Super endroit, avec des animaux, tout ce qu'on mange est très bon et du jardin. très bel endroit ! legens qui y sont sont supers sympas.

Le cadre est exceptionnel, la verdure et une biodiversité exceptionnelle. La hutte est super cosy, la présence d'Oreo est un plus ! L'ambiance du lieu est reposante et le personnel bienveillant. La nourriture bio est très fine et harmonieuse, comme le lieu. Nous avons passé 4 nuits extra ! Nous rêvons de revenir.

Small buffet breakfast but actually lots of tasty choice and enough to satisfy a vegetarian and carnivore. Relaxed friendly vibe. Comfy bedroom in main guest house. Dark skies!

A beautiful place to stay. Rooms are large and charmingly decorated with balconies and comfy beds. Downstairs is both a cafe and restaurant, with organic gardens outside, horse riding center and many walking paths through beautiful woods. The food is outstanding and fresh and the staff is kind and welcoming. The drive in will test your skills but it is worth it.

Really good and wide selection of the options for brekafast. Plenty of options which were really tasty. Nice & helpful kitchen team - thank you! The place has a lot of potential and may be a wonderful area to stay for a nice and relaxing time but it requires more attention.

This may be related to the room we were staying in but it did not seem to be ready for guests. There was a lot of the dust there, the shower has no proper cabin but bead curtain which was dirty and was not helping with preventing the rest of the bathroom from the water. The reception personel was not available whenever we tried to catch them (luckily responding to the messages via the portal). The common area where you can prepare your coffee/tea & store goods in the small fridge was dirty and full of dead insects (you may expect insects as you are in the middle of the nature but this should be managed on regular basis).

Nice, cute bio concept property! We loved the pizza night idea too we could add any of the ingredients and the quantity we wanted! Breakfast was super too! Delicious bread, pancakes, bread spreadings and much more - most of them handmade! Very friendly horses - kids enjoyed it a lot too! The little one was very excited all the time.

We had a lovely stay at Slieve Aughty Centre. Very unique setting, it actually made a short weekend away VERY relaxing. The staff were amazing and the food was awesome! Way better than a hotel in the city! We will definitely be booking with you again in future!

Our staycation was even better than we expected. We brought two children for a midweek break, and they absolutely loved every minute of it. We stayed in one of the self-catering cabins, which was so cosy and beautifully designed. I always love a good wood burning stove, and it made the cabin feel even more relaxing. There’s no TV, but honestly, we didn’t miss it. Instead, we spent our time exploring the forest walks, beautiful gardens and stables. We wandered deep into the forest where we came across stunning lakes, the kids even decided to walk in them! Enchanted forest CUTE ☺️ It was such a lovely way to disconnect and enjoy nature together. The café was absolutely adorable. Every detail of the décor had clearly been thought through, with beautiful rustic, cottage-M style vibes throughout. The coffee was amazing (although maybe don’t let the chef make it! 😂), and the brownie was hands down one of the nicest I’ve ever tasted & I am not a brownie fan (was so delish). One of the biggest positives for us was being able to bring our Golden Retriever, who was so well behaved during our stay. We also noticed a couple of resident cats wandering around, which added to the charm. Fire logs are provided too, making the evenings even cosier. One thing worth noting is that dogs aren’t permitted in the dormitory style accommodation above reception, which is why we stayed in one of the cabins instead. If you’re travelling with your dog, I’d definitely recommend booking a cabin.

The children wanted to go horse riding the following day. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up and some miscommunication regarding the booking (we booked in advance) but I have to give a special mention to the new receptionist, Monica. She handled the situation with incredible patience, professionalism and kindness despite the confusion, and she really turned the experience around for us. The kids were delighted to go out in the end. Overall, we loved every minute of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, with cosy accommodation, lovely walks and a beautiful atmosphere, I’d highly recommend it (flies come out after dark and they are nastily so watch out).

Absolutely perfect. We have loved every second of our weekend here. There has been so much for the kids to do, painting, horse riding, walking, playground, etc they have thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Everything is so beautiful, so much love has went into the place, it's truly magical. The staff are super friendly, and the food is gorgeous, and all organic too. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, we've already booked to come back!

I loved the rural location. The chill vibe and the whole set up was great.

The whole place was spotless so I have no complaints. My duvet was a little musty but I am a huge fusspot when it comes to smells so it could have just been my sensitivity to that. Over all spotless. There was no freezer only a fridge, I had brought some frozen fruit along so they thawed pretty quickly, all amenities were there. Staff were lovely and very helpful. It was the most relaxing breakaway I've had in a long time. I will definitely return.

Przepiękne miejsca, z dala od zgiełku, prowadzone przez właścicieli z wielką miłością. Ogromny obiekt w pobliżu pięknego lasu, a w okolicy stadniny pełne koni. Miła obsługa, dobry kontakt, a przede wszystkim cisza, spokój oraz zaczarowany las, do którego koniecznie musisz zajrzeć będąc na miejscu. Polecam z całego serca. Mnie to miejsce urzekło.

Ma petite famille et moi avons reçu un excellent accueil et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux. Nous avons passé des nuits calmes et reposantes. Une mention spéciale pour Victoria, d'une grande douceur, qui échangeait en français avec nous. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ici lors de notre prochaine visite dans ce beau pays !

