not what I had expected for the cost. I checked out after a few hours and was not offered a refund. The room is downstairs in the hosts house and is in need of a refresh. Tacky signs pasted to the walls everywhere with instructions and you can hear all the noises from upstairs, impossible to get any rest.

It’s a cozy place and quiet. It’s a bit of distance to the airport but the area is safe and lots of restaurants and stores close by

it is very comfortable, feels like home.

The owner of the property was friendly and accommodating. He went out of his way to meet our extra transportation and housing needs for which we were truly grateful. He was knowledgeable about tourism, restaurants and shopping in the area .

Another great stay with Patrick and Vicki. Patrick took us to the airport to pick up our rental car. Comfortable. Recommended for proximity to the Airport, and to public transport (which takes you right into the centre of Vancouver with a minimum of effort

Patrick and Vicki were ideal hosts. Patrick did airport pickup and cruise drop off, and was so helpful with all sorts of information. The room was comfortable and breakfast facilities were very welcome.

Clean, comfy and convenient. I enjoyed my stay very much!

Patrick was ready to make our stay well

Recommend for overnight layovers or short visit to the area. Priced well. Comfortable and quiet. Coffee, tea, cereal and milk available plus small appliances should you wish to bring food. Excellent shuttle service for fee. Well worth it.

Just like home! Very peaceful and close to everything you need.

Pretty fair for the price

Good price

Amazing place! Felt like home

Friendly hosts. Comfortable sleeps every night. Quiet and cozy place.

Comfortable

A little too expensive

Bathroom was iffy. Bed was great.

The instructions for getting to the house from the recommended public transport, was very vague and not useful. Road names to walk and follow were not included. There were a few small bedrooms in a basement. Continental breaskfast was fine and generous. Restaurants were a 15 min walk away.

Firstly, didn’t realize that we had a shared bathroom. There was a room with a private bath, which is I guess what we were thinking we were getting. We are older and that wasn’t exactly the best for us. The bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable to sleep in, we did need a couple interesting people and that made this stay worth it. Also, there was no bath mat for the floor so if you stepped out of the shower, you were dripping onto the floor we met Patrick, who let us in and he was quite nice to get to the bathroom, you have to pass by people who might be eating breakfast, which made it a little awkward in the morning. If those things don’t bother you, I guess it was OK.

excellent service! clean and quiet

Good location, Prabhu Bhai, the owner was a very good host.

The choice of breakfast items could have been better. All were sweet items. Porridge "Original" flavour(plain, no sugar products added), simple boiled eggs & plain bread, or croissants would have made a big difference 😋 & enjoyable.

Very comfortable room, assistance with transport and a nice breakfast. Very nice hosts and convenient location.

Awesome

Clean, airport transfer

'Total Price' should mean total price, not an extra $60+ shakedown when you arrive. $25 for the airport shuttle (total, not ea) was fair, but the owner came down to our room in the evening to check that we paid (we did - to him directly less than 2 hrs ago) and the time (hadn't changed and was agreed to, with him, less than 2 hrs ago). Doors do not block any sound. Also, somehow warming a croissant in the microwave almost caused a fire (I don't know how long the other guest put the croissant in for - maybe it was their fault, not the ancient microwave?) No fire extinguisher visible in the 'kitchen' and I did not see the owner come down and check on things. Mostly pretty clean, but quarterly deep cleaning is a thing (pic is of bedroom window).

The room was comfortable and clean! The bathroom is a shared room, but besides that it was excellent

The host was friendly and respectful. The place is clean.

If you don’t have a car and plan to use public transportation, this location is not very convenient. The place had an unfinished feel, and everything was very basic. The breakfast was disappointing—eggs were left out for two days, and the options were limited to bananas, peanut butter, jam, cereal, and bread, which don’t make for a substantial meal. A better breakfast with options like omelets, sausages, and cheese would be a big improvement. For the price, the service and overall experience didn’t match expectations.

