The room was great, the check in information was provided the afternoon of, as I was getting in late. Quick and easy to get in to the building and my room. Some people mentioned the street noise, i was there in off season, there was some loud noise, but I think you'd need to find somewhere very off road to not hear noise in mexico. Didn't bother me.

Everything was great. The suite no 5 had everything, comfy huge bed and so much room.

The terrace had a nice vibe. The location is amazing, close to the boardwalk as well as several good restaurants. The room was clean and charming and very comfortable. And after a long day of sightseeing in the warm weather coming back to the well air conditioned room was a relief!

The acoustics were a little strange, so some sounds seemed louder than they probably were. But the guests seemed to respect the quiet time and I didn't have any trouble sleeping.

I love everything about this hotel every time I fly into Puerto Vallarta this is my go to because it’s close to everything and very convenient and also very comfortable!

Ein absoluter Traum! Persönlicher Empfang, super Kommunikation und ein herrliches Gebäude mit Dachterrasse. Eine ganz offene Atmosphäre im Haus- man fühlt sich willkommen. Das Zimmer hat alles was man braucht- Klimaanlage, Ventilator, dunkle Vorhänge und viele nette Kleinigkeiten. Drei Minuten bis zum Strand. Eine große Empfehlung.

Right in the heart of Malecón. Walking distance to anything you need. Beautiful rooms and rooftop view. They really make you feel at home here. Stayed in Suite 3 which is directly on the street where the Frida portrait is and I loved it. Easy in and out access and super cold AC in the rooms. Was able to shop at the local markets and cook a little in the room which was nice. I’ll be staying here every single time I come to Puerto Vallarta! See you soon

Very central. For those who want to cook you have a small private kitchen. Decoration is why i booked this place with such a Mexican vibe.

If you are a early sleeper becareful because you are in the City center on a main street and because Puerto Vallarta is a party place it can be noisy. So bring ear plugs to help ..a little bit

El estilo, mas agradable de lo esperaba por el precio de la habitación. El confort, internet, televisión, aire acondicionado y ventilador, mucha ventilación, tranquilo.

Como llevaba mi propio vehículo y estaba lloviendo, el estacionamiento fue problema, encontré donde estacionarme, pero, pero fue complicado moverme por las calles llenas de agua con maletas.

Toooodo estuvo excelente. Cuidan cada detalle, desde la decoración, la comodidad y todo lo necesario en un viaje. Está a solo 2 cuadras del Malecón. Sin duda volveré a reservar ahí.

Francisco was very helpful. I mentioned the pillows were horribly hard, and he had them changed out for me.

The cobblestone road out front of the hotel is loud, like really noisy. The beach is very rocky and small.

Qué pudimos estar juntos toda la familia, fuimos un grupo númeroso (18), la comodidad y los complementos de las habitaciones, la terraza fue excelente para poder compartir con todos y la cercanía a todo lo que necesitamos (tiendas, malecón, comida).

Qué en esta ocasión fue solo un día el que estuvimos, nos gustaría volver y hospedarnos más días.

Very clean. They provided free 2 bottle water, small shampoo and conditioner, bar soap, towels, 4 pillows. There is a kitchenette with some basic appliances. Loved the 2 rooftops. The place is one block from the malecón. We will return to this place.

The noise at night from outside because the place is located near a Main Street. Also, the sewer smell that came from the sink and the shower but we fixed by placing plastic bags with water. Bring some earplugs if you are sensitive to the noise.

Cozy studio in a great location close to the esplanade, restaurants and beach. Well equipped and decorated studio, roof terrace is nice to chill on. Everything was great and the staff super friendly.

Every night since 10 Pm business around allowed their safety alarms to sound non stop until 7 Am. Couldn’t sleep and I have to keep the TV on to distract myself from the annoying sounds

Es un lugar mágico. Tiene esencias hermosas que hacen de un ambiente, uno excepcional: plantas, color, vistas, limpieza, orden, sonrisas y amabilidad. Todo parece puesto, bien puesto, con una bella intención. Lo recomiendo profundamente. Felicidades.

A beautiful, clean, good sized & neat apartment with ensuite & private kitchen, great hot shower, good location- near malecon.

Only 1L of drinking water provided, no hand towels, threadbare & stained towels, front door key pad is very loud- I hear everyone who uses it & when they open the building’s front door my door rattles due to air pressure changes, can hear TV in other room, dark apartment due to only one small window- so need at least one light on at all times of day, many other guests make lots of noise coming back to the hotel at 4-5 am, Francisco can only be reached on whatsapp and does not always respond in a timely manner, overpriced.

Nos encantó como estaba todo decorado, con mucha atención a los detalles. Sobre todo nuestra habitación que ya estaba con música y aire acondicionado prendido cuando llegamos. Todo estaba muy limpio y las camas eran cómodas.

A mi esposo le costó dormir por qué debido a q se encuentra muy cerca del centro en la calle de afuera pasan muchos autos y personas durante toda la noche y hacen ruido que las ventanas no alcanzan a tapar.