It's a magical place with the nicest staff and most delicious food. My three year old loved the craft room and board games and the baby enjoyed waving at the horses and cats! My husband and I loved the peaceful walks and delicious food

We loved everything

We absolutely loved it here, we have 1 under 2 and a 4 year old and they had a great time, super pleasant staff, very accommodating and flexible, house cute and cozy with comfy bed, food was fab and pizza night was a great little treat 😊 horses cats ect around that the little ones loved, playpark and enchanted wood. Also there was an Easter festival on so extra fun was had 🥰

I loved everything about the accommodation, as it brought us into the realm of fairytale. We stayed in one of the cabins, which was full character inside and outside. We celebrated our birthdays and felt like we could truly take a proper break from our rushed daily lives in very charming surroundings. For us it was better than expected. Booking.com photos dont do ot justice. We were even welcomed by two very friendly cats, which clearly enjoyed our company, and so did we theirs. Highly recommended. :)

I had to stay there for 7 weeks only because it was close to my workplace. Otherwise, everything was awful

I wouldn’t even give it one star. The place was dirty several times, there was no internet, no TV, and no heating — they had to bring me an electric heater. The kitchen was poorly equipped; nothing worked, and there wasn’t even a decent knife to cook with. The place was full of dirt and spider webs, with big spiders everywhere! Laundry service was a nightmare — you wait two weeks to get half your clothes back, then have to beg again for the rest. This stay really cost me my nerves. Honestly terrible. Those giving five stars must be friends or fake accounts. Good luck if you go there!

It was a great experience, a very calm environment, a perfect place to unwind, relax surrounded by nature. Good food, cozy family bedroom. Great memories were created on our stay.

Things like to have staff available more often at reception to assist with basics things, such as bin bags, clean bathroom mats, etc, would be a great improvement.

The cabin we stayed in was freezing and the Tyres on the trailer were not pumped to the trailer was at an angle. No kettle or any facilities like that.

Everything about this stay was perfect. It was a great quiet spot to rest and recharge. Lots of lovely walking routes from the centre and we could have our dog along to stay with us. Food and coffee on site were delicious and staff were all very friendly. Loughrea was a 10 minute drive away with more walks, shops and restaurants. Exactly the sort of trip that was needed and would not hesitate to return

Wir hatten ein sehr, sehr süßes Zimmer in einem kleinen Chalet ganz für uns allein. Es war gemütlich ausgestattet und auch bei der Frage nach extra Bettzeug ist man uns ohne Umschweife entgegengekommen. Nicht nur unser Zimmer, sondern auch der Rest des Anwesens hat eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Es ist einer der besten Stopps während unserer Reise gewesen.

Very friendly atmosphere

Reception could be improved

The rented chalet was quite big, there is a kitchen/living room and a big bedroom, so enough room to stay for quite a while. The breakfast we had was good, there were pancakes, smashed eggs, cheese and cereals, different types of bread, coffee, tea.

The chalet has his best years behind him and was not really clean. The house is situated under really big trees, therefore everything felt damp and clammy, because no sun reaches the inside.

It is in a beautiful location and a nice break away from the hustle and bustle.

This place was very cosy and lovely. The shower was amazing. Decor was really cool. The grounds around the place were nice to walk around. There was a big pig in a pen which my kids loved. They have Pizza or Taco parties every friday which was really handy for dinner. Very tasty too.

Kind of in the middle of nowhere. So make sure you wont need to run to the shops. Matress on the beds were a little thin.

Just an amazing place to stay

location was beautiful, cottage very quaint and peaceful, lots of space, lovely walks and surroundings.

for self catering I would expect a few more essentials in the cabin, washing up, cloths, tea/coffee. if staying for the weekend I wouldn't expect to have to go out and purchase these items.

We loved the homely, relaxed feel of the property. It had such charm, and quirky little details. A sunny weekend was the cherry on top! Staff were friendly and helpful! Thanks to Merel and the cafe staff! And Jana who was our horseriding guide through the forest.

We had a wonderful few days as a family in one of the chalets. A perfect dreamy retreat with lots of peace but enough activities to keep occupied.

Our extractor fan did not work Fire alarm went off like 7 times due to cooking for our Christmas holiday. Only 2 towels provided and couldn’t get fresh towels or linnen Being a pet friendly place you’d expect animals to get along, there are some cats there that just randomly roamed into our cabin, took our food from off the kitchen table and also attacked our dog 3 times. We left a day earlier because we couldn’t cope with having to be closed up to try keep cats out and have a fire alarm piercing our ears

The breakfast was fab and the location was so beautiful.it was the most surreal break away we have experienced, our daughter just loved everything about it. It exceeded our expectations, we are going back.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

Beautiful accommodation in cottage Honeymoon was fantastic. There is everything you need, very quiet, around you can visit many domestic animals, playground, forest for kids. Amazing accommodation Personal was very friendly

Slieve Aughty Centre is a beautiful place in the Irish countryside. Horse riding is offered. Different activities are offered to children, like pony riding, a playground or the “enchanted forest.” The facilities are clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The scenery, location, quirkiness and rustic atmosphere. The centre is home to a very friendly cat.

We felt that the wagon lacked privacy, which was not advertised, as it is placed on a pathway for any passers-by. As well, the wagon didn’t feel secure, as it could be opened while locked.