This B&B was dirty, in need of painting & updating and we were not comfortable staying here. It was way over priced and we were not impressed when we had to pay even more “cash” when we arrived.

Room is too small for family and owner charges extra just for kids! Very cheap indeed! Not recommended for families!

Good recommendation!!!

Excellent location.

The air conditioning unit in the room was a little noisy., but it worked well.

Our stay at Vickie’s Bed and Breakfast was exceptional. The service was top-notch, and Patrick was both professional and attentive, ensuring all our primary needs were met with great care. The area is peaceful and safe, making it a perfect spot for a restful night, especially if you’re in transit. However, if you’re hoping to do some shopping, you'll need a car, as there aren’t any stores nearby, and the nearest shopping area is a 15 to 20-minute drive away.

Good location, clean

Breakfast could have been a bit more comprehensive,

Staff was very nice, only one bathroom and more of a hostel than a B & B. Thanks for the bananas.

It was fine but the ad stating breakfast was overstated - bread for toast, dry cereal and bananas…

Neighbourhood looks fancy & safe

The building doesn’t look safe

Lovely place, was picked up and dripped off at locations needed which was fab

The owner Patrick was very helpful. On our checkout day, he let us leave a lot of stuff at his place so we could pick up at a later time that day. He also helped move those stuff.

Clean , quiet, easy to go shopping.

Great B&B!

I like the availability of services they offer like the trip to the airport. also I made a mistake on the reservation and they corrected it at no cost. I will be staying there every time I go to Vancouver

The host is very friendly and accommodating. Let us check in early. The room is a bit small and we got the room with private bathroom. The shower is very narrow and not easy to use but we were there for only 1 night so no big deal. Surrounding is very quite as it is residential area. Walking distance to a park. The host also provide transportation to guests to airport, ferry, etc, which is a plus if you do not have a car.

The mattress

Window curtains were thin and did not make the room dark for sleeping. The windows need block out curtains so that tired guests can sleep. Sun rose, early. Very small area for dining. Crowded if there are 3 people.

Convenient location, easy to walk to everything clean comfortable

Nothing

There was no service, I stayed for 3 days and there was no room cleaning. The room outside smelled like mold. And the breakfast is very poor bread and milk. But the only good thing is that there is an egg every day. Overall, very bad, not recommended unless you are looking for a cheap room!

The place was convenient.

Noise in the house. share with owner and other travelers. Not quite. noisy neighbors

It's clear and quiet.

The house is located on a quiet Richmond neighbourhood, on a cul-de-sac, very peaceful suburb but within walking distance to a strip mall with everything you may need. There are 2 bus routes nearby, the #303 and #308 -- both go to Richmond-Brigghouse Station of the Canada Line for easy connection to either downtown or YVR airport. The room is bright and spacious, we had a private bathroom and it was small but efficient. Would be nice to have a removable shower head as the shower stall is very tight, and so the water splashes on the bathroom floor very easily when you turn it on! Overall a good value for high season's accommodation for Vancouver area.

clean, quiet

It is really clean and comfortable. The check in was fast and friendly.

Very nice host.

It’s someone’s basement — dirty rooms that need a deep clean and a paint … The walls are super thin, so if anyone is staying next to you… Good luck sleeping

an Affordable option in Vancouver, and 15 mins from airport, keurig coffee & quality fresh bread / croissants for morning and lots of late night order in options near by for food. Not a luxury stay, but very clean & everything you need to feel comfortable. No tv’s but wifi available Will shuttle you for close to same as an Uber. I approve this place and would recommend and stay again.

quiet,clean

Bed comfortable. Picked up at airport.

no tv in room. Breakfast - choice 2 cereals, roll, toast, banana

Bed and breakfast was clean and quiet. Breakfast spread was also great! Thank you for an affordable stay near Vancouver! Also great recommendations for food by Patrick! If you're in the area on a weekend the Richmond Night Market was great!

The availabality of Patrick and all the other services offered.

No bread or croissant the last morning.