Todo me parecio increíble, la ubicación, comodidad, además es lindo, de la terraza se ve el mar, no se escucha el caos de los antros apesar de la cercanía y pasa varias opciones de transporte público, excelentes opciones de restaurantes cerca, facil la forma de accesar al hotel, en fin una linda experiencia

Room was spacious and love the bright colours. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed. Very walkable to the action and only a short taxi to the port.

Close to the main road so can be a little loud if you are a light sleeper.

In a very touristy city, this place is truly an escape. The bed was very comfortable. The television was large and had some free programming. The rooftop is a great place to glimpse the ocean and the sunset. The host was very accommodating. There is plenty of room to unpack and store luggage. The walls are soundproof. I had no idea there were children watching cartoons in the room next door until I went into the hallway and heard it. The location was excellent for me because I wanted to be close to the beach.

My one complaint is that there was not a hand towel in the bathroom. The room only comes with 2 bath towels.

Location was good - near to Malecon, and the rooftop terrace was nice, and it was nice to have a kitchen with a refrigerator.

A number of issues with this place: 1) only bath towel provided - no hand towels, no wash cloths; TP holder was falling off .... 2) Could use much more shelf space and towel racks - plenty of room to do so, but only one hook on a large wall, and a tiny shelf above the sink. 3) Not well insulated from noise - I could hear people talking in other rooms, and walking above me 4) Overall, not very appealing room for me. Others may be OK.

This was my second time staying at Casa Colibri. I love PV more & more each time I go, & I'd continue staying at Casa Colibri. There's nothing I didn't like

Property was in an excellent location,. Right in the Malacon, close to beach 🏝️ and night clubs n restaurants and boardwalk

We had to go upstairs to get to room which was fine for us but if you had a disability it would be difficult

Being able to have a street level entrance was fantastic! The suite we rented (Duplex Studio) was spacious, had everything we needed, a very comfortable bed, and a huge bathroom. There were few windows but that was actually a blessing as that blocked out so much of the outside noise and there was plenty of lights and lamps to make it lit and cozy. We slept great especially with the separated bedroom in the back corner with its own A/C unit. There was a bed in there instead of the foam folding couch thing we saw in the pictures which was a very nice surprise! It was very comfortable with lots of pillows for us to lounge and relax when we weren't out exploring. The rooftop patio was stellar. I was able to get great wifi up there and do work when needed. In the evening the lights were beautiful and we got a great view of the fireworks from the pirate ship off the Malecon. There is an ATM right on the corner, a very cheap spa with massages on the other corner, the Malecon is so close and we walked to Casa Ley for groceries without an issue. Common area and kitchen was nice but we didn't need to use it. Francisco was amazing, very communicative and helpful. Made sure to let us know about an issue with the safe before hand and already had a fix lined up. Reached out to us to arrange our free clean because we were there for a week. Even tried to help make the wifi better (I think it's the one downside to being in the bottom corner of the building). We will ABSOLUTELY try to stay here again when we come back. Amazing home base, close to everything, and very affordable.

Room needs its own wifi router. Doesn't get a good signal from the ones upstairs and cell signal is weak inside so we couldn't really use our mobile as a hotspot to much greater affect. Thankfully, the rooftop has excellent service and was comfy and easy to use when we needed to.

La ubicacion, la terraza, la habitacion es comoda y los atardeceres son muy bonitos, francisco la persona encargada del lugar es una persona muy atenta, educada y amable, me volveria a quedar en casa colibri sin pensarlo.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was fantastic. I really enjoyed the common spaces and the roof top seating area with a view of the ocean. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and helpful.

The motorized lock on the outside door beeped loudly in the night when other guests would come home. It would echo in the hall and wake us up especially when the guests didn’t lock the door behind them. The lock would try to engage, but would get stuck and continue to constantly beep. There were 2 nights that I had to get up and fix the front door to make it stop.

Francisco was a gentleman and was right there when I checked in The place is full of colour and plants, beautiful roof top patio Fresh water was plentiful and the room was very cute and comfortable They provide coffee and sugar with a coffee machine in your room. There is a kitchen shared by everyone. It is a block from the Malecon but it is quiet in the building There are little markets in walking distance and restaurants.

Our stay here was fantastic, we had suite 15 which is on the roof terrace. The rooms are colourful and tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the location was ideal just a couple of.blocks from the malecón.

Really there wasn't anything to be unhappy about, check-in was easy, our host was very responsive and the room was great. If I were to get fussy the only thing is the room is maybe not dark enough for sleeping.

Casa Colibri Malecon is a gem. I almost don't want to review it so positively because I don't want to share this secret! Location is great, roof decks are great, room and bathroom is great!

So few things to dislike. The suites don't have much natural light but that's the trade off with the size of the room.

Beautiful art/murals, comfy bed, great location, great price, exceptional views from the rooftop terrace!
